Abstract: The objective of this research was to find out if using the poster may improve the students' English vocabulary at SMA YPPK St. Thomas Wamena. With a one-group pre- and post-test, this study used an experimental design.… The research instrument utilized the matching method, in which students were required to match pictures with the corresponding vocabulary items. The study was conducted at SMA YPPK St. Thomas Wamena, selecting the seventh-grade students as the population for the 2025/2026 academic year. The researcher applied a cluster sampling technique and selected 30 students as the research sample. Pre- and post-tests were given in order to gather data. Before and after the treatment, students' initial vocabulary mastery was measured with a pre-test, and their performance was evaluated with a post-test. The independent variable in this study was the use of posters, whereas the dependent variable was students’ vocabulary achievement. The findings of the data analysis of the students' vocabulary knowledge in the pre- and post-tests revealed that the t-test value was 17.40 and the t-table value was 2.045. Students' vocabulary competence improved significantly, as evidenced by the t-test value being greater than the t-table value (17.40 > 2.045). This result implies that the pre- and post-test results varied significantly.

Kogoya, Napius, Halitopo, Manase
Abstract: This study analyzes the phenomenon of homophone pyramid language in the Lani Tribe of Papua Pegunungan, revealing that homophones in the Lani language are not merely linguistic coincidences but embody unique phonological… patterns and semantic variations deeply connected to the tribe’s cultural and environmental context. Through descriptive linguistic analysis and field-based data collection, the study identifies several instances of lexical homophony such as tu (“door” / “road”), mayu (“rain” / “salt”), nengge (“eat” / “drink”), ngilu (“cucumber” / “snack”), eyo (“tree” / “barren”), kolee (“leader” / “older man”), abila (“pregnant” / “fat man”), and anuka (“head” / “Anuak tribe”). These examples demonstrate that meaning in the Lani language is primarily determined by contextual cues and pragmatic usage. The findings suggest that homophones in Lani function as linguistic features and cultural expressions that reflect the tribe’s perception of nature, community roles, and social identity. This research contributes to a broader understanding of Papuan linguistics and underscores the importance of preserving indigenous languages as repositories of cultural knowledge and intellectual heritage.

EFFECTIVENESS OF DEVELOPING DIGITAL TEACHING MATERIALS FOR INDONESIAN LANGUAGE FOR FOREIGN SPEAKERS (BIPA) 1 ON GRAMMAR COMPETENCY BASED ON THE ANIMAKER APPLICATION

Hasna Shofiyah, Dadang Mulyana, Any Budiarti, Wawan Hendrawan
Abstract: This research was motivated by the scarcity of Indonesian language teaching materials for foreign speakers (BIPA). The large interest of foreigners in learning Indonesian is still hampered by the lack of availability of… BIPA teaching materials. This limited teaching material is an important problem that teachers often face in BIPA learning activities. Therefore, the development of BIPA teaching materials is urgently needed. The problems studied in this research are (1) characteristics of BIPA 1 teaching materials currently used in BIPA learning, (2) development of BIPA 1 teaching materials based on the Animaker application as alternative teaching materials in BIPA learning, (3) feasibility of developing BIPA teaching materials 1 based on the Animaker application in BIPA learning, and (4) the effectiveness of developing BIPA 1 teaching materials based on the Animaker application based on BIPA learners' understanding. This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach. This research uses three data collection techniques, namely observation, questionnaires, and documentation to obtain data on the needs for developing teaching materials and evaluating teaching material prototypes. The data sources consist of BIPA teachers, BIPA students and expert lecturers. Data analysis in this research uses descriptive qualitative which consists of data presentation and data conclusions. The results of this research are that BIPA students often feel bored and confused by teaching materials that are only presented in the form of textbooks and very short material. Therefore, teaching materials need to be developed in accordance with Widodo and Jasmadi's theory of teaching material characteristics so that they can support independent learning, deeper understanding, contextualization of material, increased motivation, comprehensive language skills, adaptation to technological developments, learning flexibility, and strengthening skills. grammar. The development of teaching materials through Animaker shows the dominance of changes in substantial and visual aspects, which shows a comparison of characteristics between original and developed teaching materials. The teaching materials developed are more interactive and communicative, so that they can reduce boredom, increase understanding of the material, and increase enthusiasm for learning Indonesian for students

Silaban , Sondang, Kartikawati, Dwi, Wardana , R Daniel Wisnu
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the application of Feminine Energy among Generation Z female influencers in constructing self-identity on social media. Feminine Energy is understood as an energy that embodies empathy, gentleness,… ess, and emotional balance, which has become a symbol of women’s empowerment (soft empowerment) in the digital era. This phenomenon is significant as it reflects a shift in the meaning of femininity from physical appearance toward self-awareness and personal authenticity. The research employs a qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews and observations of social media content produced by influencers who express Feminine Energy values. The analysis draws on Social Identity Theory (Tajfel & Turner, 1979), which highlights the processes of categorization, identification, and social comparison. The findings reveal that the application of Feminine Energy manifests in five key aspects: self-love, confidence, empathetic communication, calm emotional expression, and healthy personal boundaries. Through social processes, influencers internalize these values as integral parts of their personal and digital identities. In conclusion, Feminine Energy is not only a lifestyle but also a social identity strategy used by Gen Z female influencers to build an authentic, empowered, and reflective self-image in the digital space.
