ORGANIZING AND IMPLEMENTING MARKETING OF EDUCATIONAL SERVICES IN ISLAMIC EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS: A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF THE LITERATURE

Rahman, Zaky, Zohriah, Anis, Muin, Abdul, Uyuni, Yuyun Rohmatul
Abstract: Although the discourse on educational marketing is theoretically established, empirical reality reveals a significant gap between strategic planning and operational execution. This failure is often rooted in weak resource… e organization and the inability to translate strategy into tactical action. This study aims to analyze and compare the organizational patterns and implementation of educational service marketing across institutional levels, including Madrasahs, Islamic Boarding Schools (Pesantren), and Islamic Higher Education Institutions. Using a library research method, data were collected through a systematic search of current academic literature (2015-2025) by adapting the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) selection flow to ensure data synthesis validity. Comparative analysis reveals distinct organizational model divergences: madrasahs tend to use ad-hoc committee structures, pesantrens rely on the centrality of the Kiai's charismatic leadership as the primary brand ambassador, while higher education institutions are adopting professional, permanent marketing units. Nevertheless, the convergence of success across all three entities lies in the integration of Islamic values within the 7P marketing mix and the vital role of Human Resources as the forefront of service delivery. This study implies the urgency of a managerial transformation from an incidental approach to the institutionalization of sustainable marketing functions to bridge the execution gap and build public trust.

Simultaneously, service quality and consumer satisfaction significantly affect purchase decisions, indicating that higher perceived service performance leads to greater customer satisfaction and ultimately strengthens purchasing decisions.

THE IMPACT OF INSTAGRAM INSIGHT UTILIZATION ON CONSUMER PURCHASE DECISIONS AT RUMAH MADU IN BANDAR LAMPUNG

Ilham Maulana Ramadhan, Suci Asfarani
Abstract: The rapid development of digital marketing has significantly transformed business strategies, particularly for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Instagram has evolved beyond a social networking platform into… a strategic marketing tool equipped with analytical features such as Instagram Insight. This study aims to examine the effect of Instagram Insight utilization on consumer purchase decisions at Rumah Madu, an MSME operating in Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. This research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected from 92 respondents through structured questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 27. The independent variable is the utilization of Instagram Insight, measured through three dimensions: follower demographic analysis, follower active time analysis, and content performance analysis. The dependent variable is consumer purchase decision. Statistical analysis includes validity and reliability testing, classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity), simple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results suggest that Instagram Insight functions primarily as an internal strategic evaluation tool rather than a direct determinant of consumer purchasing behavior. This study contributes to the digital marketing literature by highlighting the gap between analytic tool utilization and actual consumer conversion in MSMEs. Practical implications emphasize the need for better data interpretation skills and integrated marketing strategies beyond analytics usage alone.

Abstract: This study analyzes OPPO's global expansion strategy through the optimization of its technology supply chain within the framework of the Global Value Chain (GVC). The smartphone industry has experienced rapid growth in recent… ecent decades, with increasingly fierce competition among leading manufacturers. OPPO, a Chinese technology company founded in 2004 and part of BBK Electronics Corporation, has demonstrated significant competitiveness in the global market despite facing challenges in maintaining its market share from 2021 to 2024. This study uses a descriptive qualitative methodology, analyzing primary data from OPPO's official documents and secondary data from industry reports and academic literature. Findings show that OPPO implements production sharing in strategic geographic locations, with design and development centralized in China and manufacturing spread across countries that offer labor or infrastructure advantages. The study shows that OPPO's global expansion follows the Uppsala Model of internationalization, starting with culturally and geographically close markets such as Southeast Asia before expanding to more distant regions. Through technology-based supply chain optimization, digital integration, and the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI)-based coordination systems, OPPO has developed the ability to manage complex global networks while overcoming geopolitical challenges and supply chain disruptions. Lucky Roy Saputra, Putu Nina Madiawati, Mahir Pradana
Abstract: The rapid growth of the global affordable luxury fashion segment presents a critical paradox, as luxury brands increasingly target culturally diverse consumers who interpret the meaning of luxury in fundamentally different… nt ways. This phenomenon becomes particularly evident when comparing collectivist markets such as Indonesia with individualistic markets such as Australia, where uniform value propositions often fail to resonate equally. This study aims to examine the influence of cultural context on Luxury Value Perception (LVP) and Purchase Intention, as well as the moderating role of Individualism–Collectivism orientation among affordable luxury fashion consumers in Indonesia and Australia. A quantitative survey-based approach was employed and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), complemented by Measurement Invariance of Composite Models (MICOM) and Multi-Group Analysis (MGA). The findings are expected to provide empirical insights into how cultural differences shape luxury value perceptions and purchase intentions, offering strategic implications for affordable luxury fashion brands in developing culturally adaptive value propositions.
