APPLICATION OF THINK PAIR SHARE (TPS) LEARNING MODEL TO IMPROVE STUDENTS' LEARNING INTEREST IN MATHEMATICS SUBJECTS IN GRADE V AT SDN 001/IX SENGETI

Abstract: The background of the research is that students tend to be passive and afraid, and boring so that there is a lack of interest in learning students. The study aims to apply the Think Pair Share (TPS) model to improve students'… ents' interest in learning Mathematics in class V of Elementary School 001/IX Sengeti. The type of research is Classroom Action Research. The Action Model consists of 4 stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The study was conducted in 2 cycles, cycle I as many as 2 meetings and cycle II was conducted in 2 meetings. Data collection in the form of teacher and student observation sheets and questionnaires. The results of the analysis of teacher observations in cycle I obtained a score of 72.05% and cycle II 90.43% in the very high category. While the results of the analysis of student observations in cycle I obtained a score of 72.5% and cycle II 90% in the very high category. Then the results of the analysis of student questionnaires obtained a score of 90% in the very high category. It can be concluded that the application of the Think Pair Share learning model can improve students' interest in learning

Abstract: Kemajuan teknologi kecerdasan buatan yang berlangsung dengan sangat cepat mendorong pengakuan global terhadap berpikir komputasional sebagai kecakapan strategis yang melintas batas disiplin ilmu. Meski demikian, di Indonesia… esia persepsi mengenai logika komputasional kerap terjebak pada pemaknaan yang terlalu sempit, yakni sekadar aktivitas menulis kode program, terutama di kalangan mahasiswa yang menempuh studi di luar rumpun teknologi informasi. Artikel ini mengemban tiga misi: pertama, menelaah landasan konseptual logika komputasional beserta empat elemen pembangunnya, yaitu dekomposisi, pengenalan pola, abstraksi, dan algoritma; kedua, mengupas urgensinya dalam konteks perkembangan AI generatif pada tahun 2026; dan ketiga, menyusun rekomendasi berbasis temuan teoritis bagi pembaruan desain kurikulum dan strategi pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi Indonesia. Kajian ini memanfaatkan metode tinjauan pustaka sistematis yang berorientasi analisis konseptual. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa logika komputasional melampaui fungsinya sebagai bekal teknis pemrograman; ia merupakan paradigma berpikir mendasar yang mengokohkan daya nalar individu dari beragam bidang profesi dalam mengurai kerumitan masalah kontemporer. Dalam lanskap pendidikan tinggi Indonesia, menyelipkan kompetensi ini ke dalam kurikulum berbagai program studi termasuk matematika, ilmu kesehatan, dan ilmu-ilmu sosial bukan lagi pilihan melainkan kebutuhan mendesak. Artikel ini menawarkan kerangka konseptual terpadu sebagai landasan strategis pengembangan kurikulum berbasis computational thinking yang responsif terhadap tantangan era kecerdasan buatan.

IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROJECT-BASED LEARNING BERORIENTASI HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILLS (HOTS) DAN KETERAMPILAN ABAD KE-21 PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPAS DI SDN DUKUHMENCEK 04

Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi model pembelajaran Project-Based Learning (PjBL) yang berorientasi pada Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) dan keterampilan abad ke-21 dalam pembelajaran IPAS… di SDN Dukuhmencek 04. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus untuk menggali secara mendalam proses pembelajaran, interaksi, serta pengalaman guru dan siswa dalam penerapan model tersebut. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi PjBL melalui proyek pembuatan pop-up book kearifan lokal mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang aktif, kontekstual, dan bermakna, serta mendorong berkembangnya keterampilan HOTS dan kompetensi abad ke-21 (4C), yaitu berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi. Siswa terlibat secara langsung dalam proses merancang, menyusun, dan mempresentasikan produk, sehingga pembelajaran tidak lagi berpusat pada guru. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi simultan antara PjBL, HOTS, dan keterampilan abad ke-21 dalam konteks pembelajaran IPAS berbasis kearifan lokal, serta penggunaan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mengungkap proses implementasi secara nyata di kelas. Penelitian ini berkontribusi secara teoretis dalam memperkaya kajian pembelajaran abad ke-21 dan secara praktis memberikan panduan bagi guru dalam merancang pembelajaran inovatif, kontekstual, dan berbasis proyek di sekolah dasar.

PEMANFAATAN LKPD BUDAYA MELAYU RIAU BERBASIS CODING UNTUK MENGANALISIS COMPUTATIONAL THINKING SISWA

Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Budaya Melayu Riau berbasis coding terhadap kemampuan berpikir komputasional (computational thinking) siswa sekolah dasar.… LKPD ini dikembangkan dengan mengintegrasikan unsur budaya lokal dan aktivitas coding sebagai upaya menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir sistematis, logis, dan kreatif sejak dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain pretest-posttest one group design, yang dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas IV SDN 105 Pekanbaru tahun pelajaran 2025/2026. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan computational thinking, observasi aktivitas siswa, dan dokumentasi hasil belajar. Analisis data dilakukan secara statistik deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro–Wilk dan Paired Sample t-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata skor siswa meningkat dari 64,63 menjadi 67,78 setelah penerapan LKPD, dengan nilai signifikansi uji t sebesar 0,406 (> 0,05), yang berarti tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara pretest dan posttest. Nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,032 termasuk kategori rendah, namun menunjukkan adanya tren peningkatan positif terhadap kemampuan berpikir komputasional siswa. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa integrasi budaya Melayu Riau dalam LKPD berbasis coding memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan minat belajar siswa, meskipun efektivitasnya masih memerlukan penguatan dari aspek pedagogis dan durasi penerapan.

