EXPLORING PERSONAL INNOVATIVENESS AS A DRIVING FACTOR IN THE TECHNOLOGY ACCEPTANCE MODEL FOR MYTELKOMSEL IMPROVING

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the role of Personal Innovativeness in influencing the actual use of the MyTelkomsel application through an extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). In this model, Personal Innovativeness is… positioned as a core construct that influences three key user perceptions: Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, and Perceived Enjoyment. A total of 355 respondents participated in the study, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that seven out of eight hypothesized paths between constructs in the model demonstrate statistically significant effects. The only non-significant relationship is found between Perceived Ease of Use and Attitude Toward Use, suggesting that ease of use is no longer a major determinant of user attitudes toward digital applications, possibly because it is now perceived as a basic standard in technology usage. Conversely, Personal Innovativeness consistently exerts a significant influence on all three key perceptions, which in turn affect users’ attitudes, intentions, and actual behaviors. These results underscore the strategic role of innovative personal characteristics in driving adoption and active engagement with digital applications. The practical implications highlight the importance of user segmentation based on innovation levels, the development of enjoyable features, and the refinement of user experience to promote sustained engagement within digital ecosystems such as MyTelkomsel.

THE PLASTIC WASTE CRISIS IN INDONESIA AND THAILAND: CHALLENGES, ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS, AND SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS

Abstract: The plastic waste crisis in Indonesia and Thailand is one of the biggest environmental challenges in Southeast Asia, triggered by increased plastic consumption due to urbanization, economic growth and modern lifestyles.… This study aims to analyze the challenges, environmental impacts, and sustainable solutions related to plastic waste management in both countries. The method used is qualitative analysis based on secondary data from scientific literature, reports of international institutions. The results show that Indonesia faces serious problems in plastic waste management that cause marine pollution to other countries, while Thailand struggles with the high volume of domestic and imported plastic waste. The resulting environmental impacts include damage to marine ecosystems, threats to biodiversity, and human health risks from microplastics. Recommended solutions include the implementation of national regulations that support sustainability principles, 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) strategies, promotion of eco-friendly packaging, and public education to reduce the use of single-use plastics. The study concludes that regional collaboration among ASEAN countries is needed to effectively address the plastic waste crisis to protect ecosystems and human health in the long term.

THE DETERMINATION OF STATE BASELINES POST-PEAT ABRASION ON BENGKALIS ISLAND AS INDONESIA'S FOREMOST ISLAND IN TERMS OF INTERNATIONAL LAW OF THE SEA PERSPECTIVE

Abstract: Coastal abrasion is a growing global concern, particularly for Indonesia, a country with one of the longest coastlines in the world. Abrasion poses significant challenges to coastal ecosystems and the livelihoods of local… l communities. Bengkalis Island, one of Indonesia's outermost and foremost islands, has experienced intensified abrasion in recent decades. Located in Riau Province and facing the Strait of Malacca, this peat-contoured island serves as a basepoint for Indonesia's archipelagic baselines. This research aims to: (1) analyze the legal implications of peat erosion on Indonesia's baselines post-erosion, and (2) describe the Indonesian government's efforts to address the issue.  This normative legal research examines the synchronization between national regulations and international standards regarding peatland conservation and erosion mitigation, particularly in strategically important foremost islands. The study reveals two key findings. First, peat abrasion on Bengkalis Island has serious legal implications for determining Indonesia's archipelagic baselines and maritime boundaries under UNCLOS 1982. Abrasion also threatens the island's status as an outermost and foremost island, potentially leading to the loss of Indonesia's rights over natural resources in the area. Failure to protect peat ecosystems may be considered a violation of Indonesia's international obligations to preserve marine and wetland environments under UNCLOS 1982 and the Ramsar Convention. Second, the Indonesian government has implemented legal and technical measures, such as issuing Government Regulation No. 57 of 2016 on Peat Ecosystem Protection and Management, constructing breakwaters, planting mangroves, and implementing the 3R program (Rewetting, Revegetation, and Revitalization) through the Peat and Mangrove Restoration Agency (BRGM). These efforts have shown positive results in reducing erosion rates and protecting coastalines.

This study is qualitative with a descriptive-analytical… al design that aims to explore in depth the views and experiences of Malay society in managing ecosystems, the role of women, and the impact of global culture. This study also explores the potential of Malay ecotourism as a tool to strengthen ecological sustainability and community economic empowerment, amidst the flow of globalization that brings significant changes to local cultural and economic values. The research methods used include in-depth interviews, participant observation, and surveys to obtain data from Malay society involved in ecotourism activities. The results of the study are expected to provide insight into how ecology and feminism are interconnected in maintaining cultural and environmental sustainability, and how the impact of globalization affects Malay cultural identity.

