The results of the study show that science made rapid progress during the Abbasid era, especially in mathematics, medicine, astronomy, and chemistry. Translating and disseminating information from Greek, Persian, and Indian civilizations was greatly assisted by centers of knowledge such as Bayt al-Hikma (House of Wisdom) in Baghdad. Famous scientists such as Al-Khwarizmi, Ibn Sina, and Al-Razi made major contributions through their highly influential works, which were then widely disseminated in the West. In contrast, empiricism emphasizes that knowledge arises from sensory experience, as articulated by John Locke, George Berkeley, and David Hume. Although these views are often considered opposing, Immanuel Kant attempted to bridge the gap by proposing that knowledge is the result of the interaction between reason and experience. In the context of modern science, both rationalism and empiricism are no longer viewed as separate poles but rather as complementary, especially in fields such as artificial intelligence and neurobiology. This article demonstrates that the synthesis of rationalism and empiricism provides a more holistic understanding of human knowledge, which is highly relevant to the advancement of science and technology in the modern era. Based on a pre-survey at Panti Wreda Budi Dharma Kasih, it was found that more than half of the elderly experienced hypertension due to a lack of elderly knowledge about hypertension. This community service activity aims to educate the elderly about hypertension and invite the elderly to have a good lifestyle. This activity was carried out at Panti Wreda Budi Dharma Kasih attended by 27 participants. The PKM method is carried out by checking the blood pressure of the elderly using a sphygmomanometer and stethoscope. Screening of PKM participants is elderly people with a minimum age of 60 years who can hear and see. The provision of education is carried out by lecture method using power points containing the definition of hypertension and elderly causative factors and ways to prevent hypertension, then a question and answer session is held. Data collection on the level of knowledge was carried out using pre-education and post-education questionnaires. The results of this activity show an increase in knowledge in the elderly after providing education for 3 meetings.

were as many as 918 findings of diarrhea in toddlers at Gang Sehat Health Center. Mother's factor also affects the occurrence of diarrhea in toddlers. Knowledge is one of the factors causing the high mortality rate due to diarrhea. The importance of maternal knowledge and attitudes in handling diarrheal diseases needs to be discussed because diarrhea that is delayed or improperly handled can cause pain and adverse effects on children, namely infant mortality. Objective: To determine the relationship between mothers' knowledge and attitudes about diarrhea management and the classification of diarrhea in toddlers at the Gang Sehat Health Center. Methods: This study used the accidental sampling method with bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test. Results: The Chi Square test resulted in a value of 0.934, meaning that the P value > 0.05 indicates that there is no relationship between maternal knowledge and diarrhea classification in toddlers. With the results of the value of 0.443, meaning that the P value > 0.05, there is no relationship between the mother's attitude and diarrhea classification about diarrhea management in toddlers. This PKM is held in the form of providing materials and training in English role studies, with the aim of increasing knowledge in business management, e-commerce and career planning. The method used in this study is through a literature study which collects several previous studies to answer the role of English. Use of English and the influence of using English for the purpose of applying knowledge regarding business management, e-commerce and career planning. It is hoped that all SMK Jayawisata 1 students who have taken part in training in the lecturer's role, namely PKM (Community Service), can broaden their knowledge of Business English. Based on the results of this literature study, it can be concluded that English plays an important role as a communication tool for business purposes.
