Abstract:The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is currently progressing very rapidly and has had a major influence on various sectors, including the education sector, offering great potential in compiling engaging…
aging and relevant teaching materials. However, teachers still face challenges related to limitations in time, energy, technological understanding, and the accuracy of AI-generated content. Findings from the analysis show that AI has a significant capability to support teachers in designing learning materials relevant to student needs, as well as testing the accuracy of AI-generated content related to the learning material. Using a non-participant observation method, data was collected through social media, unstructured interviews with lecturers, teachers, and the general public, as well as testing the content of AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Meta AI. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to analyze the data. The study's findings reveal that artificial intelligence has a significant capacity to support educators in designing learning materials, while also optimizing time productivity and teaching innovation. However, the accuracy of AI content, although quite high for basic concepts, often does not include specific sources or references, thus requiring manual verification by teachers. The main challenges include a lack of training and technological understanding. It is recommended that teachers undergo AI training and always verify AI content with trusted sources.
Abstract:This study aims to analyze and identify how the news of "Former Chicken Cage Becomes School" represents the inequality of access to education with the framework of Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis. This study…
udy adopts a descriptive qualitative method using Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis (AWK) as the main framework. Data is collected through documentation and recording of news texts from relevant online media. Data analysis was carried out sequentially covering Fairclough's three dimensions: microstructural analysis (word choice, sentence structure, rhetorical strategy), mesostructural analysis (the practice of production and distribution of news texts), and macrostructural analysis (social and ideological relationships that underlie discourse). The results of this study reveal the complex representation of inequality in access to education through critical discourse analysis (AWK) on the news "Former Chicken Cage Becomes School" with the Norman Fairclough approach. Microstructurally, word choice and sentence structure build a narrative of struggle and implicit criticism of the system. At the mesostructural level, local MATAMAROS.COM strategic media frame this issue as an urgent social issue, including publication during National Education Day 2025 to maximize impact. Macrostructurally, the news reflects structural inequality due to geographical/economic marginalization, reinforces the ideology of "unsung heroes," and highlights the power imbalance. This descriptive qualitative research concludes that the news is a strong linguistic construct, aiming to mobilize public opinion on inequality in access to education, while reflecting the issue of unequal development and the role of actors in social justice
Abstract:Background : Mental disorders are conditions in which individuals experience disturbances in psychological, social, and biological functions. One of the most common symptoms in patients with schizophrenia is visual hallucination,…
cination, which refers to the perception of seeing something that does not actually exist. This condition affects the patient’s ability to function and interact with their social environment. Appropriate nursing interventions are required to help patients manage their hallucinations. One such intervention is the talking technique, a distraction strategy that redirects the patient’s attention from hallucinations to real-life interaction. Objective : This study aims to determine the process of mental nursing care for patients with sensory perception disorders: visual hallucinations with a focus on conversation interventions at Dr. Soedjarwadi Klaten Regional Hospital. Method : The design of this study uses a case study method consisting of stages of assessment, determination of nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The subject in this study was Mr. P, a patient at the Dr. RM Soedjarwadi Klaten Regional Mental Hospital. Results : The results of the study showed that consistent implementation of conversational strategies during treatment can reduce the intensity of hallucinations, increase awareness of reality, and rebuild patients' social interaction abilities. Counclusion : Conversation intervention is an effective approach in treating visual hallucinations in mental disorders patients.
Abstract:Menstrual pain, or dysmenorrhea, is a common menstrual disorder experienced by teenage girls that can disrupt daily activities. Menstrual pain management includes, but is not limited to, pharmacological and non-pharmacological…
ogical approaches. One of the non-pharmacological treatments is called acupressure. This study aims to determine the effect of acupressure therapy on the intensity of menstrual pain among female students at SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. The research employed a quantitative design with a one-group pretest and posttest quasi-experimental design. The population consisted of 153 girls, and 20 of them were selected as the sample using a purposive sampling technique. The data were collected using a Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) questionnaire from May 7th to 17th, 2025. Then, the data was analyzed using the Wilcoxon Test, which obtained a p-value of 0.000 <0.05. This result indicated there was an acupressure effect on menstrual pain. Therefore, this finding proved that the use of acupressure influenced menstrual pain among female students at SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. This study recommends that female students familiarize themselves with and practice acupressure techniques as an effort to reduce menstrual pain without relying on medication. Furthermore, female students need to be more open to seeking information and natural solutions for controlling reproductive health at an early age.
Abstract:A fuzzy logic-based control system in household split-type air conditioners (AC) offers an alternative approach to reducing excess energy consumption without compromising thermal comfort. This study aims to test the effectiveness…
ctiveness of three types of membership functions (MF), namely triangular, trapezoidal, and Gaussian, in improving energy efficiency and the stability of room temperature and humidity control. Simulations were performed using MATLAB software with the Mamdani fuzzy inference method and centroid defuzzification technique. The three MF were tested using 30 sets of temperature and humidity data to analyze their effect on fan speed and power consumption. The simulation results show that the trapezoidal MF provides the highest energy efficiency of 57.24%, followed by the Gaussian MF at 56.80% and the triangular MF at 53.71%. These findings indicate that fuzzy systems can significantly reduce energy consumption compared to conventional air conditioner controllers. This research is expected to serve as a reference in the development of more energy-efficient intelligent control systems.
