Abstract:Cardiovascular disease remains a leading cause of death both globally and nationally, with Low Density Lipoprotein(LDL) levels serving as a key biochemical indicator in the screening and management of heart disease. Accurate…
rate LDL testing requires adherence to pre-analytical procedures, particularly fasting for 10-12 hours. This study aimed to describe LDL levels and fasting compliance among outpatient cardiac patients at RSU Prima Medika Denpasar. A descriptive cross-sectional design was used with purposive sampling, involving 35 cardiac outpatients from February to March 2025. Data were collected through interviews and laboratory examinations using the Furuno CA-270 device. Results showed that 71% of respondents had LDL levels >100 mg/dL, indicating high levels, while 29% hadnormal levels (<100 mg/dL). All respondents (100%) complied with the fasting requirement. These findings indicate that high LDL levels are still commonly found among outpatient cardiac patients, particularly in productive-age males. The high level of fasting compliance reflects the effectiveness of pre-analytical patient education. This study emphasizes the importance of routine lipid screening and continuous education to enhance laboratory diagnostic accuracy and prevent cardiovascular complications.
Abstract:Allah created Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) not without purpose or intention. It was not merely to make the earth more vibrant, but the primary purpose was to appoint Adam (peace be upon him) as a khalifah—a leader on…
on earth. The role of a leader is to organize, manage, protect, preserve, and utilize all the resources that Allah has provided on this earth for the benefit and well-being of humankind. To fulfill his responsibilities as a leader, Allah prepared and equipped Adam (peace be upon him) with intellect and knowledge . ing variable. The study utilizes a qualitative approach by synthesizing findings from national and international journals published in the past 10–15 years. The results indicate that emotional intelligence enables employees to adapt and interact effectively in the workplace, servant leadership fosters a supportive and empowering work climate, and organizational commitment enhances loyalty and proactive behavior. Furthermore, OCB plays a significant mediating role by reinforcing the relationship between these three variables and career development outcomes. Employees who display high OCB are more likely to gain recognition, trust, and career advancement opportunities. This study highlights the importance of a holistic approach in career development by integrating individual competencies, leadership styles, and affective organizational engagement. Practical implications suggest the need for organizational initiatives that strengthen emotional intelligence, servant leadership, and supportive organizational culture to foster sustainable employee career progression.
Abstract:Pain in breast cancer is one of the most common and significant problems experienced by patients. If not properly managed, the impact of breast cancer pain can lead to increased morbidity and a diminished quality of life.…
. This study aims to determine the effect of Benson relaxation on pain levels in breast cancer patients. A quantitative research method was employed using a pre-experimental one-group pre-test and post-test design. The sample consisted of 17 patients selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). The average pain score of respondents during the first measurement (pre-test) was 6.12, and during the second measurement (post-test) it decreased to 3.12. The difference in average pain levels between the first and second measurements showed a reduction of 3.00 points. The statistical test results revealed an Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) p-value of 0.000, indicating a significant effect of Benson relaxation on reducing pain in breast cancer patients. Benson relaxation can significantly help lower pain levels after therapy. This relaxation technique plays an important role by inhibiting sympathetic nerve activity, which in turn reduces oxygen consumption by the body and relaxes the muscles, leading to a sense of calm and comfort.
Abstract:This study analyzes the competing interests within the Kartu Petani Berjaya (KPB) policy as part of efforts to promote sustainable community-based agricultural development in Lampung Province. The KPB program was launched…
d with the goal of improving farmers' welfare through digitally integrated agricultural services. However, initial observations indicate resistance from some farmers and signs of political interest dominance in both the formulation and implementation processes. The study aims to identify the political motives behind the policy, the sustainability of the program, farmers' literacy regarding the E-KPB system, and the extent to which the program empowers farmers and engages stakeholders. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with thematic analysis and source triangulation techniques, data were collected through in-depth interviews with academics and government officials, as well as document studies. The findings reveal that the dominance of regional leaders in decision-making has led to a program orientation that is more symbolic and electoral in nature. The dynamics of competing interests emerge both vertically and horizontally, resulting in weak coordination and reduced policy effectiveness. The transition from KPB to E-KPB has also shifted the program’s focus and reduced its tangible benefits for farmers. The study recommends strengthening multi-stakeholder collaborative governance in agricultural policy, reevaluating the structure of the E-KPB system, and actively involving academics and farmer associations. These findings contribute theoretically to the study of public policy and policy framing, and practically to improving the implementation of programs based on the real needs of farming communities.
