Abstract:English language learning in Islamic colleges faces challenges related to motivation, engagement, and a classroom atmosphere that tends to be monotonous. In today's digital context, Game-Based Learning (GBL) offers an innovative…
novative approach that can change these dynamics through fun and interactive game elements. This study aims to explore the subjective experiences of students at the Susha Siak Islamic College (STAI) in using Gimkit as a game-based English learning medium. The approach used is interpretive phenomenology based on Heidegger's thinking, which focuses on the meaning of participants' life experiences. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and reflective journals from seven students who actively used Gimkit in their English classes. Data analysis followed Colaizzi's (1978) steps to identify essential themes from the participants' experiences.
The results of the study show three main themes: (1) fun and challenging learning, (2) a more lively and competitive classroom atmosphere, and (3) increased cohesiveness and solidarity among students. The learning experience through Gimkit brings out strong intrinsic motivation, self-confidence, and positive emotional involvement. This study concludes that GBL through Gimkit not only improves the effectiveness of English language learning, but also strengthens the values of togetherness and collaboration in the context of Islamic higher education.
Abstract:This study aims to develop a Pre-Marital Education Model for prospective brides and grooms at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) Padang Bolak. The purpose of the model is to enhance the readiness of couples in facing…
marital life and to promote the establishment of sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah families based on Islamic values. The research employs the Research and Development (R&D) method adapted from the Borg and Gall model, consisting of seven main stages: needs analysis, planning, product development, expert validation, revision, limited field trials, and final product refinement. Data were collected through expert validation sheets, observation, questionnaires, and interviews, then analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The validation results showed high feasibility, with average expert ratings of 90% (content), 92% (design), 96% (language), and 90% (implementation). The trial results indicated that the model is valid, practical, and effective in improving participants’ understanding, communication skills, and emotional readiness for marriage. This study concludes that the developed pre-marital education model can be effectively implemented as an innovative framework for family education at KUA. It contributes to strengthening Islamic marriage preparation programs and supports the government’s efforts to reduce divorce rates through comprehensive pre-marital guidance.
Abstract:The training program “Developing a Growth Mindset Among Elementary School Teachers: A Training Guide for Enhancing Deep Learning” was organized by the Department of Education of Mandailing Natal Regency to strengthen teachers’…
teachers’ pedagogical competence and foster a student-centered learning culture. This initiative was motivated by the 2022 PISA results, which revealed that more than 99% of Indonesian students could only solve problems at lower levels (Lower Order Thinking Skills), while less than 1% reached higher levels (Higher Order Thinking Skills). One of the underlying causes is the prevalence of a fixed mindset among teachers—the belief that intelligence is innate and difficult to change. This training aimed to cultivate a growth mindset based on Carol S. Dweck’s (2006) theory, which emphasizes that abilities can be developed through effort and learning strategies. The method employed was a reflective andragogical workshop involving material presentations, microteaching simulations, and collaborative reflections. The results indicated a significant improvement in teachers’ understanding of the growth mindset concept and its implementation in deep learning. Teachers began providing process praise, applying The Power of Yet strategy, and creating emotionally safe and collaborative classroom environments. Furthermore, the establishment of the Growth-Oriented Teacher Community of Mandailing Natal (KGB-Madina) emerged as a sustainable platform for sharing best teaching practices and fostering continuous professional growth.

y or verbally. If not addressed promptly, the risk of violent behavior can endanger both the individual and others. This condition poses a serious challenge as it can disrupt the patient’s recovery process and create anxiety in the surrounding environment. Therefore, appropriate nursing interventions are needed—not only to calm the patient but also to enhance the patient’s ability to control their emotions. One of the interventions that can be applied is the deep breathing relaxation technique. Objective: To describe the nursing care from assessment to evaluation for Mrs. A with a risk of violent behavior, focusing on the deep breathing relaxation intervention. Method: This scientific paper uses a descriptive research method in the form of a case study. Results: After three days of nursing interventions for patient with a risk of violent behavior using deep breathing relaxation, the client showed reduced tension and was able to control her emotions well. Conclusion: Deep breathing relaxation for patient was effective in reducing the risk of violent behavior.
Abstract:This study aims to analyze the application of Feminine Energy among Generation Z female influencers in constructing self-identity on social media. Feminine Energy is understood as an energy that embodies empathy, gentleness,…
ess, and emotional balance, which has become a symbol of women’s empowerment (soft empowerment) in the digital era. This phenomenon is significant as it reflects a shift in the meaning of femininity from physical appearance toward self-awareness and personal authenticity. The research employs a qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews and observations of social media content produced by influencers who express Feminine Energy values. The analysis draws on Social Identity Theory (Tajfel & Turner, 1979), which highlights the processes of categorization, identification, and social comparison. The findings reveal that the application of Feminine Energy manifests in five key aspects: self-love, confidence, empathetic communication, calm emotional expression, and healthy personal boundaries. Through social processes, influencers internalize these values as integral parts of their personal and digital identities. In conclusion, Feminine Energy is not only a lifestyle but also a social identity strategy used by Gen Z female influencers to build an authentic, empowered, and reflective self-image in the digital space.

