Abstract:Digitalization in education continues to increase, particularly in the use of learning media. However, various challenges associated with the emergence of eras based on birth years often lead to differing perspectives on…
improving the quality of education today. The process of integrating Powtoon learning media with a sense of responsibility in Gen Z students requires a comprehensive effort, considering that the assessment indicators for this attitude are crucial for learners in the modern era. Gen Z students (born 1997-2012) are digital natives who are pragmatic, creative, and highly dependent on technology for learning and personal branding. They favor visual-interactive methods, care about mental health/the environment, and focus on practical career outcomes (side hustles), but are prone to distraction and anxiety. Meanwhile, types of student attitude assessments generally include direct observation by lecturers, self-assessment, peer assessment, and daily journal entries. Aspects assessed include discipline, responsibility, honesty, cooperation, politeness, and initiative. This technique often uses a Likert scale or descriptive rubric. Therefore, it is crucial to pay attention to these items in the learning process at university. Powtoon is a web-based online animation and presentation creation platform that allows users to create engaging visual content, such as explainer videos, without requiring advanced graphic design skills. This application uses drag-and-drop features, ready-to-use templates, animated characters, and is supported by AI-based tools. This research uses a descriptive method, namely a research approach that aims to describe, explain, or map the characteristics of a phenomenon, situation, or population systematically, factually, and accurately based on data collected during the study. The results show the successful integration of Powtoon learning media with the responsible attitude of Gen Z students, evidenced by the existence of an orderly, understandable learning process and a high quality of understanding.

Abstract:This study aims to analyze consumer segmentation in the traditional culinary business of a Madurese duck rice and fried chicken restaurant in Konawe Regency. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection…
lection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants consisted of the owner, employees, and customers who had visited the restaurant two or more times. The analysis was conducted based on four types of market segmentation: geographic, demographic, psychographic, and behavioral. The results of this study indicate that this restaurant has a fairly broad market segment, encompassing both local and out-of-town customers, with consumers predominantly students, office workers, and families. Authentic taste, affordable prices, and fast service are the main factors attracting customers. Geographic segmentation indicates potential for expansion due to the increase in out-of-town visitors on weekends. Demographic and psychographic segmentation indicate that customers have a high interest in traditional, spicy dishes. Behavioral segmentation indicates the presence of loyal customers and repeat purchasing patterns. These findings provide important recommendations for businesses to develop more effective marketing strategies tailored to the characteristics of their target market.

Abstract:The identification of error types based on Newman’s Procedure includes reading, comprehension, transformation, process skills, and answer encoding. The objective of this study is to describe the analysis of students’ errors…
errors in solving mathematical logic problems based on Newman’s Procedure. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach involving first year students enrolled in the mathematical logic course within the Information Systems program. Data were collected through a diagnostic test administered to three students representing different levels of academic ability: one low ability student, one moderate ability student, and one high ability student. Students’ ability levels were measured based on tests covering compound propositional logic and logical operations. Data analysis was conducted by classifying errors at each stage of Newman’s Procedure, tracing the underlying factors contributing to these errors, and relating them to students’ logical reasoning abilities. Accordingly, the research method employed in this study is descriptive qualitative research. The resulting error classifications were subsequently used by lecturers as a basis for recommending improvements in instructional strategies. The results indicate that students with low ability made errors across all stages from K1 to K5, students with moderate ability tended to make errors at the case exploration and process skills stages, while students with high ability were able to complete all stages systematically and consistently. These findings confirm that the Newman Procedure is effective in mapping students’ thinking errors. Therefore, the implementation of differentiated learning strategies that emphasize problem comprehension, case exploration, and logical verification is recommended to enhance students’ reasoning abilities
Abstract:The rise of social media platforms like TikTok has created new avenues for informal language learning. This study employs a qualitative content analysis to investigate the pedagogical strategies within the popular Indonesian…
sian TikTok hashtag #learningenglishwithmrfaisal. The research aims to identify the types of English language content, teaching strategies, and pedagogical approaches used by the creator, Mr. Faisal. A systematic analysis was conducted on a purposive sample of 10 public TikTok videos from the hashtag. Data collection involved video observation, transcription, and documentation of multimodal elements, followed by a thematic analysis. Key findings reveal a primary focus on pronunciation drills and practical vocabulary, delivered through highly repetitive and multimodal techniques. Mr. Faisal effectively combines verbal repetition, visual cues (on-screen text, mouth close-ups), exaggerated facial expressions, and motivational speaking to facilitate learning and maintain engagement. The study concludes that TikTok serves as a significant platform for informal digital language learning, particularly for micro-learning and confidence-building. These findings suggest that formal educators can adopt similar engaging, bite-sized techniques, while content creators can leverage multimodal design to enhance instructional video effectiveness.
Abstract:Based on data from the HSE department at PT X, North Jakarta, from 2021 to 2024, the highest number of occupational accidents (KAK) occurred among grinding workers, totaling 12 cases. The types of accidents experienced by…
y workers included metal sparks in the eyes, cuts, lacerations, scratches, and first-aid injuries. The purpose of this study is to analyze the causes of occupational accidents among grinding workers at PT X using the Systematic Cause Analysis Technique (SCAT) method. This research is a descriptive-analytic study using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The research was conducted between July and August 2025. The research population consisted of 32 people, including 30 grinding workers who had experienced accidents, 1 HSE manager, and 1 field coordinator. The sample for this study is the same as the population. Data analysis used univariate analysis and the SCAT method analysis. Based on the results, the most frequent accident experienced by grinding workers was metal sparks in the eyes, involving 30 respondents (100%). The direct causes of these accidents were the use of inadequate PPE by 15 respondents (50%) and the improper use of grinding tools by 11 respondents (36.7%). It is recommended that management commit to maximizing the implementation of established K3 (Occupational Health and Safety) programs and standards so that work-related accidents can be prevented and zero accidents can be achieved.

Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression analysis, with data processing conducted using SPSS 25. The results of this research show that e-attendance has a positive effect on the discipline of State Civil Apparatus in the Regional Personnel Agency of Gorontalo Province, with an R Square value of 0.608, meaning that 60.8% of ASN discipline is influenced by e-attendance, while the remaining 39.2% is influenced by variables not included in this study.
Abstract:This study investigates the forms and functions of illocutionary acts in the film Norah (2023) using a qualitative descriptive approach. The research problem centers on how dialogic interactions and rural Saudi socio-cultural…
tural contexts shape the distribution of illocutionary types. Data were collected via observation and note-taking, then classified according to Searle’s five categories (assertive, directive, commissive, expressive, declarative) and analyzed through three stages: data collection, analysis, and presentation. The findings reveal that illocutionary speech acts in the film Norah are dominated by directives in the form of commands, prohibitions, and invitations, which highlight the speaker’s role in controlling actions. In addition, expressive and commissive acts appear in the form of advice, requests, and polite expressions that function to maintain harmony and interpersonal closeness. Overall, the use of illocutionary acts in the film reflects social relations and the dynamics of everyday interaction in rural Arab society.
