Abstract:Visual perceptual ability is one of the important aspects of cognitive development in early childhood. This ability is related to children’s capacity to recognize, differentiate, interpret, and understand information received…
eceived through vision. It includes the recognition of shapes, colors, sizes, patterns, and visual relationships, which are essential for children’s learning readiness. This study aims to improve the visual perceptual abilities of children aged 5–6 years at TK Sarantau Sasurambi through smartboard-based learning. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method conducted in several cycles, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were children aged 5–6 years. The research instruments included observation sheets of visual perceptual abilities (visual discrimination, visual memory, matching, sequencing, spatial relations, and eye–hand coordination), observation sheets on the use of the smartboard, and field notes. The results showed an improvement in visual perceptual abilities from the pre-cycle to Cycle I and Cycle II. Children’s mastery in the pre-cycle reached only 45%, increased to 65% in Cycle I, and reached 88% in Cycle II. The use of smartboards proved effective as it offers interactive and engaging visual learning experiences and facilitates children’s direct manipulation of objects. Therefore, smartboard-based learning is highly effective in improving the visual perceptual abilities of children aged 5–6 years.

in in-depth data from teachers and students regarding the obstacles they face during the English learning process. The results of the study indicate that the main factors influencing students' limited speaking and listening skills include lack of practice, minimal use of interesting learning media, and internal factors such as lack of self-confidence and less than optimal pronunciation. These findings provide an important overview of the need to develop more effective and innovative learning strategies to improve students' communication skills in English at the elementary level. It is hoped that the results of this study can be a reference for educators and educational institutions in improving the quality of English teaching in elementary schools.
Abstract:This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of group learning methods in improving the English skills of sixth-grade students at SD Negeri 060878. Using a qualitative approach involving direct interviews, questionnaires,…
s, and documentation, this study identified three main problems that hinder the success of group learning: gender differences affecting group formation, difficulty ensuring the active participation of each member, and relatively long time for group management. The results of the study indicate that these problems cause group learning to be less effective and have an impact on the decline in students' English skills. Therefore, strategies such as forming inclusive groups, clear division of tasks, the use of participatory observation instruments, the utilization of technology, and the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning approach are recommended to improve the effectiveness of group learning and students' English skills. This study provides an important contribution to developing English teaching methods at the elementary school level by considering social aspects and more effective classroom management.

Abstract: The ability to speak English is very important, especially for coastal communities such as those on Tegal Island, which has tourism potential. However, students at the Pesona Pulau Tegal Community Learning Center (PKBM)…
KBM) still have difficulty communicating, especially in English, because learning has tended to be conventional, focusing on memorization and grammar rather than practical communication. This creates a gap between the need for speaking skills and the teaching methods used, reinforcing students' fear and lack of confidence. Based on these issues, this Community Service activity aims to improve students' speaking skills through the application of the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) method integrated with the Playful English approach, which involves enjoyable learning through games, role-play, and creative activities. The methods used include guided speaking exercises, conversation simulations, and collaborative projects such as creating promotional posters for beach tourism in English. The results show a significant improvement in students' fluency, confidence, and active participation. Students began to speak more boldly, practice simple sentences, and express ideas spontaneously. The classroom atmosphere became livelier and more enjoyable with minimal psychological barriers such as fear of making mistakes. The implications of this activity are that the CLT approach combined with elements of joy can serve as an effective learning model in non-formal institutions. This method not only enhances language skills but also empowers students socially and emotionally, and can be replicated in similar communities.

o access funding. This study aims to assist Al Huda Plastic and Baking Supplies Store in Kebumen in preparing financial statements in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM). This topic was chosen due to the importance of accounting literacy in managing small businesses, as the understanding of MSME actors regarding accounting standards is still relatively low. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach, utilizing observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results show that Al Huda Store has been recording its finances manually. However, these records do not yet cover the components of financial statements required by SAK EMKM, such as the income statement, statement of financial position, and notes to the financial statements. The preparation of financial statements based on these standards has been carried out and demonstrates more accurate and structured financial information. In conclusion, the implementation of financial statements based on SAK EMKM in MSMEs plays a very important role in increasing accountability and quality in business decision-making. The results of this study also provide practical examples that can be used as references and re-applied by other MSMEs with similar characteristics

ion programs is determined not only by the availability of educational access but also by learners’ participation in the learning process. This study aims to analyze the strengthening of educational access and learner participation through the equivalency education program at PKBM Minda Utama, Bandung City. The study employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving PKBM managers, tutors, and learners. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, consisting of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that educational access was strengthened through flexible learning schedules, simplified administrative requirements, and continuous program socialization to the community. Learner participation was reflected in active engagement during learning activities, supported by communicative, contextual, and needs-based learning approaches. The success of the program was supported by managerial commitment, tutor competence, and increasing public awareness of the importance of education, while economic constraints, work demands, and limited facilities remained challenges. The study concludes that educational access and learner participation are interrelated dimensions that determine the success of equivalency education programs. Therefore, strengthening both dimensions should be viewed as an integrated effort to improve the effectiveness of equivalency education and support lifelong learning

tourism management largely depends on the capacity of human resources and local institutions. This study aims to analyze the role of community-based nature tourism management training in improving individual capacities and strengthening the institutional capacity of the Giri Puspa Forest Farmer Group (Kelompok Tani Hutan/KTH) as the manager of Lembah Puspa Educamp in West Bandung Regency. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Research informants consisted of the group leader, management board members, KTH members, training facilitators, and tourism development partners selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, including data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the training contributed significantly to improving participants’ competencies in tour guiding, visitor services, tourism safety, environmental interpretation, and digital marketing. Furthermore, the training strengthened institutional capacity through enhanced coordination, task distribution, member participation, and collective decision-making processes. The program also supported the implementation of Community Based Tourism (CBT) principles, as reflected in increased community involvement in tourism management and destination development. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including limited funding, inadequate supporting facilities, and unequal competency levels among group members. The study concludes that training serves as a strategic instrument for community empowerment and institutional strengthening to support sustainable community-based nature tourism management
