h based on the textual analysis of Qur'anic verses and in-depth interviews with experts in religious studies and cultural anthropology, this research integrates the frameworks of maqasid al-sharia and cultural anthropology theory to analyze the historical and contemporary transformation of dowry practices. The study also explores the symbolic meaning of dowry, not merely as an obligation but as a form of recognition of women's dignity and rights within the family. Furthermore, it examines the socio-economic factors influencing the amount of dowry and how these factors affect social structures and gender relations within society. In addition, comparisons are made with dowry practices in various other cultures and religions, enabling a deeper understanding of both the unique and shared aspects of universal human values. This comprehensive analysis seeks to provide new insights and a concrete contribution to contemporary discussions on the role of religion in social and cultural life, as well as the challenges of integrating tradition with the needs of modern society. The findings indicate that the practice of dowry giving, as prescribed in the Qur'anic verses, possesses profound normative and strategic values in ensuring justice and social balance within the family structure. Every element of the dowry is not merely symbolic but also embodies meanings that reflect responsibility, respect, and commitment in married life. Over time, the understanding and implementation of this tradition have undergone significant changes, influenced by evolving social, economic, and cultural conditions. This highlights the importance of not only preserving the tradition but also adapting it to meet the demands of contemporary society.

th a cross-sectional approach was employed. The study involved 83 mothers with children aged 0–24 months, who were selected through random sampling. Data were obtained via structured interviews using a master table and subsequently analyzed using the chi-square test with a significance level set at 5%.
The findings indicated that the majority of mothers were between 20 and 35 years of age (81.9%), did not have paid employment (68.9%), and had attained secondary to higher levels of education (78.3%). More than half of the respondents reported providing exclusive breastfeeding (56.6%), and most children were classified as not stunted (75.9%). Bivariate analysis revealed a statistically significant association between maternal age and the occurrence of stunting (p = 0.039). However, no significant associations were identified between maternal occupation (p = 0.159), maternal educational attainment (p = 0.203), or exclusive breastfeeding history (p = 0.925) and stunting incidence.
The study concludes that stunting is influenced by multiple interrelated factors, indicating that its prevention cannot rely solely on exclusive breastfeeding. Comprehensive strategies involving sustained nutritional interventions, improved environmental sanitation, and appropriate caregiving practices are essential to effectively reduce stunting. Therefore, health professionals are encouraged to continue promoting exclusive breastfeeding while simultaneously addressing other contributing factors that support optimal child growth and development.

e dysmenorrhea pain by giving relaxation and analgesic effects with its active compounds, such as limonene and linalool. Based on the data from the World Health Organization (WHO), around 90% of women experience dysmenorrhea, and 10–15% of them suffer from severe dysmenorrhea that requires intervention. This study aims to determine the effect of lemon aromatherapy in reducing the level of dysmenorrhea pain among girls. This study was a quantitative research with a quasi-experimental approach using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population was all seventh and eighth-grade female students of SMP Negeri 1 Simpang Tiga, Aceh Besar, who experienced dysmenorrhea. A total of 15 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. The study was conducted from May 29 to June 21, 2025. The intervention was carried out by giving lemon aromatherapy on the first to third day of menstruation, once a day intake for about 15 minutes. The pain level was assessed using the Numerical Rating Scale (NRS). The data were analyzed using the Paired Samples T-Test. The results showed that most respondents experienced moderate pain (93.3%) before receiving the treatment, and a small proportion experienced severe pain (6.7%). After receiving lemon aromatherapy, the pain level decreased to mild pain (46.7%) and moderate pain (53.3%). The mean pain score before intervention was 3.07 and decreased to 2.53 after intervention, with a difference of 0.54. The statistical analysis obtained a p-value of 0.001 (p < 0.05), indicating that there was a significant effect of lemon aromatherapy on reducing dysmenorrhea pain. Thus, based on the findings, this study recommends that teenage girls use lemon aromatherapy as an alternative independent treatment to reduce menstrual pain complaints.

h as soursop leaves (Annona muricata L), which contain active compounds like flavonoids and alkaloids that may reduce uric acid levels. Objective: To describe the effect of boiled soursop leaf water on reducing uric acid levels in elderly patients with gout arthritis in Karangjambu Village, Karangjambu Subdistrict, Purbalingga Regency. Method: This study employed a case study method. Subjects were given an intervention of 200 ml of boiled soursop leaf water daily (100 ml in the morning and 100 ml in the evening) for seven consecutive days. Uric acid levels were measured before and after the intervention. Results: After seven days of soursop leaf water administration, uric acid levels decreased from an average of 8.7–9.0 mg/dl to 5.5–5.8 mg/dl. This suggests that the active compounds in soursop leaves are effective in inhibiting xanthine oxidase and promoting uric acid excretion through urine. Conclusion: Boiled soursop leaf water is effective in lowering uric acid levels in elderly patients with gout arthritis and can serve as a safe and practical complementary non-pharmacological therapy within the community.
