Syafi'i, M. Imam, Ariyadi, Samsul, Huda, Ade Naelul
Abstract: This article examines criticism of the practice of interfaith marriage in the framework of religious moderation in Indonesia over the past fifteen years. Through a qualitative approach with a structured literature study,… this study evaluates the dynamics of interfaith marriage criticism and its impact on religious moderation practices in society. Data was collected from journals and books published between 2018 and 2023 that discussed the theory of religious moderation and the dynamics of interfaith marriage. The results of the analysis show that criticism of interfaith marriage, while potentially hindering tolerance, also triggers negotiations of religious identity and renewal of the value of moderation. These findings reveal a new understanding that criticism, when articulated in a balanced and objective manner, can encourage the enhancement of intercommunal dialogue and the affirmation of the values of religious moderation. The implications of this research are important in the development of inclusive public policy and religious practices, and are expected to serve as a basis for further research and decision-making in the fields of religious moderation and socio-religious studies.

PERBAIKAN MUTU BERKELANJUTAN (CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT) DAN STANDAR MUTU (QUALITY STANDART) DALAM PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM

Puspita, Kurnia Tri, Muallimin, Khoirul Anwar
Abstract: Islamic Religious Education (PAI) faces complex challenges in maintaining relevance and quality amidst social change, technology, and demands for public accountability. Two main concepts in educational quality management—continuous… —continuous improvement and quality assurance—are often discussed separately, despite their fundamentally synergistic relationship. This study aims to conceptually examine the integration of continuous improvement and quality assurance in the context of PAI, addressing how both frameworks can be operationalized simultaneously to improve the quality of PAI delivery. Using a systematic literature review method through Google Scholar and Publish or Perish (PoP) for the 2019–2026 period, 25 relevant articles were analyzed from 80 initial findings. The results show that quality assurance functions as a holding system that establishes standards, while continuous improvement acts as a driving force encouraging innovation and adaptation. However, in PAI practice, tension exists between standard compliance (QA) and the need for dynamic change (CI). This article offers an integrative framework called the Adaptive Quality Cycle (AQC), combining the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle with Islamic principles such as muhasabah (self-evaluation), tahsin (continuous improvement), and itqan (professionalism). This integration is key for PAI institutions to not only meet minimum standards but also continuously develop dynamically without losing their Islamic identity.

Rohaedah, Rohaedah, Sulaeman, Devi, Musyadad, Mia Audina, Laras, Irena, Supriatna, Asep
Abstract: The digital transformation in education presents both challenges and opportunities for Islamic educational institutions in maintaining their value orientation amidst changes in media and learning interaction patterns. These… ese changes require efforts to reactualize Islamic educational values to remain relevant and operational in creating an effective and character-based learning climate. This study aims to analyze the process of reactualization of Islamic educational values in the transformation of the learning climate in the digital era at Madrasah Ibidaiyah Al Umm. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study. Data collection techniques included participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Data were then analyzed interactively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that value reactualization occurs through three main patterns: the integration of values into digital learning planning, the establishment of an etiquette-based classroom culture in online interactions, and teacher role models in digital communication ethics. Technological transformation is interpreted as a medium for strengthening character, not simply an innovation in learning tools. The resulting learning climate demonstrates consistency between madrasah policies, pedagogical practices, and classroom culture. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of values-based digital learning design as a foundation for character building in madrasahs, while also providing a conceptual contribution to the development of contextual Islamic education in the digital era.
