CORRELATION BETWEEN HEMOGLOBIN A1c (HbA1c) LEVELS AND MICROALBUMINURIA IN DIABETES MELLITUS PATIENTS AT PRODIA SUNTER

Hemoglobin… n A1c and microalbuminuria are screening examinations used to detect the early onset of diabetic nephropathy. Diabetic nephropathy is defined as a clinical syndrome in diabetes mellitus patients characterized by persistent albuminuria, an irreversible decrease in glomerular filtration rate, and increased arterial blood pressure. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between Hemoglobin A1c and microalbuminuria in diabetes mellitus patients at Prodia Sunter. The research method used is quantitative analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The data collected were secondary data from the period of January–July 2024 with a total of 60 samples. Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling and met the inclusion criteria, namely patients over 60 years of age, Hemoglobin A1c value ≥7, diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, no history of thalassemia, and who had undergone Hemoglobin A1c and microalbuminuria examinations. The results of this study show a significant unidirectional positive relationship with a very strong correlation between Hemoglobin A1c levels and microalbuminuria in diabetes mellitus patients, with sig (2-tailed) = 0.000 and correlation coefficient value = 0.892. The relationship between Hemoglobin A1c levels and microalbuminuria is unidirectional positive, meaning that the higher the Hemoglobin A1c levels, the higher the microalbuminuria levels.

CORRELATION BETWEEN DENGUE ANTIBODIES IGM AND IGG WITH LYMPHOCYTE COUNT IN PATIENTS WITH SUSPECTED DENGUE FEVER

Abstract: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by the Dengue virus transmitted to humans through the bite of the Aedes aegypti and Aedes albocpitus mosquitoes. One of the laboratory tests that can help diagnose Dengue… e fever includes Dengue IgM and IgG Antigens and hematology tests. The number of lymphocytes plays a role in the body's immune system and is one of the parameters found in hematology tests. This study aims to determine the relationship between Dengue IgM and IgG antibodies and the number of lymphocytes in patients suspected of having Dengue fever at the Prodia Sunter Clinical Laboratory for the period 2021-2024. The research method is observational with cross-sectional using secondary data of 104 samples. Data analysis uses Spearman rank. The results of the study showed that most of the suspected Dengue fever patients were male, 56 patients (53.8%) with the highest age at 19-59 years as many as 53 patients (51.0%) and the duration of fever was mostly experienced on the 3rd day of fever 29 patients (27.9%). The results of the Dengue antigen IgM examination in suspected Dengue fever patients were negative for 89 patients (85.6%) and the Dengue antigen IgG was negative for 64 patients (61.5%). The number of lymphocytes was within normal limits for 44 patients (42.3%). The results of the IgM correlation test obtained p = 0.005 with r 0.271, so the hypothesis was accepted, it can be concluded that there is a weak correlation between Dengue IgM antibodies and the number of lymphocytes and the results of the IgG correlation test obtained p = 0.043 with r 0.198, so the hypothesis was accepted, it can be concluded that there is a weak correlation between Dengue IgG antibodies and the number of lymphocytes in suspected Dengue fever patients.

IMPLEMENTATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN PATENT SYSTEMS: A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW ON EFFECTIVENESS AND LEGAL IMPLICATIONS

Abstract: The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in patent systems has emerged as a complex area in intellectual property law. This systematic literature review follows PRISMA 2020 guidelines to analyze AI implementation… in patent systems, particularly within the Indonesian context. The study examines 11 key studies published between 2015-2025 through systematic searches across multiple academic databases. Results demonstrate that AI implementation has achieved significant improvements in operational efficiency, particularly in automated patent classification, prior art searching, and examination support systems. Approximately 190,000 AI patents were granted globally between 2000-2022, reflecting increasing technological importance. In Indonesia, AI implementation must align with Law No. 13 of 2016 on Patents as amended by Law No. 65 of 2024. The landmark Thaler v. Vidal case confirms AI cannot be an "inventor" but can serve as an assistive tool with significant human contribution. Key challenges include AI decision-making transparency and knowledge gaps among patent examiners.