Karakteristik Morfologi Jamur Makroskopis Yang Tumbuh Pada Serasah Daun Di Hutan UIN Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi

Abstract: Jamur makroskopis berperan penting sebagai dekomposer dalam ekosistem hutan, namun data morfologinya di kawasan hutan kampus masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan karakteristik morfologi… fologi jamur makroskopis pada substrat serasah daun di kawasan hutan UIN Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif eksploratif dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui teknik purposive sampling pada tiga stasiun pengamatan. Hasil penelitian menemukan enam morfotipe jamur, yaitu Leucocoprinus sp., Clavulina sp., Marasmius sp. (dua morfotipe), Mycena sp., dan Coltricia sp. Variasi morfologi meliputi bentuk, warna, tekstur tudung, karakteristik stipe, dan tipe himenofor sebagai bentuk adaptasi terhadap mikrohabitat serasah daun. Penelitian ini menyediakan data dasar keanekaragaman jamur lokal serta menunjukkan potensi biodiversitas jamur di kawasan hutan kampus. Macroscopic fungi play an important role as decomposers in forest ecosystems, yet information on their morphology in campus forests remains limited. This study aimed to identify and describe the morphological characteristics of macroscopic fungi growing on leaf litter in the forest area of UIN Sultan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi. A descriptive exploratory method with a qualitative approach and purposive sampling was employed. Six fungal morphotypes were identified: Leucocoprinus sp., Clavulina sp., Marasmius sp. (two morphotypes), Mycena sp., and Coltricia sp. Morphological variations included cap shape, color, texture, stipe characteristics, and hymenophore type, reflecting adaptation to leaf litter microhabitats. The findings provide baseline data on local fungal biodiversity and demonstrate the biodiversity potential of the campus forest.

Strategi Budidaya Tanaman Pangan di Wilayah Kawasan Hutan Dengan Tujuan Khusus (KHDTK) Bukit Soedirman

Abstract: Abstract: Forests serve as vital supports ecosystems and hold significant economic value. Complete reliance on forests as livelihoods threatens their ecological functions. Karang Jengkol Village hosts the Special Purpose… Forest Area (KHDTK) managed by Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed). Field observations revealed several challenges faced by farmer groups living around the forest. A key issue is limited knowledge of food crop cultivation, causing ongoing forest land conversion. To address this problem, the transfer of knowledge regarding cultivation practices of food crops in forest areas is required, particularly through regulatory outreach activities. Activities used extension, active learning, and mentoring, targeting PKK members and KTH Cemara Soedirman farmers. Following the outreach activities, the community demonstrated improved understanding of the three–four strata planting system. Based on evaluation results, prior to the program most respondents (88.24% or 15 individuals) exhibited low levels of knowledge, while 11.27% (2 individuals) had moderate understanding. After the program, the number of respondents with moderate understanding increased to 5 individuals (29.41%), and those with high levels of understanding rose significantly from 0% to 12 individuals (70.59%). Keywords: forest farmers group; KHDTK Unsoed; planting pattern; special purpose forest area   Abstrak: Hutan tidak hanya berperan sebagai penopang ekosistem, tetapi juga memiliki nilai ekonomi yang penting. Jika masyarakat sepenuhnya bergantung pada hutan sebagai sumber mata pencaharian utama, fungsi hutan sebangai penyangga ekosistem dapat terancam.  Desa Karang Jengkol merupakan lokasi di mana Kawasan Hutan Dengan Tujuan Khusus (KHDTK) Unsoed berada. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan di lapangan, ditemukan beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh kelompok tani di sekitar hutan. Salah satu di antaranya adalah kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai teknik budidaya tanaman pangan di kawasan hutan, yang menyebabkan terjadinya alih fungsi lahan hutan secara berkelanjutan. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, diperlukan transfer pengetahuan tentang pola budidaya tanaman pangan di area hutan melalui kegiatan transfer pengetahuan pola tanam tiga atau empat strata. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan metode penyuluhan, pembelajaran aktif dan pendampingan dengan Masyarakat sasaran yaitu ibu-ibu PKK dan petani KTH Cemara Soedirman.  Setelah kegiatan sosialisasi dilaksanakan, masyarakat menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman terhadap konsep pola tanam 3–4 strata. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, sebelum kegiatan mayoritas responden (88,24% atau 15 orang) memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang rendah, sementara 11,27% (2 orang) berada pada tingkat pemahaman sedang. Setelah kegiatan berlangsung, jumlah responden dengan pemahaman sedang meningkat menjadi 5 orang (29,41%), dan yang memiliki pemahaman tinggi bertambah signifikan dari 0% menjadi 12 orang (70,59%). Pelatihan Konservasi Terumbu Karang Untuk Berkelanjutan Ekosistem Laut Pada Kabupaten Simeulue

