Deanidia, Tiffany, Supratikta, Hadi, Abidin, Ali Zaenal
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of workload, multiple role conflict, and work stress on job satisfaction and their impact on the performance of female employees (nurses) at Permata Pamulang Hospital. The background… of this research is based on the hospital’s unmet performance targets, high nursing workloads, the dominance of female employees, and the emergence of conflicts between work demands and family responsibilities that potentially increase stress and reduce job satisfaction. This research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consists of all female employees (nurses) at Permata Pamulang Hospital, with a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using path analysis to examine both direct and indirect relationships among variables. The results indicate that workload, multiple role conflict, and work stress have a significant effect on job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance and acts as an intervening variable in the relationship between workload, multiple role conflict, and work stress on performance. These findings suggest that improving nurses’ performance can be achieved through proportional workload management, reducing multiple role conflicts, and controlling work stress to enhance job satisfaction. This study is expected to provide managerial insights for hospital management in formulating human resource policies that emphasize work-life balance and employee well- being.

THE INFLUENCE OF CULTURAL CONTEXT ON LUXURY VALUE PERCEPTION AND PURCHASE INTENTION: A COMPARATIVE STUDY BETWEEN INDONESIA AND AUSTRALIA IN THE AFFORDABLE LUXURY FASHION SEGMENT

Lucky Roy Saputra, Putu Nina Madiawati, Mahir Pradana
Abstract: The rapid growth of the global affordable luxury fashion segment presents a critical paradox, as luxury brands increasingly target culturally diverse consumers who interpret the meaning of luxury in fundamentally different… nt ways. This phenomenon becomes particularly evident when comparing collectivist markets such as Indonesia with individualistic markets such as Australia, where uniform value propositions often fail to resonate equally. This study aims to examine the influence of cultural context on Luxury Value Perception (LVP) and Purchase Intention, as well as the moderating role of Individualism–Collectivism orientation among affordable luxury fashion consumers in Indonesia and Australia. A quantitative survey-based approach was employed and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), complemented by Measurement Invariance of Composite Models (MICOM) and Multi-Group Analysis (MGA). The findings are expected to provide empirical insights into how cultural differences shape luxury value perceptions and purchase intentions, offering strategic implications for affordable luxury fashion brands in developing culturally adaptive value propositions.

RESPONSE OF MUSLIM INTELLECTUAL GROUPS TO DUTCH COLONIAL EDUCATION IN THE EARLY 20TH CENTURY

Ahmad Sirfi Fatoni
Abstract: Islamic Education and Colonial Education are two methods to educate the Indonesian people, especially in Java. Islamic Education and Colonial Education have their own advantages for society. Islamic Education tends to be… more religious, while Colonial Education tends to be secular and liberal. Each education has a different teaching system because it has different goals and targets according to the interests of the government in power at that time. This research method uses a historical method that is based on four things as usual, namely: heuristics, criticism, verification and historiography. Because this event is a political history, the researcher uses a socio-political approach to analyze it. On the other hand, assisted by the challenge and response theory developed by Arnold Toynbe. According to this theory, culture occurs because of challenges and answers between humans and their surroundings. The results of this study indicate that the existence of racial and discriminatory Dutch colonial government education resulted in the emergence of forms of resistance in the field of education. This phenomenon results in the birth of Islamic boarding schools and private schools such as: Tebu Ireng Islamic Boarding School (1899), Tambak Beras Islamic Boarding School (1919) East Java, Krapyak Islamic Boarding School, Yogyakarta (1911), Sukamanah Islamic Boarding School, Cipasung Tasikmalaya, West Java (1930). As for private schools (private) namely Muhammadiyah School (1912), Taman Siswa (1922) and Nahdlatul Ulama (1926).

