Wawan Hermawan, Ardyanto Saputra, Rifki Permana Putra, Nadila Nuraini, Siti Azzahra Fauziah Triyanto
Abstract: Non-formal education plays an important role in providing educational services to communities unable to complete formal education. One form of non-formal education that serves as an alternative education is the Package C… Equivalency Education Program. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the community empowerment management function through the Package C Equivalency Education Program at PKBM Buana Mekar Baleendah using the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, and Controlling) management approach. The study used a descriptive qualitative method with the research location at PKBM Buana Mekar, Bandung Regency. The research subjects consisted of PKBM managers, tutors, and Package C learners. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the planning function has been carried out through identifying community needs and preparing flexible learning programs. The organizing function is seen from the division of tutor tasks and a clear organizational structure. The implementation function is carried out through andragogy-based learning with lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and skills practice methods. Meanwhile, the supervisory function is carried out through learning evaluation, attendance monitoring, andsupervision of skills practice. Although the program's implementation has been quite successful, several obstacles remain, such as limited digital learning media, unstable student attendance rates, and suboptimal utilization of practical facilities. Overall, the Package C Program at Buana Mekar Community Learning Center (PKBM) has systematically implemented management functions to support the community empowerment process through equivalency education

KARSTIFICATION AND ITS INFLUENCE ON GROUNDWATER FLOW AND PERMEABILITY IN CARBONATE AQUIFERS: A LITERATURE REVIEW

Saleh, Isman
Abstract: Karstification is the dominant geological process controlling groundwater circulation and permeability in carbonate aquifers. Through the dissolution of carbonate rocks, karst processes create highly heterogeneous systems… s characterized by fractures, conduits, and interconnected channel networks that significantly influence groundwater flow dynamics. This literature review aims to synthesize current knowledge regarding the effects of karst on water circulation and permeability in carbonate aquifers based on hydrogeological, hydrochemical, geophysical, and numerical modeling studies from various regions worldwide. The review shows that karstification substantially enhances hydraulic conductivity and produces complex flow regimes ranging from diffuse fracture flow to turbulent conduit flow. The epikarst zone plays an important role in regulating infiltration and recharge distribution, while tectonic structures such as faults and fractures strongly control groundwater pathways and aquifer compartmentalization. Karst aquifers also exhibit strong spatial variability in permeability, making groundwater flow and contaminant transport difficult to predict using conventional hydrogeological approaches. In addition, the integration of equivalent porous medium (EPM), discrete fracture network (DFN), and conduit network (CN) models is essential for accurately representing karst aquifer behavior. Understanding the influence of karstification on groundwater circulation is therefore crucial for sustainable groundwater management and aquifer vulnerability assessment, particularly in regions facing increasing water demand and climate change pressures.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN COMPLIANCE WITH THE USE OF PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT IN NURSES WITH EFFORTS TO PREVENT OCCUPATIONAL DISEASES AT PERTAMEDIKA UMMI ROSNATI HOSPITAL BANDA ACEH

Zakilla, Rauzhah, Putra, Yadi, Sakdah, Nurul
Abstract: Controlling hazards in the work environment can be done through various means, but technical control is the top priority. The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is considered the application of a safe way of working.… ing. This study aims to determine the relationship between compliance with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and efforts to prevent occupational diseases in nurses at Pertamedika Ummi Rosnati Hospital Banda Aceh. This type of research is quantitative with an analytic design with a cross-sectional study approach. Data collection was carried out from June 13 to 20, 2025, at Pertamedika Ummi Rosnati Hospital. The population in the study was all nurses in the inpatient room of Pertamedika Ummi Rosnati Hospital Banda Aceh, totaling 59 people with sampling techniques using total sampling. Data analysis using the chi-square test, where the results showed there was a relationship between knowledge (p = 0.001), attitude (p = 0.036), and compliance using PPE (p = 0.015) with efforts to prevent occupational diseases. The conclusion of this study found that there is a relationship between compliance with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and efforts to prevent occupational diseases in nurses at Pertamedika Ummi Rosnati Hospital Banda Aceh. It is recommended that nurses increase efforts to prevent occupational diseases by continuing to use PPE even though sometimes it is not provided in hospitals, such as masks.

THE INFLUENCE OF WORKLOAD, DUAL ROLE CONFLICT, AND STRESS ON JOB SATISFACTION AND ITS IMPACT ON THE PERFORMANCE OF FEMALE EMPLOYEES (NURSES) AT PERMATA PAMULANG HOSPITAL

Deanidia, Tiffany, Supratikta, Hadi, Abidin, Ali Zaenal
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of workload, multiple role conflict, and work stress on job satisfaction and their impact on the performance of female employees (nurses) at Permata Pamulang Hospital. The background… of this research is based on the hospital’s unmet performance targets, high nursing workloads, the dominance of female employees, and the emergence of conflicts between work demands and family responsibilities that potentially increase stress and reduce job satisfaction. This research adopts a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consists of all female employees (nurses) at Permata Pamulang Hospital, with a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using path analysis to examine both direct and indirect relationships among variables. The results indicate that workload, multiple role conflict, and work stress have a significant effect on job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance and acts as an intervening variable in the relationship between workload, multiple role conflict, and work stress on performance. These findings suggest that improving nurses’ performance can be achieved through proportional workload management, reducing multiple role conflicts, and controlling work stress to enhance job satisfaction. This study is expected to provide managerial insights for hospital management in formulating human resource policies that emphasize work-life balance and employee well- being.