DIFFERENCES IN PLATELET COUNTS USING BLOOD SAMPLES WITH K3EDTA AND 3.2% SODIUM CITRATE ANTICOAGULANTS IN DENGUE FEVER PATIENTS

Abstract: Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a viral infection marked by a significant decrease in platelet count. Accurate platelet count testing is crucial for diagnosing and monitoring DHF patients. The pre-analytical phase is a… critical stage in laboratory testing, where errors can significantly impact test outcomes. Anticoagulants, such as K3EDTA and 3.2% sodium citrate, are commonly used in routine hematology tests to prevent blood clotting by binding calcium ions and inhibiting clotting factor activation. This study aimed to evaluate the difference in platelet counts between blood samples collected with K3EDTA and 3.2% sodium citrate anticoagulants in DHF patients. An analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design was conducted involving 50 purposively sampled DHF patients. Statistical analysis yielded a p-value of 0.615 (p > 0.05), indicating no significant difference in platelet counts between the two anticoagulants. It can be concluded that the use of K3EDTA and 3.2% sodium citrate does not significantly affect platelet count results in DHF patients. Future studies are recommended to involve larger sample sizes and consider microscopic examination methods, such as peripheral blood smears, to assess platelet aggregation visually.

DESCRIPTION OF LOW DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN (LDL) LEVELS AND FASTING COMPLIANCE IN OUTPATIENT CARDIAC PATIENTS AT RSU PRIMA MEDIKA DENPASAR IN THE MONTHS OF FEBRUARY TO MARCH 2025

Abstract: Cardiovascular disease remains a leading cause of death both globally and nationally, with Low Density Lipoprotein(LDL) levels serving as a key biochemical indicator in the screening and management of heart disease. Accurate&#8230; rate LDL testing requires adherence to pre-analytical procedures, particularly fasting for 10-12 hours. This study aimed to describe LDL levels and fasting compliance among outpatient cardiac patients at RSU Prima Medika Denpasar. A descriptive cross-sectional design was used with purposive sampling, involving 35 cardiac outpatients from February to March 2025. Data were collected through interviews and laboratory examinations using the Furuno CA-270 device. Results showed that 71% of respondents had LDL levels >100 mg/dL, indicating high levels, while 29% hadnormal levels (<100 mg/dL). All respondents (100%) complied with the fasting requirement. These findings indicate that high LDL levels are still commonly found among outpatient cardiac patients, particularly in productive-age males. The high level of fasting compliance reflects the effectiveness of pre-analytical patient education. This study emphasizes the importance of routine lipid screening and continuous education to enhance laboratory diagnostic accuracy and prevent cardiovascular complications.

ANALYSIS OF THE COMPLETENESS OF FILLING IN ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RESUMES FOR INPATIENTS AT DHARMA YADNYA GENERAL HOSPITAL

Abstract: People really need health services provided by hospitals, health homes and clinics. When registering for health services, each enrolling member will have his or her own medical history which must be seen at a medical clinic&#8230; nic or health office. Hospitals must have comprehensive patient data in order to provide health services effectively. Documents regarding patient identity, examinations, treatment, procedures and other services are included in the medical record. In a health facility, implementation takes the form of an administrative order. Characteristics of medical records (General Patients or BPJS). The aim of this research is to determine the completeness of electronic medical resumes seen from fourth aspects, namely, completeness of identification, important reports, authentication and correct documentation . The method used in this research is quantitative analysis with a descriptive approach. The results of this research are that in the Identification component the percentage of completeness is 100% complete, in the Important Report component the percentage of completeness is 99%, in the Authentication component the percentage of completeness is 100%, and in the Correct Documentation component the percentage of completeness is 90%. Based on the results of research that has been carried out regarding completeness When filling out electronic medical resumes for patients in the Inpatients at RSU Dharma Yadnya, it can be concluded that there are still incompleteness in filling out inpatient electronic medical resumes and that the electronic medical resume components are filled in completely.  

