INTEGRATING RELIGIOUS VALUES INTO CHARACTER EDUCATION: EVIDENCE FROM AN ISLAMIC MADRASAH IN INDONESIA

Chadijah, Amrah Kasim, Andi Achruh, Syamsuddin
Abstract: This study examines the implementation of character education at MTsN 3 Halmahera Utara through four focal values: religiosity, honesty, tolerance, and discipline. Using a qualitative naturalistic approach, data were collected… lected from the head of the madrasah, teachers, and students through in depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The findings indicate that character education is organized as a whole school culture rather than a standalone program. Religiosity is strengthened through routinized worship practices that scaffold ethical conduct and self regulation. Honesty is fostered through teacher exemplarity, trust based learning situations, and clear behavioral norms related to academic integrity and everyday responsibility. Tolerance is cultivated as a relational practice through inclusive interaction norms and respect for differences in the school community. Discipline is reinforced through consistent routines, rule clarity, and guided accountability, though its internalization remains sensitive to family support and external influences. Overall, the study shows that coherent habituation, modeling, and institutional consistency are decisive for embedding character values in students’ daily behavior and for sustaining a constructive moral climate in the madrasah. The results suggest implications for school leadership, teacher development, and family engagement. Limitations include the single site design and scope, indicating the need for comparative and longitudinal studies.

SUSTAINABLE AGILITY-DRIVEN CULTURE IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: A PRIDE FRAMEWORK FOR FUTURE-READY ORGANIZATIONS

Wulandari, Aghnia, Efendi, Suryono, Hasanudin, Han, Yonghwa
Abstract: This research develops the PRIDE Framework to integrate five interdependent dimensions, People (People-Centric Excellence), Resilience, Innovation, Development, and Empowerment, into a unified model explaining how HRM practices… actices drive both sustainability and agility. A systematic literature review guided by PRISMA principles was conducted, selecting peer-reviewed empirical and conceptual studies that examine HRM, organizational agility, and sustainability. Thematic synthesis and reflexive analysis produced a circular puzzle architecture representing these dimensions and their interconnections. Findings reveal that integrated people-centric policies, robust knowledge management, embedded innovation practices, continuous learning, and distributed decision-making create synergistic capabilities that enable rapid adaptation while maintaining long-term viability. Critical enablers include psychological safety, holistic wellness initiatives, adaptive learning programs, and outcome-based empowerment. The framework addresses gaps by showing sustainability and agility as complementary imperatives rather than competing priorities. Future research should validate the framework through multi-level and longitudinal studies, incorporate diverse language sources for broader context, and explore the impacts of AI-enabled HRM on each dimension. Limitations involve temporal and linguistic scope.

Boling, Theresia Exanthi, Fauziah, An Nuril Maulida
Abstract: Science learning is very important in producing quality students, related to the nature of science. In the learning process, we must view science not only as a product such as facts, concepts, theories, or laws, but also… as scientific skills and attitudes. Mastery of science process skills (KPS) is much more crucial than just memorizing, because KPS gives students the opportunity to discover and develop facts and concepts, while building attitudes and values through the experiences they experience. KPS is a basic competency that is the main driver in supporting the discovery, development and mastery of scientific concepts by students. This research aims to determine the effect of the guided inquiry model as a solution to improve students' science process skills at one of the state junior high schools in Surabaya. This research uses a pre-experimental type of research and a One Group Pretest – Posttest research design. The research results show that the guided inquiry learning model has a positive effect on improving junior high school students' science process skills with an n-gain of 0.55 which is in the medium category

Visi dan Ambisi di Kalangan Mahasiswa STT GPI Papua: Antara Panggilan Pelayanan dan Pencapaian Pribadi

Ananda D. Batsira
Abstract: Students at the Theological Seminary (Sekolah Tinggi Teologi, STT) of GPI Papua bear a dual identity, not only as prospective church ministers but also as individuals with personal aspirations concerning academic achievement,… ment, social mobility, and future professional paths. The tension between vocational calling and personal ambition constitutes an existential challenge that influences the construction of motivation, spirituality, and life orientation among theology students. This study aims to analyze the dialectical dynamics between these two dimensions and to examine how local Papuan cultural values shape students’ interpretations and efforts to harmonize them. The research problem stems from a lack of integrative theological understanding of personal ambition within the context of vocational ministry. Employing a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design, data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed thematically to identify meaning structures, internal conflicts, and integration strategies employed by the students. The findings reveal that personal ambition is not necessarily antithetical to the calling of ministry; rather, it can serve as a constructive force when interpreted through a reflective spirituality grounded in contextual theology. Ambitions guided by Christian values can enhance ministerial capacity and foster authentic personal growth, whereas unmanaged ambition tends to lead to spiritual fragmentation. This study contributes a scientific model of integration between spiritual, personal, and cultural dimensions within theological formation. It recommends a reformulation of curriculum and spiritual formation strategies that are contextual, dialogical, and oriented toward the development of a holistic and culturally relevant vocational identity.

Tantangan Etika dan Pertimbangan Profesional dalam E-Konseling Berbasis Sekolah: Tinjauan Literatur Sistematis

Tyas Nurmaya Dewi
Abstract: The advancement of digital technology has encouraged the adoption of e-counseling as an integral component of guidance and counseling services in schools. While the use of digital-based services enhances accessibility and… d flexibility, it also presents various ethical challenges and professional demands for school counselors. This study aims to identify the ethical challenges associated with school-based e-counseling, analyze the professional considerations required of counselors, and examine the interrelationship among ethics, professionalism, and institutional support in the implementation of e-counseling services. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method guided by the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework through a comprehensive search of articles indexed in Google Scholar, GARUDA, ERIC, Scopus, and ProQuest published between 2015 and 2025. The findings reveal that the primary challenges of e-counseling include data confidentiality, client privacy, digital information security, professional boundaries, and limitations in nonverbal communication. The results further indicate that digital competence, adherence to professional ethical standards, and institutional support from schools are critical factors influencing the effectiveness of e-counseling services. This study contributes a conceptual synthesis that positions ethics, counselors’ digital professionalism, and institutional governance as three interrelated pillars essential for the development of safe, ethical, and professional e-counseling practices within school settings.
