AN ANALYSIS OF THE MAIN CHARACTER’S SEARCH FOR IDENTITY IN TERE LIYE’S NOVEL SENDIRI: A JUNG PSYCHOANALYTIC PERSPECTIVE

Feryanti Kurnia Andi, Hari Windu Asrini
Abstract: This study examines the main character’s search for identity in Tere Liye’s novel Sendiri (2024) through the lens of Carl Gustav Jung’s psychoanalytic theory. The research addresses the lack of in-depth psychological analysis… al analysis regarding how the protagonist confronts inner conflict, loneliness, and past trauma in the process of identity formation. The study aims to describe the forms, strategies, and obstacles in the character’s identity quest, as well as to analyze the individuation process based on Jungian concepts such as persona, shadow, anima/animus, and the Self. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, utilizing close reading and thematic analysis of textual data from the novel. Findings reveal that the protagonist undergoes a complex, nonlinear psychological journey toward self-understanding, triggered by existential crisis and emotional isolation. Through deep introspection, symbolic interactions (particularly with natural elements like the moon), and confrontation with the shadow, the character gradually integrates fragmented aspects of the self. This study demonstrates that Jungian theory effectively uncovers the psychological depth of characters in contemporary Indonesian literature and affirms the relevance of literary fiction as a medium for reflecting on identity formation and emotional resilience in real life.

Abstract: This study analyzes the use of the BTN Properti for Developer application in the Home Ownership Credit (KPR) application process at Bank BTN Manado Branch using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and User Experience (UX)… UX) approaches. The study used a descriptive qualitative method through in-depth interviews with four developer users of the application. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the BTN Properti for Developer application is generally well received by developers because it is considered easy to use, has a clear application flow, and is able to improve the efficiency of time, costs, and energy through a digital process. However, several obstacles were still found, such as limited document upload size, navigation that is not fully intuitive, and delays in status updates outside of operating hours. Support from BTN was considered quite responsive through training and direct communication, although improvements in the communication features in the application are needed. Based on the TAM analysis, application acceptance is influenced by perceptions of usefulness and ease of use, while from a UX perspective the application shows good usability and usefulness quality, but still requires development in the aspects of interactivity and accessibility. This study concludes that the BTN Properti for Developer application plays an important role in supporting the digital transformation of mortgage applications, with a note that continuous development is needed to optimize services and be user-oriented.

Lenny Kurnia Octaviani, Sugiarto, Tonny Hendratono, D. Rudi Susanto
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of multi-stakeholder collaboration on the resilience of tourism activities and to examine the mediating role of sustainable tourism management within a community-based tourism village… lage context. A quantitative explanatory research design was employed, using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The research was conducted in Nglanggeran Tourism Village, Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia, with data collection carried out in 2025. A total of 90 respondents were selected through purposive sampling based on their active involvement in village tourism activities. The three main constructs, namely multi-stakeholder collaboration, sustainable tourism management, and tourism activity resilience, were measured using a 5-point Likert scale instrument. PLS-SEM analysis was employed to evaluate the measurement and structural models, encompassing assessments of validity, reliability, R², Q², and hypothesis testing via bootstrapping. Findings indicate that multi-stakeholder collaboration has a positive and significant effect on both sustainable tourism management and tourism activity resilience. Sustainable tourism management also shows a positive and considerable influence on tourism activity resilience. Furthermore, a partial mediation effect was identified, wherein sustainable tourism management strengthens the impact of multi-stakeholder collaboration on the strength of tourism activities. Structured and inclusive multi-stakeholder collaboration, when integrated with sustainable tourism management practices, enhances the resilience of tourism activities in community-based destinations. These results underscore the crucial importance of collaborative governance and sustainable management practices in fostering destination sustainability and resilience.

