DATA-BASED VILLAGE PLANNING EDUCATION VIA MUSDESUS FOR SETTLEMENT-ENVIRONMENT PROPOSALS IN KALIJAGA

Isnein Akbar, Abdulah Muzakkar
Abstract: Village development planning that is not grounded in data can lead to poorly targeted programs, particularly for settlement-environment issues such as solid waste, sanitation, drainage, and neighborhood space quality. This… is community service program aimed to improve residents’ literacy in data-based planning and strengthen meaningful participation in formulating settlement-environment program proposals. The activity was conducted in Kalijaga Village, Aikmel Subdistrict, East Lombok Regency, on 17 November 2025 as a special village deliberation meeting (Musyawarah Desa Khusus; Musdesus) involving 75 participants representing village stakeholders, including youth and community organizations (Karang Taruna and the Village Community Resilience Institution/Lembaga Ketahanan Masyarakat Desa; LKMD). A participatory education approach was applied through short lectures, focused discussions, and hands-on proposal drafting using simple minimum data and a standard structure (problem–location–target group–indicators–resource needs). Evaluation was descriptive using facilitator field notes and a proposal-completeness rubric. Of 49 written proposals collected (N=49), 40 (81.6%) met all minimum elements, while 9 (18.4%) were incomplete. The results indicate a shift from general complaints toward more structured proposals with clearer locations, target groups, and basic indicators. Data-based village planning education is a low-cost intervention to improve the quality of community participation outputs and enhance the readiness of proposals for subsequent village planning processes..

PENDAMPINGAN DESAIN TATA LETAK GUDANG EFISIEN MENGGUNAKAN METODE ARC–ARD BERBASIS SIMULASI FLEXSIM DI PT MIKRON PRESISI INDONESIA

Raka Fahrezi Putrapriatna, Mariyadi, Budiyan, Inten Tejaasih
Abstract: This study aims to design the warehouse tata letak at PT MIKRON PRESISI INDONESIA that experiences post-relocation irregularities in production facilities, along with adjustments to the area area and available rental costs.… ts. The absence of a racking system and clear classification of goods has caused the storage, retrieval, and work safety processes to not run efficiently. The research approach uses a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data through field observations, interviews, and documentation. The tata letak design was carried out by implementing the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) and Activity Relationship Diagram (ARD) methods, then tested through simulations using FlexSim software with two operator scenarios. The simulation results showed that the proposed alternative tata letak design was able to improve the workflow by grouping goods into seven categories and arranging shelves based on the level of proximity of activities. However, the utilization rate of operators is still relatively low, namely 17.65% and 19.78%, due to the periodic pattern of goods arrival and efficient search times due to a more structured storage system. These findings indicate opportunities for human resource optimization through reducing the number of operators or adjusting workloads. The resulting tata letak design makes a practical contribution to improving warehouse space efficiency and operations, and can be used as a reference for applications for companies with similar characteristics.

This program demonstrates that language education integrated with digital literacy and character-building can shape ethical and productive communication behaviors among junior high school students. Such education is recommended to be continuously implemented as part of school literacy programs.

ANALISIS PERSEPSI MAHASISWA TERHADAP EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN CANVA DALAM MENDESAIN PRESENTASI KULIAH

Mutiara Putri, Zarra Hanura IL, Jesi Alexander Alim, Mitha Dwi Anggriani
Abstract: This study aims to explore students’ perceptions of the effectiveness of using canva in designing lecture presentations. The background of this study stems from the rapid development of digital technology that encourages… es the use of design applications as a means of supporting the learning process. The research method used was a quantitative survey involving 30 students as respondents who were selected purposively, namely those who had direct experience using canva. The data collection instrument was a Likert scale questionnaire with 20 statements covering aspects of ease of use, time efficiency, quality and creativity, academic benefits, collaboration, limitations, and satisfaction levels. The results showed that the majority of students had a positive view of using canva. This application was considered easy to operate even without in-depth design skills, helping to speed up the preparation of presentations, while also improving the quality and creativity of the display. In addition, canva is considered to provide real academic benefits, support collaboration, and encourage the exploration of diverse visual styles. However, there are still a number of weaknesses, such as the limitations of the free version, visual designs that are considered less suitable for formal academic contexts, and a small number of students who feel that their creative space is limited. From this research, it can be concluded that canva can be used as an alternative medium to support the learning process in higher education, particularly in developing students' presentation skills. Lecturers and educational institutions can also utilize canva as an innovative learning tool that encourages creativity, collaboration, and improves the quality of material delivery. In addition, the results of this study can be used as a basis for developing policies on the use of digital media in academic activities that are more effective and relevant to students' needs.

