Maulidia, Chentia, Jufri, Ali, Sylvani, Sylvani
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effects of liquidity, leverage, and BOPO on the profitability of energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2022–2024 period. Profitability is proxied by… by Return on Assets (ROA), liquidity by the Current Ratio (CR), leverage by the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and BOPO is measured by the ratio of Operating Expenses to Operating Income. This research employs a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The data used are secondary data in the form of companies’ annual financial statements obtained from the official IDX website, with the sampling technique using purposive sampling based on predetermined criteria. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of statistical software. The results show that liquidity does not always have a positive effect on profitability, leverage tends to have a negative effect on profitability, and BOPO has a negative effect on profitability. Simultaneously, liquidity, leverage, and BOPO significantly affect the profitability of energy sector companies during the 2022–2024 period. These findings indicate that optimal liquidity management, proportional use of debt, and operational cost efficiency are key factors in improving the profitability performance of energy sector companies.

Edies Rizqi Adelia, Maulida Afna Musoffa, Shinta Ester Debora, Muhammmad Zid, Wini Mustikarani
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the extent to which the Basic Competencies (KD) in Geography in the 2013 Curriculum contribute to strengthening students' spatial literacy. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with… h content analysis techniques on curriculum documents and source triangulation. The results showed that the Basic Competencies in Geography in grades X, XI, and XII have varying levels of strengthening spatial literacy. Grade X plays a role in building a foundation for spatial understanding related to geosphere phenomena. Grade XI strengthens understanding of spatial interactions through materials on resource distribution, population dynamics, and human-environment relationships. Meanwhile, grade XII is the level with the greatest contribution to spatial literacy through materials on remote sensing, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), rural-urban spatial patterns, and zoning. Although the structure of the Basic Competencies shows gradual development, it is not entirely consistent in demanding advanced spatial skills, especially at earlier levels. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening learning strategies and supporting school facilities to maximize the potential of Basic Competencies in building students' spatial literacy.

Hotimah, Oot, Adelia, Edies, Musoffa, Maulida, Debora, Shinta
Abstract: Flooding is a natural phenomenon that can cause disasters for humans, especially in Indonesia and the Philippines, which often experience significant impacts on the economy, transportation, and social life. This research… aims to analyze the factors that cause flooding in both countries, compare the management policies implemented, and provide recommendations for improved mitigation. The method used is a literature review to collect and analyze various scientific sources. The results show that in Indonesia, factors causing flooding include land subsidence, land use change, and climate change, while in the Philippines, flooding is often triggered by tropical storms and extreme rainfall. Indonesia's response strategy focuses on river normalization and drainage infrastructure, while the Philippines implements a National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan that covers prevention, preparedness, and rehabilitation. Despite these efforts, challenges such as urbanization and land acquisition still hamper the effectiveness of flood management. Recommendations include improving infrastructure, sustainable spatial planning, and community education.

Boling, Theresia Exanthi, Fauziah, An Nuril Maulida
Abstract: Science learning is very important in producing quality students, related to the nature of science. In the learning process, we must view science not only as a product such as facts, concepts, theories, or laws, but also… as scientific skills and attitudes. Mastery of science process skills (KPS) is much more crucial than just memorizing, because KPS gives students the opportunity to discover and develop facts and concepts, while building attitudes and values through the experiences they experience. KPS is a basic competency that is the main driver in supporting the discovery, development and mastery of scientific concepts by students. This research aims to determine the effect of the guided inquiry model as a solution to improve students' science process skills at one of the state junior high schools in Surabaya. This research uses a pre-experimental type of research and a One Group Pretest – Posttest research design. The research results show that the guided inquiry learning model has a positive effect on improving junior high school students' science process skills with an n-gain of 0.55 which is in the medium category

Alfahinsa, Muhammad Zaki Maulana, Fauziah, An Nuril Maulida
Abstract: This study was conducted to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in learning that applied guided inquiry assisted by simulation media on temperature and heat materials. This research was carried out on students… tudents in grade VII-G at UPT SMPN 18 Gresik by conducting pre-test activities, three learning treatments, and post-tests. The type of research used is pre-experimental research with a one group pretest posttest research design. The learning outcomes of students were measured by pretest and posttest questions with a sample of 31 students in this study which was measured by N-Gain analysis and to test the significance, the Wilcoxon test was used. The learning outcomes obtained by students have increased with an increase in N-Gain of 0.40 with a "Medium" interpretation. In addition, the results of the significance of the pretest and posttest scores showed a value of 0.000 (<0.05) which means that there was a significant increase in the pretest and posttest results.