MATERIALISM AND IMPULSIVE BUYING: EVIDENCE OF BUY-NOW-PAY-LATER AS A MEDIATOR AMONG INDONESIAN CONSUMERS

Rizki , Kurniady, Pradana, Mahir, Kartawinata, Budi Rustandi
Abstract: The rapid diffusion of Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL) services has reshaped consumption in emerging economies. This article  examines how materialistic value orientations stimulate impulsive buying through BNPL usage among Indonesian… donesian PayLater users. A cross-sectional survey of 670 respondents was analysed with partial least-squares structural-equation modelling (PLS-SEM). Materialism had a strong positive effect on BNPL adoption (β = 0.762) and a moderate direct effect on impulsive buying (β = 0.350). BNPL, in turn, exerted a substantial impact on impulsive buying (β = 0.480) and partially mediated the materialism–impulsivity link (indirect β = 0.366). The model explained 65% of BNPL variance and 72% of impulsive buying variance, while exhibiting acceptable fit indices (SRMR = 0.035; NFI = 0.885). Findings highlight BNPL’s dual role as a financial innovation and a behavioural catalyst, raising implications for platform design, consumer literacy programmes, and regulatory oversight.

FULL DAY SCHOOL VS. MODULAR EDUCATION SYSTEM: A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF INDONESIA AND THE UNITED KINGDOM

Ika Kurnia Sofiani, Mardiana, Nurlidia Putri, Fitri Barokah
Abstract: The transformation of Indonesia's education system faces significant challenges in aligning with the demands of globalization, digitalization, and lifelong learning. These challenges have sparked debates regarding the effectiveness… fectiveness of the full-day school model and the modular education system. This study aims to comparatively analyze these two approaches within the context of primary and secondary education in Indonesia, referencing modular education practices in the United Kingdom as an international benchmark. The study employs a qualitative approach based on a literature review, utilizing thematic content analysis of 20 accredited scholarly sources selected through strict inclusion criteria, and analyzed with the assistance of NVivo software to ensure thematic accuracy. The findings indicate that the full-day school model excels in fostering discipline and consistent learning structures; however, it poses risks of cognitive fatigue and is less supportive of differentiated instruction. In contrast, the modular system offers flexibility, opportunities for personalized learning, and deeper conceptual understanding, yet requires adequate digital infrastructure and self-directed learning literacy, which are not evenly distributed. The study concludes that no single educational model is universally superior; instead, each holds contextual relevance. This research contributes theoretically by enriching the comparative education literature and practically by informing the design of more adaptive, inclusive, and responsive learning policies to meet the challenges of the 21st century, while also supporting efforts to achieve quality education as outlined in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

ECOLOGICAL EDUCATION IN THE PROPHET’S HADITHS: A THEMATIC STUDY ON HADITHS RELATED TO THE ENVIRONMENT

Awan, Edy Kurniawan, Askar , Romlah Abubakar, Ghofur , Abdul
Abstract: Environmental awareness among humans regarding the importance of preserving nature—bestowed by Allah as a means to sustain life—is gradually declining. Irresponsible human actions frequently lead to environmental damage… age and ecological imbalance. If left unaddressed, such behavior poses serious threats to the continuity of life. This study aims to explore the Prophet Muhammad’s hadiths that emphasize the importance of environmental preservation. Employing a qualitative method with a literature review approach, this research analyzes relevant hadiths and scholarly interpretations. The findings reveal that the Prophet’s teachings on ecological preservation are comprehensive and highly relevant to contemporary environmental challenges. THE IMPACT OF LIQUIDITY RATIO ON THE COMPANY VALUE OF INDONESIAN SYARIAH BANKS: CAPITAL STRUCTURE AS A MODERATING VARIABLE FOR THE 2021-2023 PERIOD

Sintia, Nijar Kurnia Romdoni
Abstract: This study aims to analyze the impact of liquidity ratios on the corporate value of banking companies with the role of capital structure as a moderating variable. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from… rom the annual financial reports of Bank Syariah Indonesia listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2021–2023. The method used is multiple regression analysis with a model that includes the interaction between liquidity ratios (Current Ratio) and capital structure (Debt to Equity Ratio) as a moderating variable on corporate value, measured by Price to Book Value (PBV). The results of the study show that liquidity ratios have a positive and significant impact on corporate value, while capital structure has a negative impact on corporate value. In addition, the interaction test shows that capital structure acts as a moderating variable that reduces the positive impact of liquidity ratios on corporate value. These findings indicate that although a high liquidity ratio can increase corporate value, this effect may be diminished if the bank has a capital structure more dominated by debt. This study provides important implications for bank management in balancing liquidity and capital structure to maximize corporate value.
