udy adopts a descriptive qualitative method using Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis (AWK) as the main framework. Data is collected through documentation and recording of news texts from relevant online media. Data analysis was carried out sequentially covering Fairclough's three dimensions: microstructural analysis (word choice, sentence structure, rhetorical strategy), mesostructural analysis (the practice of production and distribution of news texts), and macrostructural analysis (social and ideological relationships that underlie discourse). The results of this study reveal the complex representation of inequality in access to education through critical discourse analysis (AWK) on the news "Former Chicken Cage Becomes School" with the Norman Fairclough approach. Microstructurally, word choice and sentence structure build a narrative of struggle and implicit criticism of the system. At the mesostructural level, local MATAMAROS.COM strategic media frame this issue as an urgent social issue, including publication during National Education Day 2025 to maximize impact. Macrostructurally, the news reflects structural inequality due to geographical/economic marginalization, reinforces the ideology of "unsung heroes," and highlights the power imbalance. This descriptive qualitative research concludes that the news is a strong linguistic construct, aiming to mobilize public opinion on inequality in access to education, while reflecting the issue of unequal development and the role of actors in social justice
Abstract:Learning in the 21st century requires teachers to act not only as conveyors of information but also as designers of creative learning that is relevant to students' needs. The application of a deep learning approach is believed…
lieved to improve critical thinking skills, in-depth conceptual understanding, and collaborative skills, which are crucial in facing the challenges of the independent curriculum. In this context, the role of teachers in the West Angkola District Teacher Working Group (KKG) is crucial to examine, particularly in designing creative learning oriented toward developing higher-order thinking skills. This study aims to analyzea the role of teachers in designing creative learning based on deep learning and explore the strategies used to integrate deep learning principles into learning planning and practice. The method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies involving teachers who are members of the West Angkola District KKG.The results indicate that teachers play a strategic role in designing creative learning through the use of interactive media, developing problem-based activities, and implementing collaborative learning models. Teachers also strive to foster students' critical thinking skills through structured discussions, explorations, and reflections. The learning design implemented has been proven to not only increase student motivation but also strengthen teachers' professional competence in managing more meaningful learning. Thus, it can be concluded that the role of teachers in designing creative learning using a deep learning approach significantly contributes to the quality of the learning process in elementary schools. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference in developing creative learning practices based on deep learning in the Teachers' Working Group (KKG) and other teacher professional development forums.
Abstract:Stunting remains a major public health issue hindering the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 2 (Zero Hunger) and Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-Being). Previous studies have mostly…
focused on nutrition and health aspects, while this research addresses the research gap by analyzing policy strategies based on cross-sectoral collaboration at the village level. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze stunting mitigation policy strategies within the framework of achieving the SDGs in Bayumundu Village, Kaduhejo District, Pandeglang Regency. This research employs Collaborative Governance theory (Ansell & Gash, 2008) and SWOT analysis (Rangkuti, 2018) to map internal–external factors and assess the quality of multi-stakeholder collaboration. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, collecting data through interviews, observation, and documentation, with triangulation for data validation. The findings indicate that the main strengths of the strategy are community awareness campaigns and available health infrastructure, while the greatest opportunity comes from national policy and government support. However, weaknesses such as limited community understanding and threats such as socio-economic inequality remain significant challenges. The study concludes that the success of stunting mitigation strategies is strongly determined by actor synergy, facilitative leadership at the village level, and the utilization of national policy opportunities. It recommends strengthening collaborative institutional design and leveraging health technologies to ensure program sustainability
Abstract:This study aims to analyze the income of offline store traders in the Gorontalo City Central Market after the emergence of Online Shop. The main problem raised is to examine the impact of the rise of online shops on the…
financial condition of traditional traders. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach to explore the experiences and deep perceptions of the affected traders. The research informants consisted of 5 shop owners (textiles, shoes, and cosmetics) in the Gorontalo City Central Market who have been running their businesses for many years. The results of the study consistently show that the presence of online shops has had a very significant negative impact on the financial condition of offline store traders in the Gorontalo City Central Market. Before the rise of online shops (around 2018 and below), offline store sales conditions were very good and stable, with an average daily turnover ranging from IDR 1,000,000 to IDR 2,000,000, even reaching up to IDR 5,000,000 during the high season. After the emergence of online shops (around 2018-2020), merchants' income experienced a sharp decline.