Abstract:This article explores autoethnography as a form of spiritual epistemology in the study of Islam and gender. Drawing upon feminist hermeneutics and Indonesian Muslim women’s lived experiences, it argues that self-writing…
g is not merely personal expression but a mode of knowing an intellectual and devotional act that integrates reason, emotion, and faith. Using a qualitative reflective framework, the author employs her own journey as a Muslim woman, mother, and doctoral scholar to examine how autoethnography can serve as both method and ibadah ilmiah. The discussion situates this approach within Islamic concepts of tafakkur (contemplation) and muhasabah (self-accounting), connecting them to the works of Amina Wadud, Etin Anwar, and Saba Mahmood. Findings reveal three epistemic dimensions of spiritual self-writing: (1) writing as worship and remembrance, (2) domestic space as an epistemic field of ethical formation, and (3) reflexive authorship as a feminist-spiritual act of reclaiming authority. By merging autoethnography with Islamic historiography, this study proposes an inclusive and embodied mode of scholarship — one that honors lived experience as a source of divine and intellectual illumination.
Abstract:Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) includes physical, emotional, and behavioral symptoms pre-menstruation. These symptoms affect the daily activities of adolescent girls. Regular physical activity can increase endorphin production,…
ion, which may reduce PMS symptoms. This study aims to investigate the correlation between physical activity and PMS symptoms among girls in Abulyatama Senior High School. Abstract:This study examines the implementation of customer-driven excellence strategy in the Umrah travel industry in Depok City by investigating the relationships between service quality, brand credibility, perceived value, and…
customer-driven excellence outcomes. Using a quantitative research approach with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), data were collected from 105 customers who have utilized Umrah travel services within the past two years. The measurement model demonstrated excellent reliability and validity, with all constructs meeting stringent psychometric criteria for convergent and discriminant validity. The structural model reveals that all three hypotheses are strongly supported, with brand credibility emerging as the most influential factor (β = 0.398, p < 0.001), followed by perceived value (β = 0.356, p < 0.001) and service quality (β = 0.285, p < 0.001). The integrated model explains 74.2% of variance in customer-driven excellence, demonstrating strong explanatory power and large predictive relevance (Q² = 0.486). These findings provide empirical evidence that successful customer-driven excellence strategy requires integrated approaches prioritizing brand credibility development while simultaneously enhancing perceived value and service quality. The study offers valuable insights for Umrah travel operators seeking to optimize competitive advantage through comprehensive customer excellence strategies that address both functional and emotional dimensions of religious tourism services.

and demonstrate their products in real-time, known as live streaming shopping. TikTok has become one of the popular social-commerce platforms with beauty content within its application. This study aims to better understand the influence of TikTok live streaming shopping on the purchase intention of the local beauty brand through emotional factors. We applied the S-O-R (Stimulus, Organism, Response) model, with influencer credibility variables added to the emotional factors in the S-O-R model. Data were collected from 300 respondents who registered through a Google Form survey with predetermined criteria. PLS-SEM using Smart PLS was chosen for data analysis. The study revealed that attraction, cognitive assimilation, and influencer credibility mediate the relationship between real-time interaction, shopping guidance, visibility, media richness, and consumer purchase intention. Therefore, live streaming shopping through emotional factors significantly influences consumers' purchase intention. This research found that the enrichment of material living standards has transformed people’s purely demand-oriented shopping style. This study result help enterprises to better apply live streaming more effectively and expanding channels promotion strategies.
