upaten Sorong, Papua Barat Daya. Wilayah pesisir Kampung Arar mengalami tekanan ekologis akibat penurunan tutupan mangrove, aktivitas penangkapan ikan yang tidak ramah lingkungan, serta berkurangnya keanekaragaman biota laut. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, kegiatan ini melibatkan masyarakat lokal, pemerintah kampung, kelompok pemuda, serta lembaga mitra dalam proses edukasi, pendampingan, dan implementasi aksi konservasi. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup sosialisasi mengenai pentingnya ekosistem mangrove dan biota laut, pelatihan teknik penanaman dan perawatan mangrove, pendataan biota laut lokal, serta penetapan area perlindungan pesisir berbasis kearifan lokal. Kegiatan lapangan difokuskan pada penanaman ribuan bibit mangrove di area yang mengalami abrasi dan rehabilitasi habitat laut melalui edukasi konservasi terumbu karang serta penguatan praktik perikanan berkelanjutan.
Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan meningkatnya pengetahuan dan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pentingnya menjaga ekosistem pesisir, adanya peningkatan tutupan vegetasi mangrove di lokasi sasaran, serta terbentuknya komitmen masyarakat dalam menjaga biota laut melalui pembentukan kelompok penjaga lingkungan kampung. Program ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap pemulihan ekosistem pesisir, pengurangan risiko abrasi, serta mendukung keberlanjutan sumber daya laut bagi masyarakat Kampung Arar. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi model kolaboratif restorasi lingkungan berbasis komunitas yang dapat direplikasi di wilayah pesisir lainnya di Papua Barat Daya.

lyzes the neglected environmental disaster mitigation dimensions in the acceleration of the Rempang Eco-City PSN from nine environmental perspectives, while evaluating whether the cancellation of this strategic development policy is a normatively and empirically justifiable choice. Using a qualitative research approach with a case study design, the study combines regulatory analysis based on legal documents including Laws, Government Regulations, Presidential Regulations, Ministerial Regulations, Environmental Impact Assessment (AMDAL) documents, and the Batam City Spatial Plan (RTRW) with field data from secondary sources compiled between 2023–2025. The findings reveal four main conclusions: (1) regulatory incoherence exists between Permenko Ekuin No. 7/2023 and Law No. 32/2009 on Environmental Protection and Management (PPLH) as well as Law No. 27/2007 on Coastal Zone Management; (2) the AMDAL process was carried out procedurally without participatory substance and was only initiated after the conflict erupted; (3) environmental impacts including threats of deforestation of protected forests, mangrove ecosystem degradation, and sea sand exploitation have not been adequately mitigated; and (4) resistance from approximately 80% of affected residents indicates a failure of the Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC) principle. The most recent development shows that through Presidential Regulation (Perpres) No. 12 of 2025, signed by President Prabowo Subianto on February 10, 2025, Rempang Eco-City is no longer listed among the 77 national strategic projects. This study recommends a comprehensive policy evaluation for Rempang Island development based on an independent AMDAL review, fulfillment of the rights of the Malay indigenous community, and a moratorium on all construction activities until legal certainty is established.

, salinity, and pH, were monitored, along with the growth performance of sea cucumbers in terms of body weight and length during the cultivation period. The results showed water temperatures ranging from 28–31°C, pH values between 8.3–8.7, and an average salinity of 20.5 ppt. Although the salinity was slightly below the optimal range (28–32 ppt), the sea cucumbers demonstrated positive growth. Final measurements indicated an increase in body weight from 10–20 grams to an average of 0.29 kg, and in body length up to 16.7 cm over approximately three months of cultivation. These findings suggest that the coastal waters of Sungai Bakau have potential for sea cucumber aquaculture development, with some adjustments needed to optimize salinity conditions.

l communities. Bengkalis Island, one of Indonesia's outermost and foremost islands, has experienced intensified abrasion in recent decades. Located in Riau Province and facing the Strait of Malacca, this peat-contoured island serves as a basepoint for Indonesia's archipelagic baselines. This research aims to: (1) analyze the legal implications of peat erosion on Indonesia's baselines post-erosion, and (2) describe the Indonesian government's efforts to address the issue. This normative legal research examines the synchronization between national regulations and international standards regarding peatland conservation and erosion mitigation, particularly in strategically important foremost islands. The study reveals two key findings. First, peat abrasion on Bengkalis Island has serious legal implications for determining Indonesia's archipelagic baselines and maritime boundaries under UNCLOS 1982. Abrasion also threatens the island's status as an outermost and foremost island, potentially leading to the loss of Indonesia's rights over natural resources in the area. Failure to protect peat ecosystems may be considered a violation of Indonesia's international obligations to preserve marine and wetland environments under UNCLOS 1982 and the Ramsar Convention. Second, the Indonesian government has implemented legal and technical measures, such as issuing Government Regulation No. 57 of 2016 on Peat Ecosystem Protection and Management, constructing breakwaters, planting mangroves, and implementing the 3R program (Rewetting, Revegetation, and Revitalization) through the Peat and Mangrove Restoration Agency (BRGM). These efforts have shown positive results in reducing erosion rates and protecting coastalines.

This study aims to determine the fat content of mangrove snails from two different locations, namely in the mangrove forest waters of Negeri Luhu and the mangrove forest waters of Waai Village. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with the object of research being the fat content of mangrove snails. This research was conducted at the Basic Chemistry Laboratory of Pattimura University, Ambon, which was carried out starting on October 14, 2020. Data collection was obtained from the results of the analysis of the fat content of mangrove snails using the soxhlet method. The results of the study showed that from six samples of mangrove snails obtained from two different locations, it was known that the mangrove snail samples in Negeri Luhu had a higher fat content with an average value of 4.5448% compared to the mangrove snail samples in Waai Village which had an average value of 3.3649 %.

The development of the tourism sector is the main focus in supporting economic growth and community welfare. To ensure effective management, the Government has enacted Law Number 10 of 2009 concerning Tourism. This law is designed to provide the necessary limitations and guidance to advance the tourism sector. One of the main goals of this law is to create a clear framework and provide necessary guidance to achieve sustainable development in the tourism sector. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, and the conclusion of this study indicates that the CMC Tiga Warna Area has successfully integrated tourism activities with nature conservation and engaged the local community through the non-governmental organization Bhakti Alam Sendang Biru. With an emphasis on conservation and sustainable development aspects, CMC Tiga Warna proves itself as a successful example of the implementation of the Tourism Law, which aims to achieve economic growth, nature preservation, and community welfare.