Abstract:Menstrual pain, or dysmenorrhea, is a common menstrual disorder experienced by teenage girls that can disrupt daily activities. Menstrual pain management includes, but is not limited to, pharmacological and non-pharmacological…
ogical approaches. One of the non-pharmacological treatments is called acupressure. This study aims to determine the effect of acupressure therapy on the intensity of menstrual pain among female students at SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. The research employed a quantitative design with a one-group pretest and posttest quasi-experimental design. The population consisted of 153 girls, and 20 of them were selected as the sample using a purposive sampling technique. The data were collected using a Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) questionnaire from May 7th to 17th, 2025. Then, the data was analyzed using the Wilcoxon Test, which obtained a p-value of 0.000 <0.05. This result indicated there was an acupressure effect on menstrual pain. Therefore, this finding proved that the use of acupressure influenced menstrual pain among female students at SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh. This study recommends that female students familiarize themselves with and practice acupressure techniques as an effort to reduce menstrual pain without relying on medication. Furthermore, female students need to be more open to seeking information and natural solutions for controlling reproductive health at an early age.
Abstract:A fuzzy logic-based control system in household split-type air conditioners (AC) offers an alternative approach to reducing excess energy consumption without compromising thermal comfort. This study aims to test the effectiveness…
ctiveness of three types of membership functions (MF), namely triangular, trapezoidal, and Gaussian, in improving energy efficiency and the stability of room temperature and humidity control. Simulations were performed using MATLAB software with the Mamdani fuzzy inference method and centroid defuzzification technique. The three MF were tested using 30 sets of temperature and humidity data to analyze their effect on fan speed and power consumption. The simulation results show that the trapezoidal MF provides the highest energy efficiency of 57.24%, followed by the Gaussian MF at 56.80% and the triangular MF at 53.71%. These findings indicate that fuzzy systems can significantly reduce energy consumption compared to conventional air conditioner controllers. This research is expected to serve as a reference in the development of more energy-efficient intelligent control systems.

The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample consists of 120 teachers selected through proportional stratified random sampling. The research instrument is a Likert-scale questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was carried out using Spearman correlation tests and non-parametric regression with the aid of SPSS version 29.00. The results show that all independent variables are positively and significantly related to teacher work team effectiveness (Transformational Leadership: ρ = 0.757; Work Climate: ρ = 0.795; Skill Variety: ρ = 0.767; p < 0.05). Non-parametric regression testing indicates a significant simultaneous effect (ρ = 0.000). Partially, Transformational Leadership (p = 0.253; p = 0.000), Work Climate (ρ = 0.355; p = 0.000), and Skill Variety (ρ = 0.282; p = 0.000) significantly influence teacher work team effectiveness. Work climate is proven to be the dominant factor affecting team effectiveness. The implications of this study affirm that improving teacher work team effectiveness must be carried out holistically through strengthening school principals’ transformational leadership, creating a conducive work climate, and developing teachers’ skill variety.
Abstract:This study aims to analyze the influence of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) on the company's financial performance, as well as test the role of operational efficiency as a moderation variable in this relationship.…
ship. The research object includes non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2014–2023. ESG variables are measured using Bloomberg's ESG score which includes environmental, social, and governance dimensions, while operational efficiency is proxied by the Total Asset Turnover ratio. Financial performance is proxied by Return on Assets. The research method uses a quantitative approach with panel data regression analysis. The research sample consisted of 80 companies with a total of 711 observations. The results of the study show that ESG has a significant negative effect on financial performance. However, operational efficiency has been shown to play a role as a moderation variable that strengthens the relationship between ESG and financial performance. This research makes a theoretical contribution by enriching the literature on the relationship between ESG and financial performance, especially in the context of emerging markets. From a practical perspective, the results indicate that the implementation of ESG will only create financial value if integrated with internal efficiency strategies. Thus, companies are advised to not only focus on compliance with ESG aspects, but also ensure efficient management of resources to increase long-term profitability.
Abstract:This study aims to analyze the implementation of management functions in the management of professional zakat at the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of Padangsidimpuan City. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data…
were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, with triangulation applied to ensure validity. The findings show that BAZNAS has implemented the four classical management functions—planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising—in managing professional zakat from civil servants. Planning is carried out through the preparation of zakat collection programs in cooperation with government institutions; organizing is realized through the formation of operational sub-units; implementation is conducted by collecting zakat through salary deductions and distributing it to mustahik via social and empowerment programs; while supervision is executed by an Internal Audit Unit to maintain accountability and transparency. Supporting factors include government affiliation and mayoral instructions, whereas inhibiting factors involve limited human resources, the absence of binding local regulations, restricted access to military and police institutions, and low awareness among civil servants. The study concludes that although BAZNAS has applied management principles in practice, improvements are still needed in human resource regeneration, regulatory frameworks, and digital zakat systems to optimize professional zakat management.
