Portal Indexed Open Access Journals (PIOAJ)
Building global visibility bridges for scientific literature and reputable journals from the Nusantara.
Understanding the PIOAJ Acronym
PIOAJ stands for Portal Indexed Open Access Journals. Just like the Pine tree (Pinus) which represents strength, growing tall, and remaining evergreen throughout the seasons, this platform is designed to sustain the strength of scientific research in the Nusantara, enabling it to grow tall and shine globally.
Born from an initiative to unify and disseminate scientific article metadata from various higher education institutions and research organizations in Indonesia structurally, PIOAJ addresses the challenges of localized and fragmented publication data. We believe that local research visibility is a key catalyst for national innovation.
Through smart metadata extraction algorithms, PIOAJ collects, structures, and presents citation metrics in real-time. This helps researchers track their contribution index and supports institutions in evaluating scientific output.
Our Vision
To become the primary scientific journal indexing database in Southeast Asia, connecting Nusantara research output with the global science ecosystem by 2030.
Our Mission
- To provide an accurate, comprehensive, and easily accessible scientific article metadata database.
