ses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data was obtained from Indonesian teachers, homeroom teachers, and students as the main informants. The results of the study show that students' language attitudes vary, ranging from very positive to less appreciative of the use of Indonesian. Students with a positive attitude are more active in using Indonesian in learning and have better listening and reading skills. On the other hand, students with negative attitudes tend to be passive, less confident, and more dominant in using regional languages in daily communication. Environmental factors, material relevance, teaching methods, and learning experiences greatly influence the formation of students' language attitudes. This study confirms that language attitudes are an important factor in the success of Indonesian language learning. These findings are expected to be the basis for teachers and schools to design learning strategies that are more communicative, contextual, and able to foster students' positive attitudes towards the Indonesian language

udents’ learning difficulties from three main perspectives: psychological factors, learning strategies, and learning management at the Institute of Islamic Studies (Institut Agama Islam) Padang Lawas. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, involving observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis. The participants consisted of undergraduate students and lecturers selected through purposive sampling. The findings reveal that students’ learning difficulties are strongly influenced by psychological factors such as low learning motivation, academic anxiety, limited self-confidence, and weak self-regulated learning skills. In addition, the dominance of conventional teaching strategies and limited student-centered learning practices contribute to low engagement and conceptual understanding. From a learning management perspective, constraints related to instructional planning, classroom organization, and evaluation systems further exacerbate students’ learning difficulties. This study highlights the importance of integrating psychologically informed instructional strategies and effective learning management to enhance students’ academic performance in Islamic higher education contexts.

mentation of learning theories and instructional methods across multiple subject areas, including basic legal awareness, listening skills in language learning, mathematics learning methodology, elementary school mathematics, educational assessment, and educational evaluation. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach and was conducted at SD Negeri No. 101390 Batang Pane-I, Desa Batang Pane-I. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews with teachers, and documentation analysis. The findings indicate that student-centered and contextual teaching methods grounded in constructivist learning theory enhance student engagement and conceptual understanding across subjects. Moreover, formative assessment and reflective evaluation practices play a crucial role in improving instructional quality and learning outcomes. The study highlights the importance of integrating pedagogical theory, subject methodology, and assessment as a unified framework for effective elementary education.
Abstract:Boredom in the learning process at elementary schools (SD) is a significant factor in declining student motivation and academic achievement. In regions with unique geographical and cultural characteristics, such as Papua,…
, this challenge is often exacerbated by the limitations of conventional learning media and teaching methods, which tend to be monotonous. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of active learning model innovation as a strategic solution to increase elementary school students' learning motivation. The research method used is library research by analyzing literature from the last 10 years and integrating observational case studies from an elementary school in Nabire, Papua. The results show that the implementation of Game-Based Learning and Outdoor Collaborative Learning models can significantly reduce student boredom levels. The case in Papua shows that the use of local wisdom (ethno-pedagogy) as part of active learning increases student engagement by up to 50%. Analysis of literature data confirms that physical and emotional involvement in learning strengthens memory retention and intrinsic interest. The conclusion of this research affirms that teachers must transform from information providers to creative facilitators to create a dynamic classroom ecosystem. The proposed solutions include diversifying activity-based methods and adapting environment-based curricula to ensure the sustainability of children's learning motivation at the elementary education level.

y and literature analysis, the research was conducted at SDN No. 100311 Palsabolas, involving teachers and students who utilized adaptive reading applications, text-to-speech tools, and intelligent learning platforms. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis, and validated by triangulation techniques. The findings reveal that AI-assisted media significantly improve students’ reading motivation, comprehension, and fluency. Quantitative comparison between pretest and posttest results showed notable progress, with the average literacy score increasing by 16–27 points across different indicators. Students demonstrated greater engagement and independence, while teachers benefited from automated performance analytics and personalized feedback tools. However, challenges emerged related to device limitations, technical competence, and overreliance on automated features. The study concludes that AI-based learning media serve not only as technological tools but also as pedagogical instruments that personalize instruction, foster digital literacy, and transform reading classrooms into more adaptive, interactive, and student-centered environments.
Abstract:This study analyzes the interpersonal language actions used by students in class interactions at SMP Negeri 5 Manuju with the Functional Systemic Linguistics (LSF) approach. This approach emphasizes the role of language…
as a tool to build social meaning and facilitate interaction in the context of learning. The purpose of the research is to understand how students use language to communicate, coordinate, and negotiate meaning in learning activities. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection through direct observation of classroom interactions, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation in the form of recordings and field notes. Data analysis is carried out interactively through the stages of collection, reduction, presentation, and extraction of meaning from interpersonal utterances that appear in learning. The results showed that students' interpersonal language actions were realized through three types of mood clauses: interrogative, used to ask questions and ask for clarification; declarative, used to convey an opinion or information; and imperative, used to direct group work with mitigation to maintain social harmony. The function of this language act is not only to convey information, but also to build social relationships, organize group collaboration, and provide subtle approval or support. These findings provide an overview of how language plays a role in shaping communicative and collaborative interactions in the classroom.

al schools in Makassar City. The deep learning approach is seen as an innovative learning strategy that emphasizes high-level thinking processes, active engagement, and deep reflection on teaching materials. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation of learning activities, interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of learning outcome documents. The results of the study show that the application of the deep learning approach contributes positively to improving the quality of learning interactions and students' metacognitive awareness. Students show high ability to identify problems, analyze arguments, draw logical conclusions, and reflect on the learning process. Deep learning-based learning also strengthens collaborative interaction patterns in the classroom and encourages students' intellectual independence. Thus, the deep learning approach is relevant to be applied in Indonesian language learning in high school to foster critical, reflective, and literacy skills in accordance with the demands of 21st century education.

h teachers, and document analysis, the research found that deep learning applications significantly improved student engagement and individualized learning outcomes. However, ethical concerns emerged regarding data privacy, unequal access to digital tools, and limited teacher preparedness. Teachers expressed uncertainty in balancing technological autonomy with moral and pedagogical control. The study concludes that while deep learning supports more adaptive and inclusive learning environments, its ethical implementation remains constrained by insufficient institutional policies and digital literacy. Strengthening teacher competence and establishing transparent ethical frameworks are crucial for ensuring responsible AI integration in primary education. These findings provide practical insights into balancing innovation and ethics in early educational contexts.

stained professional learning experiences contribute to teachers’ pedagogical transformation from content transmitters to learning facilitators. Employing a qualitative case study design, data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis involving four STEM teachers who participated in a year-long CPD program. The findings reveal that CPD fostered significant changes in teachers’ beliefs toward student-centered learning and encouraged more interactive, inquiry-based classroom practices. However, challenges such as limited institutional support and resource constraints still hindered full pedagogical implementation. The study highlights the importance of contextualized CPD programs in developing reflective and adaptive STEM educators, offering insights for policymakers and practitioners seeking to enhance teacher professionalism in developing-country contexts.
