basra, Basrawati, Munirah, Haslinda
Abstract: This research aims to develop Indonesian learning tools based on the Deep Learning approach to improve critical thinking skills and mastery of language concepts of elementary school students. The research was carried out… ut at SDN 16 Bangkala, Jeneponto Regency, in the odd semester of the 2025/2026 school year with 25 subjects in grade IV. The development model used is the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The validation results of three experts showed that the teaching modules developed were classified as very valid with an average feasibility level of 89%. The implementation of learning using Deep Learning syntax (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate) shows an increase in student activity and involvement in the learning process. Based on the results of the data analysis, the average value of critical thinking skills increased from 61.2 to 83.6 with an N-Gain of 0.58 (medium-high category), while the mastery of language concepts increased from 63.4 to 86.8 with an N-Gain of 0.63 (high category). The results of the t-test showed p < 0.05 which means that there was a significant increase after the implementation of Deep Learning-based learning. Thus, it can be concluded that the Indonesian teaching module based on the Deep Learning approach is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills and mastery of language concepts. This approach is able to create learning that is aware, meaningful, and fun, and in line with the principles of the Independent Curriculum which emphasizes differentiated and student-centered learning.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENTAL INFLUENCES ON SILICOSIS: A NARRATIVE REVIEW INTEGRATING COMMUNITY EXPOSURE AND WISTAR RAT EXPERIMENTAL FINDINGS IN COAL-HANDLING REGIONS

Mustika Fatimah, Irsan Saleh, Susila Arita, Legiran
Abstract: Coal mining, handling, and transportation activities are major sources of airborne particulate matter containing respirable crystalline silica, which poses significant risks to respiratory health. Silicosis remains a serious… ious occupational and environmental disease affecting not only workers but also communities living near coal-handling areas. Physical environmental factors, including air quality, temperature, humidity, and wind speed, play an important role in influencing dust generation, dispersion, and inhalation exposure. This narrative review aims to synthesize current evidence on the influence of physical environmental conditions on silica exposure and silicosis development, integrating findings from environmental monitoring studies, epidemiological research, and experimental Wistar rat models. A literature search was conducted using major scientific databases to identify relevant peer-reviewed articles published between 2010 and 2024. The reviewed evidence indicates that prolonged or high-intensity exposure to silica dust is strongly associated with chronic pulmonary inflammation and progressive fibrosis. Environmental conditions can exacerbate exposure risk by increasing airborne particulate concentrations and respiratory vulnerability. Experimental studies using Wistar rats provide mechanistic insights into silica-induced lung injury, supporting epidemiological observations in human populations. This review highlights the importance of integrating environmental, occupational, and biological perspectives to improve risk prediction, early detection, and preventive strategies for silicosis in coal-handling regions.

THE MEDIATING ROLE OF FINANCIAL LITERACY ON THE EFFECT OF FINANCIAL ATTITUDE AND ACCOUNTING INFORMATION SYSTEMS ON BUSINESS SUSTAAINAABILITY ( A STUDY OF MSMEs IN GORONTALO CITY)

Lutfiah Wanda Hiola, Tri Handayani Amaliah, Usman
Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of financial attitude and accounting information systems on business sustainability, with financial literacy as a mediating variable, among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)… s) in Gorontalo City. This research adopts a quantitative approach using a causal survey design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 MSME owners in Gorontalo City and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that financial attitude has a positive and significant effect on business sustainability. Meanwhile, accounting information systems do not have a significant direct effect on business sustainability. Furthermore, financial literacy is not able to mediate the relationship between financial attitude and business sustainability. However, financial literacy significantly mediates the relationship between accounting information systems and business sustainability. These findings suggest that business sustainability among MSMEs is strongly influenced by internal financial behavior and competencies. Financial literacy plays a crucial role in transforming accounting information into meaningful managerial decisions that support long-term business sustainability. This study contributes to the Resource-Based View (RBV) theory by highlighting financial literacy as a strategic intangible resource for MSMEs.

Azzahra Talitha Noer Nanlohy, Niswatin, Yustina Hiola
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of company size, Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Return on Equity (ROE) on the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) of food and beverage manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock… Exchange (IDX) during the period 2019-2024. This research adopts a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis processed using SPSS. The sample of the study consists of 18 companies that meet the purposive sampling criteria. The results show that company size has a positive and significant effect on the Dividend Payout Ratio. However, Debt to Equity Ratio and Return on Equity do not have a significant effect on Dividend Payout Ratio, either partially or simultaneously. These findings suggest that other factors, beyond company size, play a more significant role in influencing dividend policies in the food and beverage manufacturing sector in Indonesia.

ANALYSIS OF THE COMPANY'S FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE BEFORE AND AFTER THE CONSUMER BOYCOTT CAMPAIGN (CASE STUDY OF PT. MAPB TBK) PERIOD 2022 – 2024

Victorson Taruh, Nurharyati Panigoro, Sisna Meamogu, Yusuf Abdul Wahid
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the differences in the financial performance of PT MAP Boga Adiperkasa Tbk (MAPB) before and after the consumer boycott campaign in the 2022–2024 period. The boycott campaign triggered by global… bal geopolitical issues has an impact on the decline of the company's social legitimacy, thus affecting profitability and financial stability. The research method uses a descriptive quantitative approach through the analysis of annual financial statements processed using profitability ratios. The results show a significant downward trend in the entire profitability ratio from 2022 to 2024. In 2022, the entire ratio was in a positive condition, but declined sharply in 2023 and turned negative in 2024; NPM from 4.26% to −4.53%, ROA from 5.67% to −4.93%, ROE from 12.45% to −9.45%, and ROI from 8.37% to −4.87%. These findings indicate that boycott campaigns have a significant effect on declining profitability and show the loss of corporate social legitimacy in the eyes of the public according to the perspective of legitimacy theory.

A PLISSIT-BASED COMPREHENSIVE SEXUAL EDUCATION INTERVENTION ON ATTITUDES TOWARDS HIV TRANSMISSION PREVENTION IN ADOLESCENTS: A GENDER EQUALITY PERSPECTIVE

Nirwanto K. Rahim, Erwin Purwanto
Abstract: Adolescents are a vulnerable group to the risks of sexual violence and HIV transmission due to limited sexual literacy, insufficient access to accurate reproductive health information, and strong socio-cultural taboos surrounding… rrounding sexuality. Comprehensive interventions are needed to equip adolescents with adequate knowledge, attitudes, and gender-sensitive decision-making skills. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of a PLISSIT-based Comprehensive Sexual Education intervention in improving adolescents’ attitudes toward HIV transmission prevention from a gender equality perspective. This quasi-experimental study involved 100 students selected through simple random sampling and divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group received four PLISSIT-based educational sessions integrating gender equality principles, while the control group received conventional sexual education. Data were collected using pre- and post-test questionnaires and analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The results showed a substantial improvement in adolescents’ attitudes after the intervention. Prior to the intervention, only 18% of students demonstrated good attitudes toward HIV prevention, while 82% were categorized as poor. After the intervention, 90% of students in the experimental group showed good attitudes, and only 10% remained in the poor category, with a statistically significant difference (p = 0.001). These findings indicate that the PLISSIT-based comprehensive sexual education model is effective in shaping positive attitudes by providing a safe space for discussion, relevant information, and gender-responsive guidance. In conclusion, the PLISSIT-based intervention significantly enhances adolescents’ attitudes toward HIV prevention and can serve as a strategic approach in school-based reproductive health education.