Djufri, Djufri
Abstract: This study explores how influencer marketing shapes digital identity and spatial relations in Makassar, Indonesia, through a spatially grounded urban ethnography approach. This framework enables a deep reading of how urban… an residents engage with digital practices to navigate symbolic and spatial exclusion generated by influencer content. Through social media observation, narrative interviews, and the tracing of urban locations featured in visual representation, the study finds that influencer marketing does not merely sell products—it also reproduces social hierarchies through aesthetic spatiality and the logic of visibility. Yet, amid such exclusions, marginalized communities deploy diverse tactics of resistance, including visual reengineering, the use of alternative locations, and digital irony that disrupt dominant narratives. These findings suggest that digital identity is not passively consumed but actively negotiated through concrete and often unexpected spatial relations. Drawing on Lefebvre’s theory of the production of space, Urry’s concept of digital mobilities, and Gandy’s politics of infrastructure, the study shows how cities and digital spaces co-constitute a contested symbolic terrain. The article’s main contribution lies in advancing a Global South perspective, where digital technologies and aesthetics are practiced contextually and do not always conform to the logics of global capitalism. This research underscores that urban—and digital—space is not solely produced from above, but also from below, through the everyday agency of ordinary citizens.

RUANG TANPA KENDALI: MOBILITAS MAKASSAR DALAM KRISIS

Djufri, Djufri
Abstract: Makassar is currently facing a mobility crisis that is not merely technical, but deeply embedded in the social, political, and spatial dimensions of urban life. Mobility spaces in the city—roads, transport nodes, and travel… ravel rhythms—have become contested arenas where technocratic planning collides with residents’ everyday realities. This study aims to examine how mobility spaces in Makassar are produced, negotiated, and lived by urban dwellers amid infrastructural dysfunction and unequal access. Using a qualitative, city-based ethnographic approach, the research was conducted across key mobility corridors and densely populated neighborhoods. Conceptually, this study draws on the frameworks of spatial anarchy (Castells & Smith), temporal disorientation (Zerubavel), and the politics of infrastructure (Larkin) to analyze how disorganized space and time shape citizens’ mobility experiences. Findings reveal that Makassar’s mobility space is marked by spatial fragmentation, erratic urban rhythms, and various forms of micro-resistance—such as the use of informal routes, modifications to pete-pete (minibus) trajectories, and the occupation of street space by informal economic activities. This research contributes theoretically to urban anthropology and the discourse on mobility justice by foregrounding the need to understand cities from below—through the lived experiences of residents who continuously adapt within unruly and unstable urban environments

ETNOGRAFI WAKTU PERKOTAAN UNTUK MEMBACA PERLAWANAN RITMIK KOMUNITAS MARJINAL DALAM RUANG KOTA MAKASSAR

Djufri, Djufri
Abstract: This study explores how marginalized communities in Makassar construct and sustain their life rhythms amidst the temporal pressures shaped by infrastructure systems, mobility regimes, and urban development logics. Employing… ing a space- and time-based urban ethnographic approach, the research traces residents’ daily tactics, rhythmic narratives, and spatial practices in navigating mobility exclusion and the accelerating, non-inclusive urban pace. Field findings reveal that residents engage in various forms of micro-resistance—such as adjusting selling hours, utilizing interstitial moments in urban space, and cultivating social rhythms that diverge from technocratic logics. Within temporalities not governed by state or capital, urban spaces are collectively reproduced from below, positioning spatial production as a bottom-up process rather than a top-down imposition. The study contributes theoretically by advancing Lefebvre’s rhythmanalysis, Urry’s notion of differential mobility, and Gandy’s political ecology of infrastructure within the context of Global South cities. By foregrounding time as a critical analytical lens, the research expands our understanding of how power operates temporally in urban life, and how residents negotiate this power through their everyday rhythms. Ultimately, this research offers a new perspective for interpreting urban dynamics—not only through spatiality but also through socially produced temporalities.

Kartikawati, Dwi, Dian Metha Ariyanti, Purnomo
Abstract: This study explores the dynamics of corporate crisis communication in the digital age, with a particular focus on the role of social media platforms in shaping organizational strategies. Using a qualitative approach and… library research method, the research systematically reviews academic literature, industry reports, and documented case studies to understand how corporations respond to crises in a hyper-connected environment. The study highlights how traditional theories such as Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT) and Image Repair Theory (IRT) must be adapted to meet the demands of real-time, interactive, and ethically sensitive digital spaces. Through comparative analysis of successful and failed crisis responses—including global cases such as United Airlines and local cases such as Tokopedia—the research reveals that timely, transparent, and empathetic communication on social media significantly influences public perception and corporate reputation recovery. The findings emphasize that a well-designed digital crisis strategy must integrate technical responsiveness with human-centric values to restore trust and sustain long-term relationships with stakeholders.
