and social awareness from an early age. Meanwhile, the advancement of digital technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI)–based learning media, offers new opportunities to improve the quality of learning in elementary schools. This study aims to analyze the existence of Civic Education and the use of AI-based learning media in supporting students’ social-emotional development. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach and was conducted at SD Negeri 0722 PTPN IV Lubuk Bunut. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that Civic Education plays a significant role in fostering students’ social attitudes, empathy, and responsibility, while AI-based learning media enhance students’ learning motivation and engagement when implemented appropriately and in accordance with developmental stages. The integration of Civic Education, AI-based media, and developmental psychology perspectives contributes positively to students’ social-emotional development in elementary education.

ious occupational and environmental disease affecting not only workers but also communities living near coal-handling areas. Physical environmental factors, including air quality, temperature, humidity, and wind speed, play an important role in influencing dust generation, dispersion, and inhalation exposure. This narrative review aims to synthesize current evidence on the influence of physical environmental conditions on silica exposure and silicosis development, integrating findings from environmental monitoring studies, epidemiological research, and experimental Wistar rat models. A literature search was conducted using major scientific databases to identify relevant peer-reviewed articles published between 2010 and 2024. The reviewed evidence indicates that prolonged or high-intensity exposure to silica dust is strongly associated with chronic pulmonary inflammation and progressive fibrosis. Environmental conditions can exacerbate exposure risk by increasing airborne particulate concentrations and respiratory vulnerability. Experimental studies using Wistar rats provide mechanistic insights into silica-induced lung injury, supporting epidemiological observations in human populations. This review highlights the importance of integrating environmental, occupational, and biological perspectives to improve risk prediction, early detection, and preventive strategies for silicosis in coal-handling regions.

r effective execution in village management. In particular, the preparation of the Draft Village Regulation aims to enhance the implementation of democracy in the Village. The research method employed is empirical legal research, utilizing primary and secondary data collection methods through in-depth observations and interviews. The results are based on field studies and documents from the Gunungsari Village Government, Tajinan District, Malang Regency. A qualitative juridical analysis is then carried out. The study's results show that implementing community rights in expressing aspirations, suggestions, and opinions is crucial in preparing the draft village regulations. In the planning activities for preparing village regulations, participation has been carried out through village deliberations and hamlet deliberations, which have identified inhibiting factors. First, there are still people who do not understand their rights. Second, there are still people who remain indifferent. Third, the community has not been informed about the village authority's plan to create village ordinances. Techniques for conquering difficulties 1). connecting the community's and the village government's perspectives, goals, and tactics. 2) Budgetary support from the village government for improving community human resources through education, training, and courses. 3) Village government programs and activity plans must be oriented towards improving community income and welfare. 4) Improved facilities and infrastructure for disseminating plans for drafting village regulations.

This study aims to examine the influence of gender norms and values within Muslim communities on women’s engagement in public spaces, uncover the challenges they face, and formulate recommendations based on feminist and social constructionist perspectives to promote gender equality. The research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by tracing reputable academic databases through rigorous selection and thematic analysis. The findings reveal that Muslim women’s participation in public spaces is often hindered by patriarchal constructions, discrimination, and limited access. Nevertheless, women have developed strategies of resistance and negotiation that expand their roles. Thematic analysis identifies three main patterns: women’s representation in public spaces, gender-based social practices that impose limitations, and resistance strategies through religious reinterpretation and community activism. This article contributes to theoretical development by enriching global feminist perspectives through the lived experiences of Muslim women while also offering practical contributions in the form of inclusive and socially–religiously sensitive public policy recommendations. The implications highlight the importance of cross-cultural studies and the exploration of women’s experiences at the local community level to broaden understanding of gender equality in contemporary Muslim societies.

examines the implementation of service quality in Islamic boarding schools in the Riau Islands Province and its influence on academic achievement, focusing on SMPIT Assakinah Tanjung Pinang, SMPS Al-Himmah Karimun, and SMP BP Tahfidz Attaubah Batam. Service quality in this context is defined as a student-centered paradigm that integrates academic, pastoral, and social dimensions. Drawing on perspectives from Crosby, Sallis, and Brewster, quality is measured by responsiveness to needs, continuous improvement, and the integration of academic rigor, pastoral care, and co-curricular enrichment. Academic achievement, as described by Bloom, is shaped by cognitive, affective, and environmental factors, where the structured environment of boarding schools can maximize outcomes. This research employed a qualitative case study approach with data gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation, analyzed using an interactive model. Findings reveal that service quality is implemented through four stages: (1) conceptualization with a vision integrating national and diniyah curricula; (2) implementation involving active learning, dormitory services, extracurricular programs, and Islamic character building; (3) improvement via SWOT-based evaluation, facility upgrades, teacher development, and digitalization; and (4) continuous evaluation for relevance and effectiveness. The study concludes that comprehensive, integrated service quality is a decisive factor for success in boarding schools. Effective service quality fosters both academic achievement and the development of religious, independent, and morally sound students. By applying Total Quality Management principles, Islamic boarding schools can establish an optimal educational ecosystem, producing a superior and globally competitive generation rooted in Islamic values.

This study employs a normative juridical method with a comparative approach, analyzing doctrinal sources, statutory law, and scholarly debates from both civil law and common law perspectives. The findings suggest that while the adversarial system traditionally restricts judges to a passive role, the notion of an active judge has emerged to prevent procedural abuses and ensure substantive justice. For Indonesia, integrating aspects of the active judge model may contribute to enhancing transparency, protecting defendants’ rights, and harmonizing procedural justice with societal expectations. Nevertheless, challenges remain, particularly concerning judicial independence, consistency of application, and potential conflicts with established inquisitorial practices. This study concludes that the adoption of active judge principles must be carefully contextualized, reinforcing Indonesia’s hybrid system rather than replacing its legal traditions.

Data were collected from scientific articles published between 2015 and 2024 using Scopus, PubMed, DOAJ, and Google Scholar. Findings reveal that excessive complaining amplifies stress, worsens mental health, and disrupts the immune system. Psychologically, uncontrolled complaints are linked to low emotional resilience. From an Islamic view, patience (shabr) and supplication to God provide spiritual strength and mental stability. Medically, emotional stress raises cortisol levels, negatively impacting tissue healing and immune responses. This study underscores the urgency of a holistic approach that integrates psychological, spiritual, and medical dimensions in healthcare services. The results showed that there are differences in perspectives on several ethical issues, where women tend to emphasize the values of social justice and diversity, while men focus more on compliance with formal regulations. This research is expected to provide deeper insights into gender dynamics in the legal world and its contribution to the development of a more inclusive and equitable legal professional ethics.
