skills. In this research, the researchers used a qualitative descriptive study as the research methodology. The study takes place at the LKP YHSUA Training Institute for Self-Development, involving 20 students. The data was collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was done through data collection, reduction, display, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the drilling method used became the suitable method that has a significant effect on the young learners’ mastery of the four English skills. In addition, the young learners can pronounce, read, write, and listen to the whole lessons and games given through the use of the drilling method combined with printed stories through learning process. Besides that, teaching and learning process becomes more fun. Overall, the drilling method has proven to be an effective approach for teaching the four English skills to students.

BIPA teaching materials. This limited teaching material is an important problem that teachers often face in BIPA learning activities. Therefore, the development of BIPA teaching materials is urgently needed. The problems studied in this research are (1) characteristics of BIPA 1 teaching materials currently used in BIPA learning, (2) development of BIPA 1 teaching materials based on the Animaker application as alternative teaching materials in BIPA learning, (3) feasibility of developing BIPA teaching materials 1 based on the Animaker application in BIPA learning, and (4) the effectiveness of developing BIPA 1 teaching materials based on the Animaker application based on BIPA learners' understanding. This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach. This research uses three data collection techniques, namely observation, questionnaires, and documentation to obtain data on the needs for developing teaching materials and evaluating teaching material prototypes. The data sources consist of BIPA teachers, BIPA students and expert lecturers. Data analysis in this research uses descriptive qualitative which consists of data presentation and data conclusions. The results of this research are that BIPA students often feel bored and confused by teaching materials that are only presented in the form of textbooks and very short material. Therefore, teaching materials need to be developed in accordance with Widodo and Jasmadi's theory of teaching material characteristics so that they can support independent learning, deeper understanding, contextualization of material, increased motivation, comprehensive language skills, adaptation to technological developments, learning flexibility, and strengthening skills. grammar. This study aims to analyzea the role of teachers in designing creative learning based on deep learning and explore the strategies used to integrate deep learning principles into learning planning and practice. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies involving teachers who are members of the West Angkola District KKG.The results indicate that teachers play a strategic role in designing creative learning through the use of interactive media, developing problem-based activities, and implementing collaborative learning models. Teachers also strive to foster students' critical thinking skills through structured discussions, explorations, and reflections. The learning design implemented has been proven to not only increase student motivation but also strengthen teachers' professional competence in managing more meaningful learning. Thus, it can be concluded that the role of teachers in designing creative learning using a deep learning approach significantly contributes to the quality of the learning process in elementary schools. . Limited English proficiency among local children has long hindered effective communication with foreign visitors and restricted opportunities for community-based tourism development. To address this challenge, the program incorporated basic English vocabulary related to the beach environment into interactive activities, such as songs, games, visual aids, and direct exploration of local surroundings. These methods were designed to provide authentic, engaging, and memorable language learning experiences tailored to the learners’ environment. A pre-test and post-test design was employed to evaluate the program’s effectiveness. The results demonstrated a substantial improvement in students’ vocabulary mastery, with mean scores rising from 61.36 on the pre-test to 89.73 on the post-test. Statistical analysis using a paired sample t-test revealed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), confirming that CTL significantly enhanced vocabulary acquisition. The normalized gain (N-Gain) indicated a high level of progress among participants, showing consistent improvement across all learners. Beyond cognitive gains, qualitative observations indicated that students exhibited greater confidence, motivation, and environmental awareness as they linked English lessons to familiar contexts. This program illustrates that CTL offers a practical, low-cost, and highly effective strategy for empowering youth in remote island communities. By contextualizing English instruction in real-life settings, CTL not only fosters academic achievement but also supports community engagement, cultural pride, and sustainable human resource development in rural tourism areas.

his study used the R&D (Research and Development) research method with the ADDIE model which was limited to the development stage. Data collection in this study used pretest-posttest test instruments and a questionnaire in the form of a metacognitive inventory questionnaire. The results showed that the value of students' metacognitive skills based on metacognitive skills-based tests for the planning indicator was 90.91%; the monitoring indicator was 80.68%; and the evaluation indicator was 86.36%. These results were supported by the acquisition of the metacognitive inventory given at the end of the meeting for the planning indicator of 93.18%; the monitoring indicator was 88.64%; and the evaluation indicator was 89.02%. Overall, students' metacognitive skills increased significantly.

uasi-experimental method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used was non-random purposive sampling, with two classes selected as samples, each consisting of 32 students. The data collection technique used in this study was an oral test instrument, designed using a non-equivalent control group design. The results showed that the average score of the experimental class was 45.31 in the pre-test and 67.81 in the post-test. Meanwhile, the control class scored an average of 44.84 in the pre-test and 46.56 in the post-test. The data were tested for normality and found to be normally distributed. The homogeneity test results showed a significance value of 0.308 > 0.05, indicating that the data are homogeneous or have the same variance. The findings revealed that the use of hand puppet media had a significant effect on students' speaking skills. The hypothesis testing using a Paired Sample T-Test showed a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the result is statistically significant. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H₁) is accepted, meaning there is a significant difference in students’ speaking skills before and after being taught using hand puppet media.

Although prior studies indicate that Trello enhances teamwork and student engagement in senior high schools, there remains a paucity of studies regarding its application among junior high school students. This study employed a qualitative case study methodology, using interviews and document analyses of social studies educators in Jakarta. The results showed that Teachers' successful use of Trello was hindered by inadequate knowledge, poor digital infrastructure, and difficulties integrating it into the curriculum. Still, teachers stayed open to the adjustments given direction and assistance. This study proposes enhancing teachers' digital literacy and offering continuous training as a preliminary measure to optimize the use of Trello in social studies education in junior high schools.
