s several challenges, such as limited human resources, inadequate infrastructure, low community awareness, and insufficient promotion strategies. This study aims to analyze the role of the Tourism Office in optimizing destination management, identify influencing factors, and formulate strategic efforts towards sustainable tourism management. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with stakeholders (government, private sector, community, academia, and media), and document studies. The results show that the Tourism Office of Solok City plays a key role in four main functions: planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation. Programs conducted between 2021 and 2024 include destination development, tourism promotion, human resource capacity building, and cross-sector partnerships. Internal and external factors such as budget constraints, infrastructure limitations, community participation, and destination competitiveness influence management effectiveness. The implementation of Good Governance principles participation, transparency, accountability, and efficiency along with Destination Management approaches, has guided policy and program implementation. However, some aspects, particularly cross-sectoral integration and innovation in tourism promotion, still need improvement. This study concludes that strengthening stakeholder synergy and enhancing institutional capacity are crucial for optimizing sustainable destination management in Solok City
Abstract:Nori is a seaweed-based food that is favored by the Indonesian people, but its availability is still limited. Meanwhile, the abundant production of land kale (Ipomoea reptans) as a local vegetable has not been optimally…
utilized, resulting in low economic value and its potential as a food source has not been maximized. One solution to overcome this problem is to use organic land kale as an alternative ingredient for making nori. Organic land kale is known to have good nutritional content and is commonly consumed by the community. This study aims to determine the level of acceptance of analog nori made from organic land kale as a healthy snack through organoleptic tests. The method used was an experiment with a completely randomized design (CRD), consisting of 24 samples, 6 treatments, and 4 repetitions. The treatment given was carrageenan concentration (0%, 0.6%, 0.8%, 1%, 1.2%, and 1.4%) Data were analyzed using the Friedman Test to assess panelists' preferences for taste, color, aroma, and texture parameters. It can be concluded that the results show the addition of carrageenan at 1% produces analog nori with the highest level of acceptance, so it is considered the most optimal formulation.
Abstract:This study aims to analyze the management of batik as an educational tourism attraction based on local cultural values in Karanganyar Regency, with an emphasis on the involvement of the five key actors in the Penta Helix…
model—government, academia, business sector, community, and media. Karanganyar possesses rich cultural heritage in the form of batik, which holds significant potential to be developed into an educational tourism destination. However, its current management still faces various challenges. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, using in-depth interviews, field observations, and document studies for data collection. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis, referring to destination management theory (Cooper et al., 2008) and the concept of edu-tourism (Bodger, 1998). The results reveal that the management of batik educational tourism in Karanganyar has not yet been systematically integrated. Key issues identified include: (1) limited human resources with adequate competence, (2) conventional tourism practices, (3) lack of innovation in tourism product packaging, (4) insufficient institutional coordination and support, and (5) underdeveloped integration between cultural and educational tourism. While there is a strong commitment to cultural preservation from local communities and participation from business actors, structural support from the government and optimization of the media’s role require further enhancement. The implication of this research emphasizes the need for strengthened cross-sectoral collaboration through the Penta Helix framework, the formulation of specific policies for educational tourism development, as well as innovations in digital promotion and context-based cultural education curricula. This study is expected to serve as a reference for policymakers, tourism practitioners, and future researchers in promoting sustainable educational tourism rooted in local culture.

e of the Mataram Kingdom, both in tangible and intangible forms, and to assess its impact on the preservation and increasing accessibility of cultural information. The research method used is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the digitization of artifacts, manuscripts, historical sites, and historical narratives of the Mataram Kingdom has made a significant contribution to building public awareness of the importance of cultural preservation. This initiative also opens up opportunities for the development of culture-based ecotourism through digital media, such as applications, interactive websites, and augmented reality. However, challenges such as limited technology, funding, and human resources are still obstacles that need to be overcome through collaboration between the government, academics, cultural communities, and the private sector. Thus, digital transformation is an important means of maintaining the sustainability of the cultural heritage of the Mataram Kingdom in the modern era.

