BRIDGING FINANCIAL AND DIGITAL COMPETENCES WITH INVESTMENT RISK THROUGH THE MEDIATING POWER OF INFORMATION DISCLOSURE

Indrasari, Elizabeth Sastrina, Soma, Abdul Mukti
Abstract: Digital technologies are changing rapidly, and this has changed the financial services industry, especially how people decide where to invest their money. This study looks at how digital literacy, financial literacy, and… fear of missing out (FOMO) affect how much risk young investors are willing to take when investing with information disclosure as a mediating variable. The research data is taken from 447 investors of Gen Y and Z in West Java and used Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLSSEM). The results show that being financially literate makes people more likely to search for financial information, but it also makes them less willing to take risks when investing. This suggests that people who know a lot about money are more careful when they invest. On the other hand, FOMO has a positive effect on both information searching and risk tolerance, showing how emotions can affect people online. Digital literacy helps people be more willing to take risks, but it does not have a big effect on how much information they search. These results show how important cognitive and emotional factors are in determining how people act when it comes to IT-driven finances. The study helps with responsible digital transformation by showing how important it is for individuals to be ready to navigate fintech ecosystems. It also gives regulators, platform providers, and educators ideas on how to promote more informed and resilient investment practices.

Abstract: This study explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the development of the heritage tourism destination Taman Sari Yogyakarta. As a cultural site with rich historical and architectural values, Taman Sari… ri has great potential to become a leading historical tourism destination through the application of modern digital technologies. This research is highly relevant in the context of the Society 5.0 era, where digital transformation and multi-stakeholder collaboration through the pentahelix model (government, academia, business sector, community, and media) are key approaches in sustainable tourism governance. The objectives of this research are: (1) to identify the potential of AI application in enhancing the attractiveness of Taman Sari as a heritage tourism site, (2) to analyze the role of local communities in the digital transformation of the destination, and (3) to formulate a structured collaborative strategy for the development of AI based heritage destinations. The research employs a qualitative method using data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Informants included representatives from government, local communities, academia, tourism businesses, and tourists. Thematic analysis was used to interpret the data and identify patterns and meanings related to stakeholder participation and partnership. The findings indicate that AI can serve as a tool for cultural preservation and enhancement of tourist experiences, through features such as historical chatbots and augmented reality. However, challenges remain, including limited infrastructure, low digital literacy among local communities, and weak inter-stakeholder collaboration. The study also finds that local communities have the potential to act as agents of digital literacy if actively involved in training programs and AI-based tourism management. The research concludes that developing heritage tourism destinations like Taman Sari requires strong synergy among stakeholders through the formation of inclusive digital collaboration forums. WHEN WEIGHT DETERMINES CHILDBIRTH CHOICES: A DESCRIPTIVE STUDY OF OBESE PREGNANT WOMEN AT REGIONAL HOSPITAL DR. H. ABDUL MOELOEK OF LAMPUNG

Juwita Desri Ayu, Sugiarto
Abstract: Obesity in mothers is a major worldwide health issue that significantly raises the need for obstetric procedures, especially cesarean sections. Numerous difficulties for both mothers and newborns have been linked to elevated… ated pre-pregnancy and gestational body mass indexes (BMI). The purpose of this study is to characterize the distribution of delivery methods among pregnant women who are obese at Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Regional Hospital in Lampung Province, Indonesia. Total sampling was used to perform a quantitative, descriptive retrospective analysis. 58 pregnant women with a BMI of 30 kg/m² or above who gave birth between 2017 and 2023 were included. SPSS version 27.0 was utilized for data analysis. Findings out of the 58 instances that could be analyzed, 69.0% of obese pregnant women gave delivery via cesarean section, 27.6% gave birth spontaneous vaginally, and 3.4% had a vacuum induction. The majority (31.0%) were between the ages of 35 and 39, and 77.6% were multiparous. The type of delivery was found to be strongly influenced by maternal age, parity, and obesity. Being obese greatly raises the risk of having a cesarean section, especially for older and multiparous women. Reducing needless cesarean rates and improving mother and newborn outcomes may be possible with early treatments such as lifestyle modification education, prenatal counseling, and BMI-based risk assessment.

