f this study are to determine (a) the learning process using the Self-Directed Learning model; (b) the difference in improvement of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities between those using the Self-Directed Learning model and those receiving conventional (expository) instruction; and (c) students' attitudes toward mathematics learning using the Self-Directed Learning model. Data were collected using research instruments including tests in the form of mathematical problem-solving ability questions and non-tests such as student response questionnaires toward learning using the Self-Directed Learning model. This study was conducted at MAN 1 Gorontalo, with class X IPA-1 as the experimental class and class X IPA-2 as the control class, focusing on vector material. Based on the research results and n-gain data analysis, it was found that: (a) the description of the teacher and student learning process on quadrilateral vector material using the Self-Directed Learning model falls into the good category; (b) the improvement in mathematical problem-solving ability of students who received learning with the Self-Directed Learning model showed a moderate increase. Meanwhile, the improvement in mathematical problem-solving ability of students who received conventional learning showed a low increase. Therefore, there is a difference in the improvement of mathematical problem-solving ability between students using the Self-Directed Learning model and those using conventional learning; (c) most students who received learning using the Self-Directed Learning model responded positively to mathematics learning using this model.

Based on this decision, Bina Mandiri University Gorontalo has participated in and run the MBKM program. However, the implementation is still limited so that the scope of implementation is only at one point and then affects the development of unsustainable programs. Related to the MBKM program, undergraduate students of Educational Technology have been trained and are able to design software, one of which is for libraries in schools. This was proven in the implementation of previous research entitled The Impact of MBKM Project-Based Learning on Problem Solving for Undergraduate Students of Educational Technology at Bina Mandiri University, Gorontalo. Considering that the MBKM program is important to run and its sustainability is expected, its implementation is very urgent. In coastal areas, especially schools in Randangan Village, Pohuwato Regency, Gorontalo Province, it is known that digitalization in the implementation of education has not been effective, so there needs to be digitalization of library software to support student learning activities outside school hours or on holidays. The results of the study show that there are certain patterns in the use of symbols and signs that significantly affect interpretation, thus demanding an in-depth understanding of the semiotic framework in the study of interpretation. The results of this study identify four key aspects, namely: 1) Pre-learning planning for students is very important to determine the aspects of learning that will be implemented in the classroom, 2) The implementation of ISMUBA learning based on moral knowing and feeling will focus more on students' moral education, 3) Teachers' exemplary behavior as role models for students because good activities must be exemplified first, and 4) Learning projects/training students' skills through learning outside the classroom trains students to face daily challenges and fosters moral action. The main challenges in moral internalization include a lack of teacher role models, a lack of supervision of outside classroom activities, and external factors due to the influence of social media. Therefore, this study recommends cooperation among educators, namely schools, teachers, and families, to strengthen the effective moral internalization of students.

This research aims to explore the challenges faced by Mechanical Engineering Education (PTM) students in maintaining Islamic discipline amid high academic demands. The method used is a Literature Review with a critical approach, which collects and analyzes various literature to identify gaps in knowledge. The main findings reveal that the primary challenges include the decline of ethical values such as honesty due to the impact of social changes and technological advancements, the risk of weakened character caused by the influence of global secular culture, and the heavy curriculum burden that leads to mental and physical exhaustion as well as conflicts between academic schedules and religious obligations. Furthermore, students' excessive focus on achieving high GPA and technical skills often neglects moral development, compounded by the lack of integration of the ta’dib concept and insufficient support from social environments that can enforce discipline. Therefore, a holistic and integrated solution is necessary to make Islamic ethics the foundation of academic and professional behavior,balancing technical expertise and spiritual aspects so that PTM students can become competent individuals with strong Islamic character.

The subjects of this study are 30 individuals experiencing long distance marriage. Data were collected using Likert scales, specifically the communication intensity scale and the marital commitment scale. The obtained data were analyzed using simple regression techniques. The results of this study indicate a significant relationship between marital commitment and communication intensity. The sampling technique used was incidental sampling. The instruments used were a forgiveness questionnaire and an anxiety questionnaire. Data were analyzed using correlation techniques. The results of the study showed a significant correlation between forgiveness and anxiety. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between forgiveness and anxiety in adolescents with divorced parents. ion of the CLL model, and (3) whether there is a significant effect of the CLL model on students’ speaking competence. The population of this study consisted of 248 tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan. Using systematic sampling, a total of 35 students were selected as the sample. This research employed an experimental method. Data were collected through observation and speaking tests, and the results were analyzed using a paired-sample t-test. The findings revealed that the application of the CLL model on students’ speaking ability scored 3.6, categorized as “Very Good”. The students’ mean speaking score before the implementation of CLL was 78.51 (“Good”), which increased to 83.42 (“Very Good”) after the treatment. The t-test calculation yielded a t-value of 7.15, which exceeds the critical t-value of 2.03 at a 5% significance level (df = 35). Therefore, it is concluded that there is a statistically significant effect of the Community Language Learning model on students’ speaking competence among tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan.
