Abstract:Adolescents are a vulnerable group to the risks of sexual violence and HIV transmission due to limited sexual literacy, insufficient access to accurate reproductive health information, and strong socio-cultural taboos surrounding…
rrounding sexuality. Comprehensive interventions are needed to equip adolescents with adequate knowledge, attitudes, and gender-sensitive decision-making skills. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of a PLISSIT-based Comprehensive Sexual Education intervention in improving adolescents’ attitudes toward HIV transmission prevention from a gender equality perspective. This quasi-experimental study involved 100 students selected through simple random sampling and divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group received four PLISSIT-based educational sessions integrating gender equality principles, while the control group received conventional sexual education. Data were collected using pre- and post-test questionnaires and analyzed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The results showed a substantial improvement in adolescents’ attitudes after the intervention. Prior to the intervention, only 18% of students demonstrated good attitudes toward HIV prevention, while 82% were categorized as poor. After the intervention, 90% of students in the experimental group showed good attitudes, and only 10% remained in the poor category, with a statistically significant difference (p = 0.001). These findings indicate that the PLISSIT-based comprehensive sexual education model is effective in shaping positive attitudes by providing a safe space for discussion, relevant information, and gender-responsive guidance. In conclusion, the PLISSIT-based intervention significantly enhances adolescents’ attitudes toward HIV prevention and can serve as a strategic approach in school-based reproductive health education.
Abstract:This study investigates the forms and functions of illocutionary acts in the film Norah (2023) using a qualitative descriptive approach. The research problem centers on how dialogic interactions and rural Saudi socio-cultural…
tural contexts shape the distribution of illocutionary types. Data were collected via observation and note-taking, then classified according to Searle’s five categories (assertive, directive, commissive, expressive, declarative) and analyzed through three stages: data collection, analysis, and presentation. The findings reveal that illocutionary speech acts in the film Norah are dominated by directives in the form of commands, prohibitions, and invitations, which highlight the speaker’s role in controlling actions. In addition, expressive and commissive acts appear in the form of advice, requests, and polite expressions that function to maintain harmony and interpersonal closeness. Overall, the use of illocutionary acts in the film reflects social relations and the dynamics of everyday interaction in rural Arab society.

lage context. A quantitative explanatory research design was employed, using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The research was conducted in Nglanggeran Tourism Village, Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia, with data collection carried out in 2025. A total of 90 respondents were selected through purposive sampling based on their active involvement in village tourism activities. The three main constructs, namely multi-stakeholder collaboration, sustainable tourism management, and tourism activity resilience, were measured using a 5-point Likert scale instrument. PLS-SEM analysis was employed to evaluate the measurement and structural models, encompassing assessments of validity, reliability, R², Q², and hypothesis testing via bootstrapping. Findings indicate that multi-stakeholder collaboration has a positive and significant effect on both sustainable tourism management and tourism activity resilience. Sustainable tourism management also shows a positive and considerable influence on tourism activity resilience. Furthermore, a partial mediation effect was identified, wherein sustainable tourism management strengthens the impact of multi-stakeholder collaboration on the strength of tourism activities. Structured and inclusive multi-stakeholder collaboration, when integrated with sustainable tourism management practices, enhances the resilience of tourism activities in community-based destinations. These results underscore the crucial importance of collaborative governance and sustainable management practices in fostering destination sustainability and resilience.
Abstract:The principle of legality is a fundamental concept in the Indonesian criminal justice system, ensuring legal certainty and the protection of human rights from arbitrary criminal punishment. However, the rapid development…
of modern crimes often leads to legal gaps or vague norms that require judges to conduct judicial law-finding (rechtsvinding) when resolving criminal cases. This research aims to analyze the position of the principle of legality as a legal limit to judicial authority and examine how far judicial law-finding can be carried out without violating the essential principles of criminal law. This study employs a normative legal research method with a statute approach, conceptual approach, case approach, and historical approach. The results demonstrate that the principle of legality plays a crucial role in restricting judicial interpretation to prevent the creation of new offenses that may harm defendants and to ensure punishment can only be imposed based on pre-existing laws. Nonetheless, judicial law-finding remains necessary to address contemporary crimes that are not yet regulated under statutory law. Therefore, a proportional balance between legal certainty and substantive justice is required so that the principle of legality and judicial law-finding can work synergistically within Indonesia’s criminal justice system.

iation between maternal characteristics (parity, maternal age during pregnancy, age at marriage, birth spacing, education level, occupation, and exclusive breastfeeding) and family income with stunting among children under five. A cross-sectional design was employed involving 30 mothers of young children selected from the working area of Kayu Gadang Public Health Center. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and anthropometric measurements, and analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that 66.7% of the children were stunted. Maternal characteristics—including parity, maternal age during pregnancy, age at marriage, birth spacing, educational level, and occupation—were not significantly associated with stunting (p>0.05). Significant associations were found between exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.019) and family income (p=0.026) with stunting. Children from families earning below the regional minimum wage and those not exclusively breastfed were more likely to be stunted. In conclusion, exclusive breastfeeding and family income are significant predictors of stunting. Therefore, interventions should emphasize improving exclusive breastfeeding practices and strengthening economic support for at-risk families. These findings are expected to guide evidence-based stunting prevention strategies in Pesisir Selatan Regency.