This article explores the fundamental concepts of cooperative learning, its underlying principles, and several popular models such as Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD), Jigsaw, and Think-Pair-Share. The discussion also highlights the advantages and challenges of implementing this method in classroom settings. The findings indicate that cooperative learning increases student engagement, learning motivation, and conceptual understanding. Therefore, cooperative learning serves as an effective strategy for creating an active, participatory, and meaningful learning environment.

The contextual learning model (Contextual Teaching and Learning/CTL)… ning/CTL) is a learning approach that emphasizes the relationship between subject matter and real-life situations of students. This model aims to help students understand academic concepts by connecting the knowledge gained from school with its application in everyday life, both in personal, social, and cultural contexts. Through contextual learning, teachers act as facilitators who encourage students to actively build knowledge and skills through direct experience, problem solving, and collaboration in learning communities. Contextual learning integrates several main components, including constructivism, inquiry (discovery), asking, learning communities, modeling, reflection, and authentic assessment. This approach requires students to think critically, creatively, and innovatively, and be able to relate learning materials to real problems faced in their environment. Thus, learning outcomes are expected to be more meaningful, increase motivation, and equip students with adaptability and problem solving skills that are relevant to future life.

Abstract: The Problem-Based Learning model is a process to enhance Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking Skills. This classroom action research aims to improve students' problem-solving and critical thinking skills by implementing… the problem-based learning model. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation and evaluation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the study were students of the Educational Technology Department at FIPB class of 2025, totaling 9 students, who took the Learning and Teaching course. The object of the research was to observe students observing the learning process. The results obtained from this study show that the implementation of the problem-based learning model can enhance students' problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Students were very enthusiastic about participating in the learning and received the implementation of this learning model very well.

MODERNITAS KONTEMPORER DAN PROSPEKNYA DALAM ISLAM (BERDASARKAN PEMIKIRAN FAZLUR RAHMAN DALAM ISLAM & MODERNITY)

Abstract: Fazlur Rahman is one of the modern Muslim thinkers who plays an important role in the reconstruction of Islamic thought, especially in responding to the challenges of modernity. He argues that Islam is not a static teaching,… ing, but rather a dynamic value system that must always develop in accordance with the changing times. One of Rahman's main criticisms of the Islamic world is the tendency to understand the Qur'an and Sunnah literally without considering their historical and social context. He offers a double movement methodology, an approach that traces the original meaning of the text in its historical context, then applies it to modern conditions. This approach allows Islam to remain relevant without losing its essence. In addition to the interpretation methodology, Rahman also contributed to the reform of Islamic education, the integration of science with religion, and the reconstruction of Islamic law based on the principle of maqasid al-shariah. He emphasized the importance of reopening the door of ijtihad so that Muslims do not get caught up in taqlid, namely the attitude of accepting Islamic law dogmatically without critical evaluation. Rahman also criticized Islamic fundamentalism which tends to reject modernity absolutely, as well as radical secularism which seeks to eliminate the spiritual aspect of human life. According to him, Muslims must be able to adopt the positive aspects of modernity, such as the development of science and technology, without sacrificing Islamic values. With a more rational and contextual approach, Rahman provides a foundation for Islamic renewal that is not only based on tradition, but also open to the development of the times. His thoughts offer solutions to various global challenges faced by Muslims, including in legal, social, and economic aspects. Thus, modernity is not a threat to Islam, but rather an opportunity to strengthen Islamic values in the lives of contemporary society.

GENEALOGY OF THE THOUGHT OF MAQĀṢID Al-SYĀṬIBῙ: AN INTERTEXT STUDY OF THE BOOK AL-MUWĀFAQĀT

Abstract: This article examines the genealogy of al-Syāṭibī’s maqāṣid thought in al-Muwāfaqāt, focusing on its intertextual roots and later influence in contemporary Islamic legal thought. Using qualitative library research and intertextual… arch and intertextual analysis, it reads al-Muwāfaqāt not as an isolated text, but as part of a broader network of uṣūl al-fiqh traditions before and after al-Syāṭibī. The study argues that al-Syāṭibī’s maqāṣid theory was not entirely new, but represented a systematic development and epistemological reconstruction of earlier ideas, especially al-Ghazālī’s conception of maṣlaḥah mursalah. Al-Syāṭibī’s major contribution lies in transforming maṣlaḥah mursalah from a subsidiary legal proof into a foundational principle of Islamic legal reasoning. The article also shows that the Mālikī intellectual milieu of Granada, along with rational elements introduced through Mu‘tazilite theology and philosophy, contributed to the formation of his thought. After a long period of dormancy, al-Syāṭibī’s maqāṣid thought was revived through the publication of al-Muwāfaqāt in Tunisia and later developed by Ibn ‘Āshūr, contemporary uṣūl scholars, and Qur’anic hermeneutical thinkers such as Abdullah Saeed.

MATHEMATICS LEARNING STRATEGIES FOR DEAF CHILDREN IN UNDERSTANDING STORY PROBLEMS

Abstract: Mathematics learning plays an important role in developing logical thinking and problem-solving skills. However, for deaf students, understanding mathematical word problems remains a fairly complex challenge, mainly due… to limitations in language and communication aspects. This study aims to examine the characteristics of the difficulties experienced by deaf students, analyze the implementation of the learning strategies used, and investigate their effectiveness in improving understanding of mathematical word problems. This research employs a qualitative approach using a literature study method. The findings indicate that the main difficulties lie in understanding the language used in the problems, identifying important information, and transforming it into mathematical models. Effective learning strategies tend to be visual, contextual, and communicative, supported by the use of interactive media. Nevertheless, the use of media alone is not sufficient without well-structured instructional strategies. These findings emphasize that the integration of adaptive learning strategies plays a more significant role in improving deaf students’ understanding of mathematical word problems.