THE LEGAL POLITICS OF THE FORMATION OF JOB CREATION LAW WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF RESPONSIVE LAWS

Febriana, Lega Rahayu, Setiadi , Wicipto, Ahsin Thohari, Ahmad
Abstract: The introduction of the omnibus methodology to Indonesian lawmaking through the Job Creation Law has generated intense scholarly debate over the balance between regulatory efficiency and democratic legitimacy. Drawing on… Nonet and Selznick’s responsive law theory, this study examines the legal politics underpinning the formation of Law No. 11 of 2020, PERPPU No. 2 of 2022, and Law No. 6 of 2023 within Indonesia’s civil‐law framework. Using normative legal research methods including statutory interpretation, constitutional doctrinal analysis, and comparative legal study this article traces the procedural trajectory from initial draft to successive judicial reviews (Decision Nos. 91/PUU-XVIII/2020 and 168/PUU-XXI/2023). The findings reveal systemic procedural deficiencies: exclusion of affected stakeholders, lack of meaningful public participation, and executive reliance on emergency powers instead of mandated legislative revision. The Constitutional Court’s interventions have served as corrective “strange attractors,” introducing “meaningful participation” requirements (right to be heard, right to be considered, and right to explanation) and compelling the government to adopt legislative reforms. However, persistent executive resistance underscores enduring tensions between efficiency‐oriented omnibus reforms and procedural legitimacy. The study concludes that forthcoming legislative efforts particularly the mandated separate Employment Law will determine whether Indonesia’s legal system advances toward genuinely responsive law or reverts to repressive practices. These insights hold broader significance for comparative constitutionalism and the global discourse on omnibus legislation in developing democracies.

EXPLORING A MODERATED MEDIATION MODEL OF SITUATIONAL CONTEXT AND BRAND IMAGE ON PURCHASE INTENTION VIA ELECTRONIC WORD OF MOUTH (EWOM) A CASE STUDY OF SHOPEE IN WEST JAVA

Rahman, Abdul, Mahir Pradana, Arry Widodo
Abstract: E-commerce has become one of the most dynamic industries in the digital era, and electronic word of mouth (eWOM) greatly influences consumer behaviour. Shopee, as a popular e-commerce platform in West Java, faces challenges… ges in increasing user purchase intention, particularly with an approach based on review communication and brand image. The objective of this research is to examine how eWOM credibility, quantity, and quality impact purchase intention, with brand image as the mediating variable and situational context as the moderating variable in the study of the Shopee application in West Java. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM) method. Data were collected from 500 respondents who are users of the Shopee application in West Java. The research results show that eWOM quantity has the greatest influence on purchase intention, followed by brand image, which has been shown to be a significant mediator. On the other hand, eWOM credibility and quality do not have a direct impact on purchase intention. Furthermore, situational context as a moderating variable does not have a significant impact on the relationship between eWOM quantity and brand image. This study helps e-commerce businesses create better data-driven marketing strategies. To build trust and encourage customer purchasing decisions, it is important to increase the number of reviews, enhance brand reputation, and improve the quality and credibility of the reviews.

EXPLORING PERSONAL INNOVATIVENESS AS A DRIVING FACTOR IN THE TECHNOLOGY ACCEPTANCE MODEL FOR MYTELKOMSEL IMPROVING

Yulianti, Dira, Noviaristanti, Siska
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the role of Personal Innovativeness in influencing the actual use of the MyTelkomsel application through an extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). In this model, Personal Innovativeness is… positioned as a core construct that influences three key user perceptions: Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Usefulness, and Perceived Enjoyment. A total of 355 respondents participated in the study, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that seven out of eight hypothesized paths between constructs in the model demonstrate statistically significant effects. The only non-significant relationship is found between Perceived Ease of Use and Attitude Toward Use, suggesting that ease of use is no longer a major determinant of user attitudes toward digital applications, possibly because it is now perceived as a basic standard in technology usage. Conversely, Personal Innovativeness consistently exerts a significant influence on all three key perceptions, which in turn affect users’ attitudes, intentions, and actual behaviors. These results underscore the strategic role of innovative personal characteristics in driving adoption and active engagement with digital applications. The practical implications highlight the importance of user segmentation based on innovation levels, the development of enjoyable features, and the refinement of user experience to promote sustained engagement within digital ecosystems such as MyTelkomsel.