PSYCHOLOGICAL MECHANISMS BEHIND THE ACCEPTANCE OF DEEPFAKE-BASED HUMOR AND DIGITAL HARASSMENT

Kurrota Aini, Vidya Nindhita, Hapsari Puspita Rini
Abstract: The objective of this study was to examine how deepfake-based humor becomes socially acceptable despite its potential to function as digital harassment. This study focused on psychological mechanisms that explain audience… e tolerance and normalization of harmful, identity-based humorous content in online environments. This study used a scoping review design to map and synthesize existing research across psychology, media studies, and cyberpsychology. The sources were identified through searches in major academic databases and were selected based on their relevance to deepfake technology, digital humor, online harassment, and psychological processes such as moral disengagement, online disinhibition, empathy reduction, and social norm reinforcement. The results indicate that acceptance of deepfake-based humor is commonly supported by four interrelated mechanisms, namely normalization through participatory digital culture, psychological distancing that weakens empathy, moral ambiguity created by humorous framing, and reduced accountability through diffusion of responsibility in online spaces. In addition, the literature conceptualizes deepfake humor as a hybrid phenomenon situated between remix-based entertainment and identity-targeting harm, shaped by platform visibility and engagement dynamics. This review highlights that deepfake-based humor may be tolerated not because it is harmless, but because it is routinely framed as “just a joke,” making its harm easier to minimize and socially overlook. Therefore, this study emphasizes the need for more direct empirical research and stronger interventions to prevent deepfake-based humor from becoming a normalized form of digital harassment in increasingly synthetic digital environments.

Laila Juariyah, Bambang Sucipto
Abstract: Abstract The rapid growth of the Muslim fashion industry in Indonesia has intensified competition among Muslim fashion brands, particularly in the hijab segment. This intense competition requires companies to maintain high… high product quality and implement effective promotional strategies to create consumer satisfaction. Rabbani, as one of Indonesia’s national Muslim fashion brands, faces challenges related to declining consumer perceptions of product quality and promotional effectiveness, which have an impact on consumer satisfaction, especially in Rancaekek District, Bandung Regency. This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of product quality and promotion on consumer satisfaction among Rabbani hijab users in Rancaekek District, Bandung Regency, both partially and simultaneously. This research employs a quantitative approach using descriptive and verificative methods. The population of this study consists of consumers who use Rabbani hijabs in Rancaekek District, with a sample of 96 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Good product quality and attractive, well-targeted promotional strategies are able to enhance consumer satisfaction with Rabbani products. Therefore, it is recommended that Rabbani place greater emphasis on maintaining consistent product quality and optimizing promotional strategies to improve consumer satisfaction and loyalty amid increasingly competitive conditions in the Muslim fashion industry.

WOMEN ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN SMES: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW OF DIGITAL INNOVATION, GENDER EQUALITY, AND SUSTAINABLE GROWTH STRATEGIES

Asrijal Bintang, Ismail Rasulong, Kahar
Abstract: This systematic literature review explores the interconnected dimensions of digital innovation, gender equality, and sustainability in women-owned small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The primary aim is to synthesize… ze existing knowledge to address integration challenges these enterprises face. The researchers analyzed 436 peer-reviewed articles from the Scopus database, published between 2010 and 2025, using bibliometric and qualitative thematic techniques based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) methodology. Findings highlight that digital innovation significantly enhances market access, operational efficiency, and resource mobilization, empowering women entrepreneurs to overcome structural barriers. Gender equality initiatives play a crucial role in creating supportive ecosystems, promoting diverse leadership styles, and fostering inclusive organizational cultures conducive to sustainable business practices. Thematic analyses reveal specific success factors including robust social networks, targeted mentorship programs, and inclusive financial mechanisms. However, systemic barriers persist, notably limited access to capital, entrenched sociocultural biases, and insufficient digital literacy. Methodologically, research predominantly utilizes quantitative approaches, suggesting a need for integrated mixed-method frameworks to better capture nuanced entrepreneurial experiences. Geographical disparities indicate that women entrepreneurs face different challenges and opportunities across developed and developing contexts, underscoring the necessity for context-specific policy interventions. This review adds to our understanding by combining ideas from entrepreneurial ecosystem perspectives, Gender Empowerment Theories, and the Resource-Based View, providing a complete look at sustainable, fair, and digitally innovative business practices. Future research should focus on intersectional methodologies, longitudinal studies, and comparative analyses across diverse contexts.

