erythrocyte sedimentation rate examination. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between hs-CRP levels and erythrocyte sedimentation rate in pediatric febrile patients. The research method was observational with a cross-sectional method using secondary data of 62 samples. Data analysis used the Spearman's rho test. The results of the study showed that most of the pediatric patients who experienced fever were male (59.7%), and the age of the child was 5 years (21%). In pediatric patients with fever, the average hs-CRP level was 19.34 mg/l, and the erythrocyte sedimentation rate was 32.73 mm/hour. The results of the correlation test using the Spearman's rho test method obtained p = 0.001 with r = 0.575, so it can be concluded that there is a moderate and positive relationship between hs-CRP levels and erythrocyte sedimentation rate in pediatric patients with fever.

Objective: To describe the effect of boiled soursop leaf water on reducing uric acid levels in elderly patients with gout arthritis in Karangjambu Village, Karangjambu Subdistrict, Purbalingga Regency. Method: This study employed a case study method. Subjects were given an intervention of 200 ml of boiled soursop leaf water daily (100 ml in the morning and 100 ml in the evening) for seven consecutive days. Uric acid levels were measured before and after the intervention. Results: After seven days of soursop leaf water administration, uric acid levels decreased from an average of 8.7–9.0 mg/dl to 5.5–5.8 mg/dl. This suggests that the active compounds in soursop leaves are effective in inhibiting xanthine oxidase and promoting uric acid excretion through urine. Conclusion: Boiled soursop leaf water is effective in lowering uric acid levels in elderly patients with gout arthritis and can serve as a safe and practical complementary non-pharmacological therapy within the community.

determine the estimated equivalent dose received by accompanying caregivers of pediatric patients and the safest points during conventional radiology examinations. The method used in this research is a field survey, involving the measurement of equivalent radiation doses inside and outside the examination room using a personal dosimeter, as well as measuring the radiation dose rate at 6 points using a surveymeter. The data was processed to obtain the highest and lowest values, as well as the percentage of equivalent dose obtained compared to the established Dose Limit Value (DLV). The results showed that the highest radiation dose received by accompanying caregivers inside the examination room reached 13,46 µSv, with a percentage of 0,27% relative to the DLV, while the lowest dose recorded was 1,12 µSv, with a percentage of 0,0224% relative to the DLV. Analysis of the radiation dose rate distribution revealed that the greater the distance of the measurement point from the radiation source (tube), the smaller the dose received. In conclusion, the radiation dose received by accompanying caregivers is still below the Dose Limit Value (DLV) for caregivers, which is 5.000 µSv. However, to minimize stochastic effects, the implementation of additional protective measures, such as the use of lead aprons and selecting safer locations within the examination room, is highly recommended. These findings are expected to serve as a guide in enhancing the safety of accompanying caregivers of pediatric patients in conventional radiology units.

Diabetic nephropathy is defined as a clinical syndrome in diabetes mellitus patients characterized by persistent albuminuria, an irreversible decrease in glomerular filtration rate, and increased arterial blood pressure. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between Hemoglobin A1c and microalbuminuria in diabetes mellitus patients at Prodia Sunter. The research method used is quantitative analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The data collected were secondary data from the period of January–July 2024 with a total of 60 samples. Sampling was conducted using purposive sampling and met the inclusion criteria, namely patients over 60 years of age, Hemoglobin A1c value ≥7, diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, no history of thalassemia, and who had undergone Hemoglobin A1c and microalbuminuria examinations. The results of this study show a significant unidirectional positive relationship with a very strong correlation between Hemoglobin A1c levels and microalbuminuria in diabetes mellitus patients, with sig (2-tailed) = 0.000 and correlation coefficient value = 0.892. The relationship between Hemoglobin A1c levels and microalbuminuria is unidirectional positive, meaning that the higher the Hemoglobin A1c levels, the higher the microalbuminuria levels.

ed on ICD-10 according to the 2023 National Medical Practice Guidelines (PNPK) at Udayana Hospital II in Denpasar. The research method used was quantitative descriptive with a total sampling approach of 72 medical records of pneumonia patients during the period from October 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. The research instrument was a checklist for assessing the accuracy of diagnosis codes based on the provisions of ICD-10 and PNPK Pneumonia 2023. The results showed that 51 files (70.8%) were coded accurately, while 21 files (29.2%) were coded inaccurately. The inaccuracy in coding was due to a lack of supporting tests, such as microbiological tests, as well as the excessive workload of the coders. These findings indicate the need for an analysis of coders' workload to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of their tasks, time management, and priorities. This study is expected to serve as evaluation material to improve the quality of service and efficiency of hospital administration.

