VALUE-BASED REPUTATION: TRANSFORMING ISLAMIC BANKING GOVERNANCE IN REALIZING THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGs)

Abstract: This study aims to construct a conceptual model integrating value-based governance, value-based reputation, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the context of global Islamic banking. The research is motivated… ated by the need to bridge Islamic ethical values with modern governance and sustainability paradigms that emphasize the balance between profitability, moral integrity, and social responsibility. Employing a systematic literature review and thematic synthesis through qualitative analysis, this study identifies, categorizes, and synthesizes key conceptual themes relevant to the research focus. The findings reveal that value-based governance serves as an ethical foundation that strengthens value-based reputation, while the latter functions as a catalyst for achieving sustainable development objectives. The synergy among these three elements produces a governance model that positions the principles of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah as a normative framework for ethical, transparent, and sustainable Islamic financial practices. The primary contribution of this research lies in the simultaneous integration of the three major frameworks—value-based governance, value-based reputation, and SDGs—which enriches theoretical discourse on Islamic financial governance and provides strategic direction for the development of policy, sharia auditing, and sustainability reporting systems oriented toward ethical values and global welfare.

THE IMPACT OF CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD) ON SHIFTING TEACHER BELIEFS AND CLASSROOM PRACTICES IN STEM EDUCATION

Abstract: This study investigates the impact of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) on shifting teacher beliefs and classroom practices in STEM education at SDN No. 100710 Hapesong Baru.. The research aimed to explore how sustained… stained professional learning experiences contribute to teachers’ pedagogical transformation from content transmitters to learning facilitators. Employing a qualitative case study design, data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis involving four STEM teachers who participated in a year-long CPD program. The findings reveal that CPD fostered significant changes in teachers’ beliefs toward student-centered learning and encouraged more interactive, inquiry-based classroom practices. However, challenges such as limited institutional support and resource constraints still hindered full pedagogical implementation. The study highlights the importance of contextualized CPD programs in developing reflective and adaptive STEM educators, offering insights for policymakers and practitioners seeking to enhance teacher professionalism in developing-country contexts.

ANALYSIS OF THE CIVIL DECISION EXECUTION MECHANISM IN THE INDONESIAN JUDICIAL SYSTEM

Abstract: The last phase that assesses the efficiency of law enforcement in the Indonesian legal system is the execution of civil decisions. Despite having a solid legal foundation thanks to the Reglement Buitengewesten (RBg) and… the Herzien Inlandsch Reglement (HIR), its execution frequently encounters a number of challenges. The purpose of this study is to examine how civil judgments are carried out, including the legal foundation, several forms of execution (such as real, payment of money, and vacating), stages of implementation (such as aanmaning, execution seizure, and forceful execution), and practical challenges. Normative juridical study using a conceptual and statutory approach is the methodology employed. The study's findings show that the primary causes of execution failure are non-legal barriers like social opposition and a lack of official backing, as well as legal barriers like verzet, derden verzet, and ambiguous verdicts. Effective, efficient, and equitable execution of civil judgments requires systemic change and interagency cooperation.

THE EFFICACY AND SAFETY OF A POLYPILL (ANTIHYPERTENSIVE, STATIN, ± ASPIRIN) FOR THE PRIMARY PREVENTION OF MAJOR ADVERSE CARDIOVASCULAR EVENTS: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW AND META-ANALYSIS

