RESPONSE OF MUSLIM INTELLECTUAL GROUPS TO DUTCH COLONIAL EDUCATION IN THE EARLY 20TH CENTURY

Ahmad Sirfi Fatoni
Abstract: Islamic Education and Colonial Education are two methods to educate the Indonesian people, especially in Java. Islamic Education and Colonial Education have their own advantages for society. Islamic Education tends to be… more religious, while Colonial Education tends to be secular and liberal. Each education has a different teaching system because it has different goals and targets according to the interests of the government in power at that time. This research method uses a historical method that is based on four things as usual, namely: heuristics, criticism, verification and historiography. Because this event is a political history, the researcher uses a socio-political approach to analyze it. On the other hand, assisted by the challenge and response theory developed by Arnold Toynbe. According to this theory, culture occurs because of challenges and answers between humans and their surroundings. The results of this study indicate that the existence of racial and discriminatory Dutch colonial government education resulted in the emergence of forms of resistance in the field of education. This phenomenon results in the birth of Islamic boarding schools and private schools such as: Tebu Ireng Islamic Boarding School (1899), Tambak Beras Islamic Boarding School (1919) East Java, Krapyak Islamic Boarding School, Yogyakarta (1911), Sukamanah Islamic Boarding School, Cipasung Tasikmalaya, West Java (1930). As for private schools (private) namely Muhammadiyah School (1912), Taman Siswa (1922) and Nahdlatul Ulama (1926).

In practice, the effectiveness of administrative… ive services is still influenced by variations in employee competency and the quality of the system used. This study aims to analyze the influence of HR competency and SIMRS quality on the effectiveness of administrative services at MM Indramayu Hospital. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study population included all non-medical support staff who use SIMRS, totaling 84 respondents, so a saturated sampling technique was used. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The analysis results show that HR competency has a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of administrative services (t = 7.075; p < 0.05). SIMRS quality also has a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of administrative services (t = 6.781; p < 0.05). Simultaneously, human resource competency and the quality of the Hospital Management Information System (MISRS) had a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of administrative services (F = 28.257; p < 0.05) with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.411. This study concludes that improving the effectiveness of hospital administrative services requires synergy between adequate human resource competency and good quality of the SIMRS. Future research is recommended to examine other factors beyond the research model to gain a more comprehensive understanding

Sukamta, Nuraini Retnaningrum, Jacky S B Sumarauw, Merlyn Mourah Karuntu, Magdalena Wullur, Ferdinand J Temewu, Shinta Jeanete Camelia Wangke
Abstract: Previous studies have shown that the Critical Path Method (CPM) and the Project Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) are effective in optimizing project completion time. Based on observations, the construction of a single… ingle housing unit typically requires 64 working days. This study aims to obtain an optimal scheduling result by applying CPM and PERT to the construction project of a subsidized house type-36 in Perumahan Malimbukan Permai III, North Minahasa Regency. The analysis results indicate that the project’s critical path consists of A – B – C – D – E – F – H – K – L – M – N – P – Q. Using the CPM method, the required completion time is 55 days, while the PERT method yields an estimated 55.68 days. With a deadline of 60 days, the probability of completing the project is 99.94%. This study highlights the importance of monitoring the critical path and utilizing time estimation in project planning to prevent delays and unforeseen obstacles.