A VALUE-ADDED ANALYSIS OF THE PEMPEK BUSINESS IN TENGGARONG, INDONESIA

Abstract: The processing of fisheries products, characterized by the diversification of processed goods, presents a promising avenue for entrepreneurial endeavors. Product diversification holds the potential to augment the intrinsic&#8230; ic value of products and concurrently elevate public consumption of fisheries-related commodities. This research aims to analyze the prospective added value stemming from the pempek businesses in Melayu Sub-District, Tenggarong, Kutai Kertanegara. The acquired data underwent meticulous processing, tabulation, and subsequent analytical examination, characterized by both descriptive and value-added analyses, utilizing the Hayami model. The research showed that the managed pempek businesses are predominantly of small scale, utilizing relatively simple technology. On average, a single production cycle yields 126.64 kg, or monthly output of 633.2 kg. The value-added analysis reveals a figure of 186,734 IDR per kg, with a commendable value-added ratio of 70.95%. This signifies that the conversion of belida fish into pempek not only imparts substantial value but also presents a highly promising avenue for further expansion and development.

TINGKAT HEMOGLOBIN LANSIA: PERBEDAAN PENGUKURAN ANTARA DUA ALAT BERBEDA

Abstract: The examination of hemoglobin levels in the elderly is crucial as iron deficiency or anemia is often found in this age group. Various methods of hemoglobin examination are used in healthcare facilities. This study aims to&#8230; o identify the differences in hemoglobin levels using the Dirui BCC-3600 and Quick Check devices in the elderly population at Puskesmas Biromaru. This research is descriptive-comparative in nature. The sample consisted of 30 patients undergoing hemoglobin examination at the Puskesmas Biromaru laboratory between March 29th and April 30th, 2023. The sampling method used was accidental sampling, with venous blood samples from 30 respondents. The results of the study showed that the average hemoglobin level using the Dirui BCC-3600 device was 12.86 g/dL, while with the Quick Check device it was 11.77 g/dL. Normality testing was conducted using the Shapiro-Wilk test, which yielded a p-value of 0.023. A p-value < 0.05 indicates non-normal data distribution, thus followed by the Mann-Whitney test. The Mann-Whitney test resulted in a significant value (p) = 0.011. In conclusion, there is a significant difference in hemoglobin levels using the Dirui BCC-3600 and Quick Check devices in the elderly.

Abstract: Based on research results witness or victim protection is regulated in Law no. 13 of 2006 and to find out how the legal protection of the rights of the defendant in criminal cases in Gorontalo the violation of the defendant&#8230; ant was carried out by the investigator both from the beginning of the process until the end of the process. The human rights law must be fulfilled and there are several violations committed by the investigator both intentionally or unintentionally. The defendant's human rights are listed in Law No. 8 of 1981 concerning criminal procedural law in article 98 paragraph 1 explains"If an act which forms the basis of an indictment in an examination of a criminal case by a district court results in a loss for another person, the presiding judge may at the request of that person determine to incorporate the case for the compensation claim to the criminal case".Paragraph (2) explains;"The request referred to in paragraph (1) may only be submitted at the latest before the public prosecutor recommends a criminal charge. In the event that the public prosecutor is not present, the request is submitted no later than before the judge passes the sentence ".The defendant's human rights law is a right that must be carried out by the investigator from the beginning of the process until the end of the investigation process.  

Prediksi Kelulusan Siswa SDN 016528 BP. Mandoge dengan Metode Naïve Bayes

Abstract: Graduation marks the completion of a certain level of schooling. This study aims to predict the graduation of students at SDN 016528 BP Mandoge based on their abilities. The goal of this research is to reduce the rate of&#8230; student failure to graduate by making predictions based on examination scores collected by the institution. The method used in this study is Naive Bayes, a technique in Data Mining that utilizes probability and statistics to predict future outcomes based on previous data. This method was chosen due to its advantage in predicting graduation rates from concrete data, ensuring the results are reliable and applicable for future predictions. The dataset used in this study includes graduation data for SDN 016528 BP Mandoge students for the 2019/2020 academic year, comprising 171 students, with 120 students used for training data and 51 students for testing data, achieving a model accuracy of 98%.
