Abstract:This study aims to understand the effect of underhand passing training using a wall as a medium on underhand passing ability in children aged 10-12 years. This study is an experimental study using the One Groups Pretest-Posttest…
Posttest Design method. The sample in this study were 15 athletes of the Putri Angin Kuantan Singingi Club aged 10-12 years. The instrument in this study was a volleyball underhand passing skill test for ages 10-12 years. Data analysis and testing of research hypotheses using the t-test analysis technique (t-test) using the SPSS 23 program, namely by comparing the mean between the pretest and posttest with the hypothesis acceptance criteria if the t count value is greater than the t table with a significance of 5%. The results showed that: Underhand passing training using a wall as a medium on underhand passing ability in children aged 10-12 years at the Putri Angin Kuantan Singingi Club had a significant effect. These results were proven by data analysis using prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing. The results of the hypothesis testing obtained in the study were t count = 10.614> t table = 2.145 and a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. These results indicate that the t count value is greater than the t table. It can be concluded that there is an effect of underhand passing using wall media on underhand passing ability in children aged 10-12 years at the Putri Angin Kuantan Singingi Club.

Abstract:Diabetes mellitus is a disease characterized by increased glucose levels that over time cause serious damage to the heart, blood vessels, eyes and kidneys ( World Health Organization) in 2024. Compliance is the degree to…
which a person carries out health-related behavior, either taking medication, following diet therapy and changing lifestyle according to recommendations given by health workers. Diet or nutritional therapy is used to regulate the patient's food intake so that it remains fulfilled and does not result in an increase in blood sugar so that it is necessary to regulate the schedule, type and amount of food as nutrition. This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between health locus of control and compliance with diet in patients with diabetes mellitus in the Kabila Health Center work area. The design in this study is quantitative correlational. The sampling technique in this study used the non-probability sampling method with a total sample of 52 diabetes mellitus participants at the Kabila Health Center. The instrument used in the study used a questionnaire instrument with open questions about the variable health locus of control and compliance with the diet of patients with diabetes mellitus. Based on the results of the study, there is a relationship between health locus of control and compliance with diet in diabetes mellitus patients in the Kabila Health Center work area, with a significance value or p-value showing 0.000 (p <0.05). This is based on the alternative Fisher exact test because there are 3 cells with an expect count value <5.
Abstract:This study aims to develop an instrument to assess the effectiveness of a religious character education program in addressing the moral degradation of students. The research employs a development model (research and design)…
gn) based on primary data collected through a questionnaire consisting of 20 statements aligned with 10 indicators of character education. These indicators include understanding religious values, internalization of values, honesty, responsibility, tolerance, consistency in religious attitudes, social care, discipline in spiritual relationships, and satisfaction with the program. The research instrument uses a rating scale ranging from 1 to 5 and is validated by three education experts from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP). The sample consists of 25 first-semester students from the 2024-2025 academic year, class 1A of the Agribusiness Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Untirta. Data analysis includes content validity testing using Aiken’s V formula and intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) for reliability testing. Empirical validity testing employs product moment analysis, and reliability testing uses Cronbach's alpha, analyzed using SPSS version 23. The findings reveal that: (1) Based on the content validity test, out of 20 statement items, 16 items demonstrate very high validity, and 4 items show 2 high validity, with an average content validity score of 1.000, interpreted as very high. The reliability test using intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) yields an average measure of 0.971, indicating excellent instrument reliability. (2) From the empirical test results, out of 20 items, 19 items are valid, and 1 item is invalid, with a Cronbach's alpha value of 0.853 (>0.7), confirming the instrument's reliability. Therefore, the validated questionnaire consisting of 20 items is deemed suitable for measuring the effectiveness of the religious character education program
Abstract:This study aims to determine the effect of training using rubber weights and with-out weights on the speed of the PSHT Tanah Putih Tanjung Melawan pencak silat sickle kick. This study is an experimental study using the True…
rue experiment design method. The sample in this study was 14 female athletes. The instrument in this study was a 10-second sickle kick speed test with 3 trials and the best value was taken. Data analysis and testing of the research hypothesis used the t-test analysis technique (t-test) with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of the study showed that: (1) there was an increase in the speed of the sickle kick after athletes followed a training program using rubber weights with an average value of 13.71 in the pre-test and increased by 6.72 or 7% to 20.43 in the post-test. The statistical results showed that the sig-2 tailed value was 0.000 ≤ 0.05. (2) there is an increase in the speed of the sickle kick after the athlete follows a training program without rubber weights with an average value of 13.43 in the pre-test increasing by 5% to 18.43 in the post-test. With statistical results showing that the sig-2 tailed value is 0.000 ≤ 0.05. (3) there is an increase in kick speed between training using rubber weights and without weights with a sig-2 tailed value of 0.013 ≤ 0.05. It can be concluded that training using rubber weights is more effective in increasing the speed of the sickle kick compared to training without rubber weights in the Pen-cak Silat PSHT Ranting Tanah Putih Tanjung Melawan.
Abstract:Sunnah cupping (hijamah) is a therapeutic practice rooted in Islamic tradition and widely acknowledged for its health benefits. However, improper sterilization of cupping instruments poses a significant risk of blood-borne…
ne infections such as hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV. This study aims to explore the importance of equipment sterilization in sunnah cupping using a literature review approach. The method involves systematic thematic analysis of publications from 2010–2025 covering medical science, Islamic bioethics, and traditional health practices. Findings reveal that proper sterilization is crucial to preventing cross-contamination, and it aligns with Islamic ethical imperatives based on la darar wa la dirar and hifzh al-nafs. The discussion emphasizes the integration of Islamic values with modern medical standards and calls for structured education, practitioner training, and regulatory oversight. In conclusion, sterilization in sunnah cupping is not merely a technical requirement but a moral and religious obligation to ensure patient safety and uphold the integrity of prophetic medicine in the modern healthcare system.

he research method used is a quantitative approach with survey techniques. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire distributed to 30 respondents who are coastal communities, supplemented by limited interviews to enrich the data. The analysis technique used is simple linear regression to determine the effect of the effectiveness of education (independent variable) on the level of welfare of coastal communities (dependent variable). The results of the analysis show that there is a strong, positive, and significant relationship between the effectiveness of education and community welfare, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.72. This means that 72% of the variation in coastal community welfare can be explained by the effectiveness of education, while the rest is influenced by other external factors. This study shows that education that is right on target, locally based, and contextual has a major contribution in increasing community capacity in managing marine resources sustainably. Therefore, strengthening education in coastal areas is an important strategy in efforts to improve the quality of life and empower the economy of coastal communities.