Abstract: Most of the Simeulue population depends on marine products for their livelihoods. However, the use of bombs in fishing has posed a serious threat to the sustainability of fish resources, which are crucial assets for the… community's welfare. The practice of fishing with bombs not only damages marine habitats, including coral reefs, but also threatens the sustainability of fish resources in the future. If allowed to continue, this can harm marine ecosystems and jeopardize the sustainability of the local economy. To address this problem, training and implementing coral reef conservation using the Coral Adoption method is crucial. This initiative, which involves the Simeulue Regency government, Simeulue Police, and TNI, focuses on the community, especially fishermen. The Coral Adoption method is a marine environmental rehabilitation technique that aims to conserve marine biota, accelerate coral reef growth, and restore threatened ecosystems. The training provides participants with knowledge about the negative impacts of fish bombing and the importance of marine environmental rehabilitation. It also empowers them to stop such destructive practices. Furthermore, participants recognize the long-term impacts of fish bombing on their socio-economic aspects, which ultimately increases their commitment to preserving the marine environment for a better future.             Keywords: fish bomb; coral reef; fishing; fisherman   Abstrak: Sebagian besar penduduk Simeulue bergantung pada hasil laut untuk mata pencaharian mereka. Namun, penggunaan bom dalam penangkapan ikan telah menimbulkan ancaman serius terhadap kelestarian sumber daya ikan yang menjadi aset penting bagi kesejahteraan masyarakat. Praktik penangkapan ikan dengan bom tidak hanya merusak habitat laut, termasuk terumbu karang, tetapi juga mengancam keberlanjutan sumber daya ikan di masa depan. Jika dibiarkan berlanjut, hal ini dapat berdampak buruk pada ekosistem laut dan mengancam keberlanjutan ekonomi lokal. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, pelatihan dan penerapan konservasi terumbu karang dengan metode Rock Pile menjadi sangat penting. Pelatihan ini, yang melibatkan pihak pemerintah Kabupaten Simeulue, Polres Simeulue, dan TNI, difokuskan pada masyarakat, terutama nelayan. Rock Pile adalah teknik rehabilitasi lingkungan laut yang bertujuan untuk melestarikan biota laut, mempercepat pertumbuhan terumbu karang, dan memulihkan ekosistem yang terancam. Manfaat dari pelatihan ini, peserta tidak hanya memperoleh pengetahuan tentang dampak buruk pengeboman ikan dan pentingnya rehabilitasi lingkungan laut, tetapi juga menjadi lebih percaya diri dalam menghentikan praktik destruktif tersebut. Selain itu, mereka menyadari dampak jangka panjang pengeboman ikan terhadap aspek sosial ekonomi mereka, yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan komitmen mereka untuk melestarikan lingkungan laut demi masa depan yang lebih baik. This makes PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia Subregional Bali Nusra to hold the Implementation of Environmental Management and Monitoring (RKL-RPL) PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 3 Subregional Bali Nusra is a form of Pelindo's contribution in preserving and maintaining the health of the environment around the company and the environment affected by the company's operational and construction activities. Environmental preservation activities are of course supported by the budget or environmental costs provided by the company. Environmental accounting is one way to record environmental costs within the company. The method used is the descriptive qualitative method. The results obtained are that Environmental Management and Monitoring are greatly influenced by the amount of the existing budget, Pelindo has implemented environmental accounting reporting which contains environmental costs, fuel costs, electricity costs, water costs, costs for the use of raw material emissions, B3 waste handling costs, and biodiversity Kata kunci: environmental costs; environmental accounting   Abstract: Pembangunan dan pengembangan pelabuhan di PT. Hal itu, membuat PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia Subregional Bali Nusra untuk mengadakan Pelaksanaan Pengelolaan dan Pemantauan Lingkungan (RKL-RPL) PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) Regional 3 Subregional Bali Nusra merupakan bentuk kontribusi Pelindo dalam melestarikan dan menjaga kesehatan lingkungan di sekitar perusahaan dan lingkungan yang terkena dampak dari kegiatan operasional dan konstruksi perusahan. Kegiatan pelestarian lingkungan tentunya didukung oleh anggaran atau biaya lingkungan yang diberikan oleh perusahaan. Akuntansi lingkungan merupakan salah satu cara pencatatan biaya lingkungan di dalam perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode kualitatif deskriptif. INTUITIVE UI DESIGN FOR MANGROVE TREE DETECTION APP