Abstract:Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) includes physical, emotional, and behavioral symptoms pre-menstruation. These symptoms affect the daily activities of adolescent girls. Regular physical activity can increase endorphin production,…
ion, which may reduce PMS symptoms. This study aims to investigate the correlation between physical activity and PMS symptoms among girls in Abulyatama Senior High School. This study used a quantitative technique with a descriptive approach. The population consisted of all 41 adolescent girls at Abulyatama Senior High School who were also selected as the sample using a total sampling technique. The data collection from April 24th to May 5th, 2025. The Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ) was used to measure physical activity level, while the Shortened Premenstrual Assessment Form (SPAF) was used to assess PMS symptoms. Data analysis used the Chi- Square test using univariate and bivariate analysis techniques. The results showed a correlation between physical activity and premenstrual syndrome with p = 0.018 correlation (p<0,05). These findings suggest there is a significant correlation between physical activity and reduced PMS symptoms among girls in Abulyatama Senior High School. This study suggests that the girls regularly do physical activity and use it as one non-pharmacological treatment to reduce PMS symptoms.
Abstract:This study aimed to identify risk factors associated with hypertension in Bonto Tallasa Village, Uluere Subdistrict, Bantaeng Regency, in 2025. The research examined three factors: family history, excessive sodium intake,…
, and stress. A quantitative case–control design was applied to 60 respondents (30 cases and 30 controls) selected through purposive sampling. The results showed that individuals with a family history of hypertension were about 26 times more likely to develop hypertension than those without such a history, indicating a strong and significant association. Excessive sodium intake increased the risk approximately 3.5 times and was statistically significant. Stress was associated with nearly double the risk, but this association was not statistically significant, possibly due to individual differences in coping mechanisms and measurement limitations of subjective stress levels. This suggests that stress may influence hypertension indirectly through behavioral or physiological pathways. In conclusion, family history and excessive sodium intake are significant predictors of hypertension, while stress contributes to an elevated yet statistically nonsignificant risk. Preventive strategies should emphasize sodium reduction, regular blood pressure monitoring, and effective stress management in daily life.
Abstract:Background: Gout arthritis is a degenerative disease commonly experienced by the elderly due to elevated uric acid levels in the blood. One safe non-pharmacological treatment alternative is the use of herbal remedies such…
h as soursop leaves (Annona muricata L), which contain active compounds like flavonoids and alkaloids that may reduce uric acid levels. Objective: To describe the effect of boiled soursop leaf water on reducing uric acid levels in elderly patients with gout arthritis in Karangjambu Village, Karangjambu Subdistrict, Purbalingga Regency. Method: This study employed a case study method. Subjects were given an intervention of 200 ml of boiled soursop leaf water daily (100 ml in the morning and 100 ml in the evening) for seven consecutive days. Uric acid levels were measured before and after the intervention. Results: After seven days of soursop leaf water administration, uric acid levels decreased from an average of 8.7–9.0 mg/dl to 5.5–5.8 mg/dl. This suggests that the active compounds in soursop leaves are effective in inhibiting xanthine oxidase and promoting uric acid excretion through urine. Conclusion: Boiled soursop leaf water is effective in lowering uric acid levels in elderly patients with gout arthritis and can serve as a safe and practical complementary non-pharmacological therapy within the community.
Abstract:Marriage involving pregnant women outside wedlock remains a critical socio-cultural and legal phenomenon in Indonesia, particularly in North Halmahera where family honor, religious authority, and customary law strongly influence…
nfluence communal life. This study aimed to explore how such marriages are understood, legitimized, and practiced by families, community leaders, and legal institutions. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with religious leaders, adat leaders, government officials, parents, and young women, complemented by participant observation and document analysis, and analyzed with an interactive model of reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that marriage is primarily arranged to safeguard family honor, with communities regarding it as the only socially acceptable corrective measure, while religious leaders across traditions adopt pragmatic interpretations, invoking public interest or redemption to justify the practice, and customary rituals together with state dispensations further reinforce its legitimacy. Although marriage resolves immediate stigma and reintegrates families socially, it simultaneously generates long-term vulnerabilities, including interrupted education, economic dependence, marital instability, psychological stress, and increased maternal and neonatal health risks. This study contributes to the sociology of law and religion by demonstrating how socio-cultural confinement, Islamic legal pluralism, and adat practices converge in eastern Indonesia, while underscoring the urgent need for holistic interventions that integrate sexuality education, family communication, religious engagement, and legal reform to protect women and children more effectively.
Abstract:The challenges of modern education demand not only academic achievement but also the cultivation of students’ noble character. In this context, the role of principals in Integrated Islamic Senior High Schools (SMA IT) becomes…
becomes highly strategic. This study aims to analyze and describe the role and influence of principals’ Islamic integrative leadership on improving the performance of educational staff within SMA IT. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological method was employed. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with principals and educational staff as well as participant observation. Analysis was conducted interactively through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that Islamic integrative leadership which combines modern leadership models such as transformational, instructional, democratic, servant, and distributive leadership with Islamic values such as exemplary conduct (uswah hasanah), consultation (syura), trustworthiness (amanah), justice, and a clear vision significantly enhances the performance of educational staff. The integration of these values creates a work culture imbued with a spirit of worship, collaboration, and quality orientation. Educational staff become more motivated, loyal, and productive as they view their work as part of worship. This study concludes that Islamic integrative leadership is not merely a leadership style but an effective organizational culture foundation at SMA IT. Its implementation has been proven to empower educational staff, improve their performance, and support the achievement of sustainable Islamic educational goals. This leadership model is recommended for broader development in Islamic educational institutions.
