proach with data collection conducted through questionnaires distributed to 62 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using inferential quantitative analysis with SEM-PLS 3.1. The results of the study indicate that: (1) workload has a positive but insignificant effect on turnover intention with an effect value of 7.80%; (2) competence has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention with an effect value of 27.90%; (3) workload has a positive and significant effect on work stress with an effect value of 37.60%; (4) competence has a positive and significant effect on work stress with an effect value of 51.80%; (5) work stress has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention with an effect value of 58.40%; (6) workload through work stress has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention with an effect value of 21.90%; and (7) competence through work stress has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention with an effect value of 30.20%. The R-square value of the turnover intention variable is 60.00%, indicating that turnover intention can be explained by the variables in this study, while the remaining 40.00% is influenced by other variables such as job satisfaction and compensation. The R-square value of work stress is 35.90%, while the remaining 64.10% is influenced by other variables such as the work environment.
Abstract:This study aims to analyze the effect of liquidity, profitability, and capital structure on firm value in Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2021–2023. Firm value is proxied by Price…
ice to Book Value (PBV) and Tobin’s Q. Liquidity is measured using Current Ratio (CR) and Quick Ratio (QR), profitability is measured using Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE), while capital structure is measured using Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER). This research employed a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from annual financial reports of Food and Beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling, with a sample size of 38 companies. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with classical assumption tests, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that CR has a positive and significant effect on PBV and Tobin’s Q. QR has a negative and significant effect on PBV, but no significant effect on Tobin’s Q. ROA has a positive and significant effect on both PBV and Tobin’s Q. ROE has a positive and significant effect on PBV, but a negative and significant effect on Tobin’s Q. DAR has a negative and significant effect on PBV, but no significant effect on Tobin’s Q. DER has no significant effect on both proxies of firm value. Simultaneously, liquidity, profitability, and capital structure significantly affect firm value. These findings indicate that firm value is determined by the combined role of financial stability, profitability, and financing decisions.
Abstract:This study aims to examine the effect of the Current Ratio (CR) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on stock returns, with the exchange rate as a moderating variable, in retail sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock…
ck Exchange during the 2019–2023 period. This research employed a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from annual financial reports and stock price data. The sampling technique used purposive sampling, resulting in 25 companies with 125 observations. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results indicate that the Current Ratio has a negative and significant effect on stock returns, meaning that excessively high liquidity tends to reduce stock returns. Debt to Equity Ratio also has a negative and significant effect on stock returns, indicating that higher leverage increases financial risk and lowers investor confidence. Simultaneously, Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio significantly affect stock returns. However, the exchange rate has no effect on stock returns. Furthermore, the exchange rate is unable to moderate the relationship between Current Ratio and stock returns, as well as between Debt to Equity Ratio and stock returns. These findings imply that internal company factors, particularly liquidity management and capital structure, are more dominant in influencing stock returns than external macroeconomic factors such as exchange rate fluctuations. Therefore, investors are advised to pay closer attention to financial fundamentals when making investment decisions in the retail sector.
Abstract:This study aims to analyze the role of internal audit in enhancing the integrity of regional financial reports at the Gorontalo Provincial Inspectorate. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, collecting…
data through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies. The results indicate that internal audit plays a significant role through assurance, consultative, and risk-based supervisory functions, including regular audits, OPD financial report reviews, technical assistance, probity audits, and investigative audits. However, supervisory effectiveness is constrained by limited authority, resources, and OPD commitment. To overcome these challenges, the Inspectorate implements strategies such as utilizing information technology, improving coordination with OPDs, monitoring follow-up on audit recommendations, and ensuring auditor independence. These findings demonstrate that internal audit contributes to increased accountability and prevention of financial irregularities. The study offers practical implications for enhancing auditor capacity and OPD coordination, as well as recommendations for future research to broaden the scope of informants.
Abstract:Boredom in the learning process at elementary schools (SD) is a significant factor in declining student motivation and academic achievement. In regions with unique geographical and cultural characteristics, such as Papua,…
, this challenge is often exacerbated by the limitations of conventional learning media and teaching methods, which tend to be monotonous. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of active learning model innovation as a strategic solution to increase elementary school students' learning motivation. The research method used is library research by analyzing literature from the last 10 years and integrating observational case studies from an elementary school in Nabire, Papua. The results show that the implementation of Game-Based Learning and Outdoor Collaborative Learning models can significantly reduce student boredom levels. The case in Papua shows that the use of local wisdom (ethno-pedagogy) as part of active learning increases student engagement by up to 50%. Analysis of literature data confirms that physical and emotional involvement in learning strengthens memory retention and intrinsic interest. The conclusion of this research affirms that teachers must transform from information providers to creative facilitators to create a dynamic classroom ecosystem. The proposed solutions include diversifying activity-based methods and adapting environment-based curricula to ensure the sustainability of children's learning motivation at the elementary education level.
Abstract:Indonesia faces a dualism within the Islamic fiscal system, where zakat and taxes operate separately without clear integration. This condition raises fundamental questions regarding the relationship between the two from…
a sharia perspective and their implications for fiscal justice among Indonesian Muslims. This study aims to examine and formulate the relationship between zakat and taxes from the perspective of the Qur’an and Hadith in order to produce an applicable reformulation model within the context of Indonesia’s fiscal system. This research employs a qualitative approach using a thematic (maudhu‘i) method applied to primary Islamic texts. Qur’anic verses and Hadiths related to zakat, taxation (kharaj, jizyah, ‘usyur), and fiscal obligations were collected, classified, and comprehensively analyzed to identify the underlying connection between the two. The analysis is further supported by a study of maqashid al-shariah and contemporary ijtihad of Indonesian scholars. This study seeks to produce a reformulation model of the zakat–tax relationship through three possible schemes: (1) a partial substitution model, in which zakat can serve as a deduction for income tax up to a certain limit; (2) a complementary model, positioning zakat as a religious obligation and tax as a civic obligation with distinct functions; and (3) a progressive integrative model, integrating zakat into the national fiscal system through a more comprehensive tax incentive mechanism. The findings indicate that the Qur’an and Hadith provide a flexible foundation for all three models, depending on the context of maslahah and public interest.
Abstract:English language learning in Islamic colleges faces challenges related to motivation, engagement, and a classroom atmosphere that tends to be monotonous. In today's digital context, Game-Based Learning (GBL) offers an innovative…
novative approach that can change these dynamics through fun and interactive game elements. This study aims to explore the subjective experiences of students at the Susha Siak Islamic College (STAI) in using Gimkit as a game-based English learning medium. The approach used is interpretive phenomenology based on Heidegger's thinking, which focuses on the meaning of participants' life experiences. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and reflective journals from seven students who actively used Gimkit in their English classes. Data analysis followed Colaizzi's (1978) steps to identify essential themes from the participants' experiences.
The results of the study show three main themes: (1) fun and challenging learning, (2) a more lively and competitive classroom atmosphere, and (3) increased cohesiveness and solidarity among students. The learning experience through Gimkit brings out strong intrinsic motivation, self-confidence, and positive emotional involvement. This study concludes that GBL through Gimkit not only improves the effectiveness of English language learning, but also strengthens the values of togetherness and collaboration in the context of Islamic higher education.