Abstract: Background: Cardiovascular disease (CVD) continues to be the predominant cause of global mortality. Polypill techniques that integrate various cardiovascular drugs into a single formulation have emerged as a potential method&#8230; thod for primary prevention, especially in intermediate-risk populations. Objective: To systematically review and synthesize evidence regarding the efficacy and safety of polypill formulations (comprising antihypertensive medications, statins, with or without aspirin) in comparison to standard care or placebo for the primary prevention of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) in intermediate-risk populations. Methods: We conducted systematic review and meta-analysis in accordance with PRISMA 2020 standards (Systematic Review Registration: PROSPERO CRD420251184718). Various databases (PubMed, Cochrane Library, ScienceDirect, Scopus) were examined for original research published from January 2015 to October 2024. Studies were eligible if they assessed polypill therapies in individuals aged 30 to 70 years with intermediate cardiovascular risk (10-20% 10-year risk), reported composite major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) outcomes, and included a minimum follow-up of 6 months. Two independent reviewers conducted screening, data extraction, and risk of bias evaluation utilizing the Cochrane RoB 2.0 tool. Results: Of the 161 records discovered, 4 randomized controlled studies (HOPE-3, TIPS-3, PolyIran, PolyPars) with 31,501 people fulfilled the inclusion criteria. Polypill therapies showed a substantial decrease in composite MACE relative to control groups (pooled HR 0.67 (95% CI 0.60-0.75, p<0.001). Individual trial hazard ratios varied from 0.50 (PolyPars) to 0.66 (PolyIran) and 0.79 (TIPS-3) with moderate heterogeneity (I²=35.2%, p=0.20). Polypills were generally well- tolerated, with a safety profile consistent with the individual components. Medication adherence was enhanced with the polypill in comparison to multiple-pill regimens. Conclusions: Polypill techniques markedly reduce major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) in intermediate-risk patients for primary cardiovascular prevention, achieving around a 33% relative risk reduction. The fixed-dose combination strategy provides benefits in compliance and ease of use. These findings hold significant implications for healthcare systems in low-to- middle-income nations, such as Indonesia, where the burden of cardiovascular disease is substantial and access to long-term cardiovascular drugs is frequently hindered by cost and complexity.

RAILWAY MODERNIZATION IN INDONESIA: A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF FOUR COUNTRIES AND ITS POLICY IMPLICATIONS

Abstract: This study examines structural and spatial gaps in Indonesia’s railway network through a comparative analysis with Japan, India, the Philippines, and Uzbekistan, aiming to formulate adaptive, efficient, and sustainable railway&#8230; railway modernization strategies. Using a qualitative descriptive-comparative approach grounded in pragmatism, the research emphasizes the policy relevance of global best practices adapted to Indonesia’s context. Lessons from Japan and India highlight network integration, business diversification, and logistics efficiency, while the Philippines and Uzbekistan demonstrate the importance of adaptive governance, technological innovation, and institutional reform in strengthening interregional connectivity. In Indonesia, modernization should integrate the roles of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI), the Directorate General of Railways, and local governments to enhance connectivity, improve logistics efficiency, and promote equitable regional development. These findings provide a conceptual and managerial reference for designing inclusive, adaptive, and equitable national public transport policies.

OVERIVEW OF COLORING PLAY THERAPHY ON THE ANXIETY LEVEL OF PRESCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN A DUE TO HOSPITALIZATION AT THE PADAMARA HEALTH CENTER, PURBALINGGA REGENCY

Abstract: Background: Preschool-Aged children, aged 3–6 years, where the preschool period becomes a very fun time and get various new things. The weakness experienced by preschool children is that their immune system is weaker than&#8230; han adults, which makes them more susceptible to infections, as well as the risk of falls and injuries, so they require medical treatment in the hospital. Childern who undergoing treatment at the Puskesmas can cause anxiety for them because they must leave their familiar, safe, loving, and enjoyable home environment. Hospitalization is a planned medical procedure that requires care and treatment but can trigger anxiety in children, both mentally and physically. Anxiety will cause children to become uncooperative and difficult to cooperate with health workers. During this process, children may face traumatic experiences that cause stress. One of the efforts to reduce the level of anxiety is by implementing play therapy, one of which is the coloring play therapy technique. Objective: This research describes the application of coloring play therapy on anxiety levels in preschool-aged children at Padamara Health Center. Methods: This research used a case study research design method. Results: This research indicate that before the intervention score was 25 (moderate anxiety) and after the intervention score was 9 (no anxiety). Conclusion: Coloring play therapy can reduce anxiety levels in preschool-aged children undergoing treatment at Padamara Health Center.

GENDER ISSUES IN PUBLIC SPACES WITHIN MUSLIM COMMUNITIES: A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

Abstract: Gender issues in public spaces and Muslim communities have increasingly gained attention in academic discourse due to their strong connection with social norms, cultural values, and religious interpretations that shape women's&#8230; omen's patterns of participation. This study aims to examine the influence of gender norms and values within Muslim communities on women’s engagement in public spaces, uncover the challenges they face, and formulate recommendations based on feminist and social constructionist perspectives to promote gender equality. The research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by tracing reputable academic databases through rigorous selection and thematic analysis. The findings reveal that Muslim women’s participation in public spaces is often hindered by patriarchal constructions, discrimination, and limited access. Nevertheless, women have developed strategies of resistance and negotiation that expand their roles. Thematic analysis identifies three main patterns: women’s representation in public spaces, gender-based social practices that impose limitations, and resistance strategies through religious reinterpretation and community activism. This article contributes to theoretical development by enriching global feminist perspectives through the lived experiences of Muslim women while also offering practical contributions in the form of inclusive and socially–religiously sensitive public policy recommendations. The implications highlight the importance of cross-cultural studies and the exploration of women’s experiences at the local community level to broaden understanding of gender equality in contemporary Muslim societies.

