Abstract: This study examines the effect of financial performance and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on firm value in cement companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2020–2024. Financial performance… rformance is proxied by Return on Assets (ROA), while firm value is measured using Price to Book Value (PBV). CSR is measured through a disclosure index based on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards using content analysis. This research employs a quantitative associative approach with secondary data obtained from annual reports and sustainability reports of seven cement companies. Multiple linear regression analysis is used to test the hypotheses. The results indicate that ROA has a positive and significant effect on firm value, suggesting that efficient asset utilization enhances market perception. CSR disclosure also shows a positive and significant effect on firm value, supporting the legitimacy theory that socially responsible practices strengthen corporate reputation and investor confidence. These findings highlight the importance of integrating financial performance and sustainability strategies to enhance firm value, particularly in capital-intensive and environmentally sensitive industries such as cement.

Despite having strong market potential, sales performance… ce at The East Coffee has shown noticeable fluctuations. Sales records from November 2024 to October 2025 indicate that monthly revenue ranged from IDR 6,084,522 in March 2025 to IDR 10,726,758 in July 2025. This condition suggests that sales performance has not been stable and highlights the need to evaluate marketing strategies, especially pricing and promotion. This study aims to examine the effect of price and promotion on sales growth at The East Coffee Pangalengan. A quantitative approach with descriptive and verification methods was applied. The sample consisted of 72 respondents, selected using incidental sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS, including validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, t-tests, F-tests, and coefficient of determination analysis. The descriptive results show that Price (76%), Promotion (80%), and Sales Growth (74%) are perceived positively and categorized as strong. Verification analysis reveals that price has a positive and significant effect on sales growth (t = 8.017; Sig. = 0.000; β = 0.856), while promotion has a significant but negative effect (t = −2.346; Sig. = 0.022; β = −0.329). Simultaneously, price and promotion significantly influence sales growth (F = 90.421; Sig. = 0.000), with the model explaining 72.4% of the variance in sales growth (R² = 0.724). These findings indicate that sales growth at The East Coffee is more strongly driven by appropriate pricing perceptions, while promotional strategies require improvement to achieve more consistent and sustainable sales performance.

THE MEDIATING ROLE OF EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT ON THE EFFECT OF DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION (DEI) ON SOCIAL-ESG PERFORMANCE : A LITERATURE REVIEW

Sofia Yulmatri, Agung Surya Dwianto
Abstract: This literature review examines the mediating role of employee engagement in the relationship between Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) practices and corporate Social-ESG performance. Amidst the growing emphasis on… ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria, the social dimension, particularly DEI, is recognized as a strategic driver of sustainability. While prior research indicates positive links between DEI and social performance, and between DEI and employee engagement, the specific mechanism connecting these variables remains underexplored. This study synthesizes existing literature to propose and analyze a conceptual model where employee engagement acts as a key mediator. Grounded in Social Exchange Theory and the Job Demands-Resources model, the review finds that inclusive environments foster psychological safety, a sense of belonging, and empowerment, which significantly enhance employee engagement. This heightened engagement, in turn, motivates prosocial behaviors such as Organizational Citizenship Behavior, internal advocacy, and proactive innovation that directly improve measurable Social-ESG outcomes. The analysis concludes that the effect of DEI on Social-ESG performance is not merely direct but is substantially transmitted and amplified through the psychological state and subsequent behaviors of engaged employees. The study highlights the necessity for organizations to integrate DEI strategies with employee engagement initiatives to fully realize their social sustainability goals and provides a foundation for future empirical testing of this mediating relationship.
