The review includes the history of the policy, starting from Law No. 4 of 1950 to the launch of the program by President Soeharto in 1984, as well as the influence of political interests and the modernization of Islamic education in the National Education System Law. The implementation of the policy involves a shared responsibility between the government, parents, and the community. Although it has been running, challenges such as low awareness of education and family economic conditions are still obstacles. Therefore, collaborative efforts and adequate funding are needed to ensure the provision of quality basic education, as well as open alternative education pathways. Sustainable policies such as the 12-year compulsory education program are expected to strengthen the foundation of education and increase access for future generations

Abstract:Sunnah cupping (hijamah) is a therapeutic practice rooted in Islamic tradition and widely acknowledged for its health benefits. However, improper sterilization of cupping instruments poses a significant risk of blood-borne…
ne infections such as hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV. This study aims to explore the importance of equipment sterilization in sunnah cupping using a literature review approach. The method involves systematic thematic analysis of publications from 2010–2025 covering medical science, Islamic bioethics, and traditional health practices. Findings reveal that proper sterilization is crucial to preventing cross-contamination, and it aligns with Islamic ethical imperatives based on la darar wa la dirar and hifzh al-nafs. The discussion emphasizes the integration of Islamic values with modern medical standards and calls for structured education, practitioner training, and regulatory oversight. In conclusion, sterilization in sunnah cupping is not merely a technical requirement but a moral and religious obligation to ensure patient safety and uphold the integrity of prophetic medicine in the modern healthcare system.
Abstract:Sunnah cupping therapy is widely recognized as a traditional treatment believed to eliminate stagnant blood, enhance circulation, and accelerate healing. However, concerns remain regarding wound depth and skin recovery duration,…
uration, especially in clinical settings. This study aims to systematically review scientific literature on the healing duration of superficial wounds resulting from cupping, factors influencing recovery, and the effectiveness of herbal topical treatments in supporting natural skin regeneration. A systematic literature review was conducted using publications from 2015 to 2025 sourced from PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. The analysis focused on non-surgical superficial wounds, post-cupping wound management, and the use of olive oil, black seed oil, and coconut oil in complementary traditional therapy. Findings indicate that cupping incisions typically reach only the epidermis and upper dermis, with a depth of 0.5–1 mm. These minor wounds generally heal within 3 to 7 days, depending on patient age, skin condition, anatomical location, and aftercare quality. The application of topical herbal agents has been shown to enhance healing through anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and regenerative mechanisms. In conclusion, Sunnah cupping can be classified as a safe and non-invasive therapy with a relatively short healing duration. Herbal-based wound care offers a natural, accessible, and effective treatment alternative, supporting the integration of cupping therapy into modern evidence-based complementary medicine. Further development of standardized post-cupping care protocols is recommended to optimize clinical implementation and ensure consistent patient outcomes.

gical advances and complex social needs. Employing a literature review methodology, this research investigates the influence of these practices on mental health and behavioral implications. The selection of peer-reviewed articles published within the last ten years involved databases like PubMed and Google Scholar with keywords related to Islamic spirituality and mental health. This method allowed a comprehensive analysis of contemporary studies, focusing on the therapeutic benefits of tawakal and dzikir in clinical settings. Results indicate that tawakal significantly reduces anxiety by fostering a relinquishing of control and instilling peace of mind, while dzikir enhances emotional stability through its meditative repetition of sacred phrases, promoting relaxation and reducing stress responses. Both practices not only support spiritual well-being but also offer practical coping mechanisms in stressful situations. The conclusion underlines the potential integration of tawakal and dzikir into conventional psychotherapeutic practices. It suggests further exploration into the incorporation of these spiritual elements within mental health frameworks to enhance therapeutic outcomes and patient recovery. This research contributes to the broader discourse on the intersection of spirituality and psychology, highlighting the relevance of traditional spiritual practices in contemporary mental health paradigms.

research analyzes the gap between food production and demand, identifying key commodities such as rice, corn, and soybeans. By evaluating the availability, accessibility, and affordability of these staple foods, the study investigates how local agricultural practices, infrastructure, and external factors like climate change and market volatility affect food security in the region. The findings reveal significant challenges in meeting the demand for rice and soybeans, despite the province's ability to achieve a surplus in corn production. The methodology employed in this study involves both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Primary data was gathered through field surveys, interviews with local farmers, agricultural experts, and policymakers, as well as secondary data from government reports, agricultural statistics, and market analyses. A comparative analysis was conducted to examine trends in food production, consumption patterns, and price fluctuations over the past five years. The study also incorporated geographic information system (GIS) mapping to assess the distribution of agricultural resources and the effectiveness of existing infrastructure in connecting farmers to markets. The findings suggest that despite the province's agricultural potential, South Sulawesi continues to face challenges in achieving full food self-sufficiency. The study recommends a multifaceted approach to addressing food insecurity and achieving food self-sufficiency, including improving rural infrastructure, adopting modern agricultural technologies, and diversifying food crops.
Abstract:This research aims to explore the reconstruction of mawaris law in Islam in the modern context, especially by considering the principle of gender equality without abandoning sharia values. The research method used is qualitative,…
litative, with textual analysis of mawaris verses in the Qur'an, Hadith, and the study of the theory of maqaṣid shari'ah. Case studies in several Muslim countries were also conducted to assess the implementation of modified mawaris laws within the national legal framework. The results of the study show that mawaris law, although textual in the Qur'an, provides space for reinterpretation through the maqaṣid shari'ah approach. This approach emphasizes aspects of justice, benefit, and equality that are in line with Islamic values. The study also found that the reconstruction of mawaris law can support the strengthening of women's position in the family and society without eliminating the principle of justice that is the core of sharia. This study concludes that mawaris law can be adapted to the modern context through reinterpretation based on maqaṣid shari'ah. Thus, this reconstruction not only answers the challenges of the modern era but also maintains the relevance of Islamic law as a universal guideline.
Abstract:Mediation is an alternative method of dispute resolution that is increasingly being used in the modern legal system. This process prioritizes dialogue between the disputing parties to reach an agreement without resorting…
to litigation. In mediation, ethics plays an important role in maintaining fairness, confidentiality and professionalism, both by the mediator and by the advocates involved. Advocates have a strategic role in mediation, namely as legal advisors who provide direction to their clients, and ensure that the mediation process runs in accordance with existing ethical principles. Advocates also function to maintain the integrity and confidentiality of information obtained during mediation, as well as ensuring that clients are not pressured into accepting detrimental agreements. In this paper, we discuss the importance of ethics in mediation, the challenges faced, and the vital role of advocates in ensuring fair and effective dispute resolution. By paying attention to ethics in mediation, it is hoped that the dispute resolution process can take place more transparently, efficiently and fairly for all parties involved.