heories, offers a meaningful and engaging learning approach that fosters moral and spiritual development. Teachers play a critical role in selecting relevant stories and applying diverse techniques supported by multimedia to maximize student engagement and comprehension. Despite challenges such as limited instructional time, scarcity of quality materials, and fluctuating student attention, technological advancements present promising opportunities for digital and interactive storytelling. The successful integration of Islamic stories in the curriculum requires well-designed educational frameworks, teacher competencies, and continuous reflection and evaluation to cultivate ethical and religious values effectively among students.

egy in improving students’ reading comprehension, which focuses on literal meaning and descriptive text. This research used quasi-experimental research design involving an Experimental class and a control class. The sample of this research were students of VII B as the experimental class, which consisted of 31 students, and the students of VIII A as the control class, which consisted of 31 students. The data was collected through pre-test and post-test. The result confirmed that the mean score of the experimental class had increased from 44.87 to 73.83. On the other hand, in the control class, it has increased from 48.29 to 62.64. The result of the test was analyzed statistically by applying 0.05 level significance. The researcher found that the value of the t-counted was higher than the t-table (4.59 > 1.67). In the other words, the implementation of choral reading strategy can develop students’ reading comprehension of the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 13 Palu. This strategy has a significant impact on the English learning process, especially helping students in reading comprehension to find information about the text and understand the entire meaning of the text, so that students can practice choral reading as their independent reading comprehension strategy in the future

rs in implementing diagnostic assessments in accordance with the principles of the Independent Curriculum. This study also examines the factors that affect the success of the implementation of diagnostic assessments in the school. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires to the teachers and students involved. Data analysis was carried out thematically to obtain a holistic picture of the implementation of diagnostic assessments. The results of the study show that the implementation of diagnostic assessments at SMP Negeri 1 Watansoppeng is in accordance with the principles of the Independent Curriculum, although there are still some challenges. The main obstacles faced by teachers include the diversity of students' abilities, limited facilities and infrastructure, and teachers' inadequate understanding of diagnostic assessments. Factors that affect the implementation of diagnostic assessments include teacher readiness, school support, large number of students, and the diversity of student learning styles. This study suggests that more intensive training for teachers be carried out and the improvement of facilities that support diagnostic assessments so that the implementation of assessments is more effective and in accordance with the needs of students.
Abstract:Sunnah cupping therapy is widely recognized as part of prophetic medicine with spiritual and therapeutic benefits. However, its implementation often overlooks potential medical emergencies, especially when conducted without…
out proper safety protocols. This study aims to identify types of medical emergencies associated with sunnah cupping therapy through a critical literature review. A descriptive-qualitative approach was used, based on a systematic review of scientific publications from 2010 to 2024 obtained from databases such as PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. The results revealed seven major types of complications in cupping practice: infections (local to systemic), severe bleeding and hematoma, vasovagal and hypovolemic shock, allergic reactions, burns (in fire cupping), neurological responses (epilepsy), and dissociative psychological responses (possession). These complications are primarily caused by the lack of medical screening, limited practitioner training, and absence of emergency handling protocols. The study emphasizes the urgency of integrating Islamic ethical values with emergency medical standards in cupping practice. It recommends enhancing public education, practitioner certification, and clinical regulations to ensure patient safety.
Abstract: This study aims to examine the effectiveness of education in improving the welfare of coastal communities through sustainable management of marine resources in Kairatu Village, West Seram Regency, Maluku Province. The…
he research method used is a quantitative approach with survey techniques. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire distributed to 30 respondents who are coastal communities, supplemented by limited interviews to enrich the data. The analysis technique used is simple linear regression to determine the effect of the effectiveness of education (independent variable) on the level of welfare of coastal communities (dependent variable). The results of the analysis show that there is a strong, positive, and significant relationship between the effectiveness of education and community welfare, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.72. This means that 72% of the variation in coastal community welfare can be explained by the effectiveness of education, while the rest is influenced by other external factors. This study shows that education that is right on target, locally based, and contextual has a major contribution in increasing community capacity in managing marine resources sustainably. Therefore, strengthening education in coastal areas is an important strategy in efforts to improve the quality of life and empower the economy of coastal communities.