DETECTION OF FINANCIAL TARGET, FINANCE STABILITY AND EXTERNAL PRESSURE FACTORS ON FRAUDULENT FINANCIAL REPORTING WITH MARKET CAPITALIZATION AS A MODERATOR VARIABLE IN MANUFACTURING COMPANIES

Monika Yovita, Budi Rustandi Kartawinata, Aldi Akbar
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of Financial Target, Financial Stability, and External Pressure on Financial Statement Fraud, with Market Capitalization as a moderating variable, in manufacturing companies listed on… n the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2017–2019. The research employs a quantitative approach using panel data regression analysis with the Common Effect Model (CEM) and the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) technique. The data were obtained from the financial statements of manufacturing companies that met the sampling criteria over a three-year observation period. The results indicate that Financial Target (ROA) has a positive and significant effect on financial statement fraud. Financial Stability (INVSAL and CATA) also shows a significant effect but in different directions: INVSAL increases, while CATA decreases the likelihood of fraudulent financial reporting. External Pressure (FREEC) has a negative and significant effect on financial statement fraud. The moderating variable, Market Capitalization, was found to strengthen the effect of CATA and weaken the effect of INVSAL on financial statement fraud. The R² value of 17.52% indicates that the research model explains a moderate portion of the variation in financial statement fraud among manufacturing firms in Indonesia. These findings support Agency Theory and the Fraud Triangle Theory, suggesting that financial pressure, stability, and external conditions play a crucial role in influencing the occurrence of financial statement fraud.

ELECTRONIC WORD OF MOUTH ANDA RELIGIOSITY ON PURCHSE INTENTION: THE MODERATING ROLE OF BRAND HATE AMONG STARBUCKS CONSUMERS IN INDONESIA

Shilmy Diyani, Putu Nina Madiawati, Nurafni Rubiyanti
Abstract: The emergence of consumer boycotts driven by socio-political issues reflects a fundamental shift in consumer behavior in the digital era. In Indonesia, a country characterized by high religiosity and extensive social media… ia engagement, the rapid dissemination of negative information through electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) can trigger strong emotional reactions toward brands. Starbucks Indonesia represents a salient case in which the brand became associated with the Israel–Palestine conflict, generating moral debates, religious sentiments, and intense brand-related hostility in digital spaces. In this context, consumers act not merely as rational economic actors, but as moral agents whose purchasing decisions are influenced by deeply held values and beliefs. This study aims to examine the effects of e-WOM and religiosity on purchase intention, with brand hate serving as a moderating variable among Starbucks consumers in Indonesia. Specifically, the research investigates how exposure to negative online narratives and consumers’ religiosity shape emotional responses in the form of brand hate, and how these responses influence purchasing intentions within a boycott context. A quantitative research design was employed using a survey method targeting Starbucks consumers in Indonesia who were aware of the boycott related to the Israel–Palestine conflict. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using structural equation modeling to assess both direct and indirect relationships among variables, including the moderating role of brand hate. This approach enables a comprehensive understanding of the psychological and behavioral mechanisms underlying consumer responses to value-laden and morally sensitive issues. The findings reveal that electronic word of mouth has a significant effect on purchase intention. Religiosity also influences purchase intention, both directly and indirectly through the formation of brand hate. Moreover, brand hate significantly moderates the relationship between e-WOM and purchase intention, such that higher levels of brand hate intensify the decline in consumers’ willingness to purchase. These results highlight the critical role of morally driven negative emotions in explaining reduced purchase intention during boycott movements. This study contributes theoretically by extending consumer behavior literature through the integration of digital communication, religiosity, and negative brand emotions within a single conceptual framework. Practically, the findings suggest that global brand managers should adopt culturally and religiously sensitive communication strategies and proactively manage digital narratives to mitigate the escalation of brand hate amid socio-political controversies.