The results of this study were [education (p=0.023, OR=2.711); gender (p=0.017, OR=2.001); language (p=0.001, OR=1.013); age (p=0.020, OR=2.968); employment status (p=0.001, OR=1.248); residence (p=0.012, OR=2.068); personal health condition (p=0.031, OR=5.840); access to health information (p=0.020, OR=2.968). In the logistic regression test, the personal health condition factor was most associated with HL of NCD patients (p=0.010, OR=5.840). In conclusion, the study showed that socio-demographic factors (education, gender, language, age, employment status, residence, personal health condition and access to health information simultaneously or partially influenced the HL of patients with NCDs. The most dominant factor associated with HL of patients with NCDs was personal health conditions. The role of health workers provides many sources of information to develop and learn solutions and support for people with various types of NCDs.

This study aims to determine the relationship between Dengue IgM and IgG antibodies and the number of lymphocytes in patients suspected of having Dengue fever at the Prodia Sunter Clinical Laboratory for the period 2021-2024. The research method is observational with cross-sectional using secondary data of 104 samples. Data analysis uses Spearman rank. The results of the study showed that most of the suspected Dengue fever patients were male, 56 patients (53.8%) with the highest age at 19-59 years as many as 53 patients (51.0%) and the duration of fever was mostly experienced on the 3rd day of fever 29 patients (27.9%). The results of the Dengue antigen IgM examination in suspected Dengue fever patients were negative for 89 patients (85.6%) and the Dengue antigen IgG was negative for 64 patients (61.5%). The number of lymphocytes was within normal limits for 44 patients (42.3%). The results of the IgM correlation test obtained p = 0.005 with r 0.271, so the hypothesis was accepted, it can be concluded that there is a weak correlation between Dengue IgM antibodies and the number of lymphocytes and the results of the IgG correlation test obtained p = 0.043 with r 0.198, so the hypothesis was accepted, it can be concluded that there is a weak correlation between Dengue IgG antibodies and the number of lymphocytes in suspected Dengue fever patients.

has been associated with systemic adverse effects, including decreased bone mineral density (BMD) and increased risk of osteoporosis. This review aimed to examine the association between ICS use and the risk of osteoporosis or fractures, and to identify modifying factors such as dose, duration, patient age, sex, and type of corticosteroid used. Literature review was conducted using databases including PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science. Articles were selected using specific inclusion and exclusion criteria. The review focused on original studies published up to March 2025, resulting in 28 relevant articles, of which 6–8 high-quality studies were analyzed in depth. Most studies demonstrated that long-term or high-dose ICS use is associated with decreased BMD and increased risk of fractures, especially in elderly COPD patients. The greatest risk was linked to fluticasone and budesonide at doses ≥500 µg/day. Some studies found neutral or even protective effects in specific subgroups, indicating population-dependent variability. Meta-analyses revealed conflicting results due to heterogeneity in populations and methodologies. High-dose and long-term ICS use may increase the risk of osteoporosis. Clinicians should consider individualized risk assessments and adopt strategies such as using the lowest effective dose, monitoring BMD, and providing calcium and vitamin D supplementation in at-risk populations.

eteness of medical record documentation, particularly in the emergency department, is an indicator of service quality that requires serious attention. The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of completeness of identification, authentication, recording, and important reporting in the medical records of emergency patients diagnosed with hypertension at Wangaya Regional Hospital, Denpasar City. This study used a quantitative descriptive method. The population was all 330 medical records of emergency patients diagnosed with hypertension. A sample of 199 files was drawn using a probability sampling technique using a simple random sampling approach. The results showed that completeness of identification reached 100%, authentication reached 176 documents (88.44%), recording reached 174 documents (84.44%), and reporting reached 159 documents (79.90%). It can be concluded that identification had the highest level of completeness, while reporting had the lowest level of completeness. Researchers suggest that hospitals increase outreach and supervision of medical staff, especially in emergency installations, regarding the importance of completeness and timeliness of filling out medical record documents.

arises during the critical phase, typically between the 4th and 6th days of fever, during which plasma leakage may occur, leading to shock and severe bleeding. Hematocrit levels and platelet counts are important parameters in the diagnosis and monitoring of DHF patients. This study aimed to determine the differences in hematocrit levels and platelet counts during days 4 to 6 of fever in DHF patients at Prima Medika Hospital Denpasar, in February 2025. This research employed a descriptive quantitative design with purposive sampling, involving 35 patients who met the inclusion criteria. The results showed a decrease in hematocrit levels with averages of 42.8%, 42%, and 41.2%, and platelet counts with averages of 87 x 10³/µL, 59 x 10³/µL, and 47 x 10³/µL from day 4 to day 6 of fever. Data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, the Friedman non-parametric test for hematocrit levels, and the Repeated Measures ANOVA parametric test for platelet counts. Statistical analysis showed a p-value of 0.002 for hematocrit levels and 0.000 for platelet counts. The conclusion of this study is that there are significant differences in hematocrit levels and platelet counts between days 4 to 6 of fever in DHF patients.