DEVELOPING LEARNING MATERIALS ORIENTED TO A REALISTIC MATHEMATICS EDUCATION APPROACH INTEGRATED WITH ETHNOMATHEMATICS TO ENHANCE STUDENTS’ MATHEMATICAL PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS

Abstract: This research aims to develop a mathematics learning device oriented toward the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach based on Ethnomathematics to improve students’ mathematical problem-solving skills at MTs Negeri&#8230; egeri 3 Tapanuli Selatan. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) design using the 4-D model, which consists of four stages: defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The research subjects were 36 seventh-grade students in the second semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The instruments used included expert validation sheets, teacher and student practicality questionnaires, classroom observation sheets, and mathematical problem-solving tests. The results revealed that the developed learning device achieved an average expert validation score of 4.25 in the very valid category in terms of content, language, and presentation. The practicality test showed that the teacher’s response reached 89% and the students’ response reached 91%, categorized as very practical, indicating that the device was easy to use and engaging for students. The effectiveness test showed an average N-Gain score of 0.52 (moderate category) with 86.11% of students achieving mastery learning, signifying that the learning device was effective in enhancing students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities. The integration of the realistic mathematics approach with local cultural elements (ethnomathematics) successfully created meaningful and contextual learning experiences while fostering students’ appreciation for their cultural heritage. Therefore, the developed learning device is feasible to be implemented as an innovative mathematics learning medium based on cultural contexts in junior high schools and madrasah.

A SIMPLE STRATEGY OF LINEAR REGRESSION ON 8-BIT MICROCONTROLLER ADC TO IMPROVE SENSOR VALUE READING ACCURACY

Abstract: This study proposes a linear regression-based intelligent calibration approach to improve the accuracy of water turbidity sensor readings in an Arduino microcontroller-based embedded system. The primary objective of this&#8230; research is to develop a mathematical model capable of converting analog values ​​from the Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) into a numerical representation that reflects the actual water turbidity level in Nephelometric Turbidity Units (NTU). The calibration process was performed using a standard Hanna Turbidity Meter with water samples ranging from 0.56 NTU to 500 NTU. Measurement results demonstrated a strong linear relationship between the ADC value (495–686) and NTU, with an average system accuracy level above 90%. Comparison of sensor measurements with the standard instrument showed an error margin below 5%, confirming the reliability of the linear regression model in compensating for optical sensor nonlinearities.

PETROLOGICAL AND PETROGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS OF BUTON ROCK ASPHALT (ASBUTON) TRAP ROCK IN THE WINNING AREA OF BUTON REGENCY

Abstract: This study aims to identify the petrological and petrographical characteristics of carbonate rocks that act as natural asphalt (Asbuton) reservoir rocks in the Winning area, Buton Regency. The analysis was conducted through&#8230; ugh megascopic observation of rock outcrops and microscopic observation of thin sections using a polarizing microscope. The results show that the carbonate rock units in the study area are dominated by bioclastic limestone (biomicrite) and dolomitic limestone (biogenic dolomite). The bioclastic limestone consists of foraminiferal and shell fragments bound by micrite and sparry calcite cement, whereas the dolomitic limestone displays fine- to medium-crystalline textures with well-developed intercrystalline porosity formed through dolomitization. Partial to advanced dolomitization occurred due to the circulation of magnesium-rich fluids in a restricted marine environment during the post-depositional stage. The mineralogical transformation from calcite to dolomite enhanced both porosity and compactness, making these rocks potential reservoir rocks for natural asphalt accumulation. Overall, the petrological and petrographical characteristics indicate that the carbonate rocks in the Winning area underwent a complex diagenetic evolution and play a significant role in the formation and entrapment system of Buton Rock Asphalt (Asbuton).