Abstract: Abstract: The rapid degradation of mangrove ecosystems threatens coastal biodiversity, shoreline stability, and carbon sequestration capacity, particularly in areas experiencing intense human activity. However, community-based… -based participatory mangrove monitoring remains limited due to the lack of accessible and user-friendly digital tools. This study aims to design an intuitive mobile application for mangrove tree detection and participatory ecological monitoring using a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach. The research was conducted iteratively through user needs analysis, prototype development, and usability evaluation involving local governments, conservation practitioners, and non-expert users. The proposed application integrates machine learning for automated mangrove recognition with geospatial visualization and real-time feedback to support field-based monitoring. Usability evaluation using the System Usability Scale (SUS) yielded an overall score of 82.3, categorized as excellent usability, indicating high user satisfaction and intuitive interaction. The results demonstrate that integrating UCD and machine learning enhances usability, user engagement, and the accuracy of mangrove documentation under real field conditions. Overall, this study presents a field-ready, user-centered mobile solution that bridges usability engineering and participatory mangrove monitoring as a replicable model for inclusive ecological application development.   Keywords: Carbon sequestration; mangrove monitoring; mobile application; user-centered design; usability evaluation   Abstrak: Degradasi ekosistem mangrove yang semakin cepat mengancam keanekaragaman hayati pesisir, stabilitas garis pantai, dan kapasitas sekuestrasi karbon, terutama di wilayah dengan aktivitas manusia yang intens. Namun, pemantauan mangrove secara partisipatif berbasis komunitas masih terbatas akibat kurangnya perangkat digital yang mudah diakses dan ramah pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang aplikasi mobile yang intuitif untuk deteksi pohon mangrove dan pemantauan ekologi partisipatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan User-Centered Design (UCD). Penelitian dilakukan secara iteratif melalui analisis kebutuhan pengguna, pengembangan prototipe, dan evaluasi kegunaan dengan melibatkan pemerintah daerah, praktisi konservasi, serta pengguna non-ahli. Aplikasi yang diusulkan mengintegrasikan pembelajaran mesin untuk pengenalan mangrove secara otomatis dengan visualisasi geospasial dan umpan balik waktu nyata guna mendukung pemantauan di lapangan. Evaluasi kegunaan menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) menghasilkan skor keseluruhan sebesar 82,3 yang termasuk dalam kategori kegunaan sangat baik, menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan pengguna yang tinggi dan interaksi yang intuitif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi UCD dan pembelajaran mesin meningkatkan kegunaan, keterlibatan pengguna, serta akurasi dokumentasi mangrove dalam kondisi lapangan. Analisis Keanekaragaman Hayati: Peluang Agroforestri dalam Mengatasi Perubahan Iklim di Dulamayo, Gorontalo, Indonesia

Abstract: The challenges posed by climate change and the decline of biodiversity to the sustainability of global agricultural systems are serious.Agroforestry has emerged as a strategy with the potential to enhance the resilience… of agricultural systems while conserving biodiversity amidst the threats of climate change.This study aims to evaluate the potential of agroforestry to enhance biodiversity and the resilience of agricultural systems to climate change in Dulamayo, Gorontalo. The research methodology is based on vegetation analysis and the calculation of biodiversity indices, with data collection encompassing measurements of tree characteristics and species identification.The results indicate the presence of 17 tree species with a total of 154 individuals, where Candlenut (Aleurites molucana) and Sugar Palm (Arenga pinnata) dominate with proportions of 22.73% and 20.13%, respectively. The Shannon-Wiener diversity index yielded a moderate value (H' = 2.311) with a high evenness level (E = 0.816), indicating a high ecosystem stability.The findings suggest that the agroforestry system in Dulamayo plays a crucial role in supporting biodiversity and the resilience of ecosystems to climate change through its complex and diverse vegetation structure.
