, interaksi dengan orang asing di internet, serta penggunaan screen time berlebihan. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman anak mengenai sehat di ruang digital dengan memberikan literasi digital, keamanan digital, dan penggunaan gadget sehat. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara daring melalui Zoom Meeting dengan melibatkan 20 anak RPTRA Malinjo Jakarta Selatan sebagai peserta utama, dua dosen Unas sebagai fasilitator, dan satu mahasiswa sebagai pendamping teknis. Metode yang digunakan adalah edukatif interaktif melalui penyampaian materi visual, video edukatif, diskusi partisipatif, simulasi kasus sederhana (learning by doing). Evaluasi dilakukan dengan melalui observasi partisipasi peserta, serta refleksi kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai batasan screen time sehat, etika berinternet, dan cara menjaga keamanan digital, yang terlihat dari perbandingan hasil pre-test dan post-test serta keaktifan peserta selama kegiatan. Selain itu, pengelola RPTRA memperoleh modul literasi digital sebagai panduan implementasi lanjutan. Program ini juga menghasilkan komitmen awal peserta untuk menerapkan perilaku penggunaan gadget yang lebih sehat. Kegiatan ini dapat disimpulkan efektif sebagai upaya edukasi preventif berbasis komunitas dalam meningkatkan literasi dan kesehatan digital anak. Program berpotensi direplikasi pada komunitas serupa dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan media pembelajaran interaktif.

Kondisi ini diperparah oleh terbatasnya akses terhadap lembaga pendidikan non-formal yang berkualitas, metode pengajaran yang konvensional, serta kurangnya lingkungan yang mendukung untuk praktik. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendirikan Excellent Learning Center (ELC) sebagai lembaga kursus Bahasa Inggris yang terjangkau dan berkualitas, meningkatkan kemampuan literasi Bahasa Inggris peserta secara signifikan, serta menerapkan metode pembelajaran yang komunikatif, interaktif, dan menyenangkan. Melalui metode pelaksanaan tiga tahap—persiapan, implementasi, dan evaluasi—program berhasil meningkatkan skor rata-rata tes Bahasa Inggris peserta sebesar 37,8%. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran komunikatif dan interaktif yang diterapkan di ELC efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan kompetensi peserta, terutama pada keterampilan membaca dan mendengarkan.

The method used is Participatory Learning and Action (PLA), which includes the stage of observing local potential, a motivational workshop, and mentoring in developing a simple business model. The results of the activity showed a 90% increase in student understanding in identifying business opportunities based on regional potential. In addition, a student business startup group was formed that was able to design innovative product value propositions. The conclusion of this community service is that the motivational workshop is effective in changing the mindset of students from job seekers to business opportunity creators by leveraging regional comparative advantages.

ice program aimed to improve knowledge, skills, and preparedness in managing minor sports injuries through a digital-based educational intervention entitled Smart Recovery. The program was implemented among junior high school (SMP) teachers and students in Banyumas Regency, Indonesia, using a participatory and technology-integrated approach. Activities consisted of program socialization, theoretical and practical training on minor injury management based on the RICE principle (Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation), and the pilot implementation of the Smart Recovery digital application. Program effectiveness was evaluated using pre-test and post-test assessments, practical skill observations, and user feedback questionnaires. The results demonstrated a substantial improvement in participants’ knowledge, with average scores increasing from 62.4 to 88.6, and 95% of participants successfully performing the RICE procedures correctly after training. Furthermore, 92% of users reported that the digital application facilitated their understanding of injury management, while 87% perceived the platform as user-friendly and applicable for physical education learning. The integration of hands-on training and digital learning media proved effective in enhancing sports injury literacy, digital competence, and safety awareness in school settings. These findings indicate that the Smart Recovery program has strong potential as a sustainable and scalable model for promoting sports safety education within junior high schools.

This creates a gap between the need for speaking skills and the teaching methods used, reinforcing students' fear and lack of confidence. Based on these issues, this Community Service activity aims to improve students' speaking skills through the application of the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) method integrated with the Playful English approach, which involves enjoyable learning through games, role-play, and creative activities. The methods used include guided speaking exercises, conversation simulations, and collaborative projects such as creating promotional posters for beach tourism in English. The results show a significant improvement in students' fluency, confidence, and active participation. Students began to speak more boldly, practice simple sentences, and express ideas spontaneously. The classroom atmosphere became livelier and more enjoyable with minimal psychological barriers such as fear of making mistakes. The implications of this activity are that the CLT approach combined with elements of joy can serve as an effective learning model in non-formal institutions. This method not only enhances language skills but also empowers students socially and emotionally, and can be replicated in similar communities.

The implementation adopted a participatory and collaborative approach, engaging participants particularly university students in ritual activities, Dharma discussions, and the practice of moral precepts (sīla). The selection of Muaro Jambi Temple also served as a strategy to revitalize the site’s function as a center for spiritual cultivation and cultural preservation. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of the Dharma, adherence to moral precepts, and awareness of the importance of Buddhist cultural heritage. The program fostered the development of religious character and cultural identity, enhancing participants’ commitment to preserving the noble values of Buddhism within the local context. Furthermore, it opened opportunities for the development of history-based religious tourism. In conclusion, this PKM effectively integrates religious education, character building, and cultural preservation. Its sustainability requires multi-stakeholder support to ensure that the values, history, and spirituality of the Nusantara heritage are preserved authentically and meaningfully.

nyata dari pengabdian masyarakat adalah kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Lapangan (KKL) yang wajib diikuti oleh mahasiswa sebagai bagian dari proses pembelajaran kontekstual di luar kelas. Universitas Graha Nusantara (UGN) Padangsidimpuan berkomitmen mengoptimalkan KKL sebagai sarana pengembangan kompetensi akademik dan sosial mahasiswa melalui keterlibatan langsung di tengah masyarakat. Pada tahun 2024, kegiatan KKL dilaksanakan di Desa Siamporik Lombang, Kecamatan Angkola Selatan, Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang dikombinasikan dengan prinsip service learning, mahasiswa dari berbagai program studi melaksanakan program lintas bidang, meliputi pendidikan, pertanian, ekonomi, sosial-politik, dan teknik. Kegiatan-kegiatan ini mencakup peningkatan literasi anak, inovasi pertanian berbasis sumber daya lokal, pelatihan ekonomi kreatif, pendataan kependudukan, serta perbaikan infrastruktur dan pengenalan teknologi edukatif. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan partisipatif efektif mendorong keterlibatan aktif masyarakat dan penguatan kapasitas mahasiswa sebagai agen perubahan. Mahasiswa tidak hanya menerapkan ilmu yang diperoleh di bangku kuliah, tetapi juga mengembangkan empati, kepemimpinan, serta kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kolaboratif. Pelaksanaan KKL ini menegaskan bahwa perguruan tinggi mampu berkontribusi secara konkret terhadap pembangunan masyarakat melalui model pengabdian yang kolaboratif dan transformatif.
