Elvira Delvi Sopalauw
Abstract: This study aims to examine the effectiveness of education in improving the welfare of coastal communities through sustainable management of marine resources in Kairatu Village, West Seram Regency, Maluku Province. The… he research method used is a quantitative approach with survey techniques. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire distributed to 30 respondents who are coastal communities, supplemented by limited interviews to enrich the data. The analysis technique used is simple linear regression to determine the effect of the effectiveness of education (independent variable) on the level of welfare of coastal communities (dependent variable). The results of the analysis show that there is a strong, positive, and significant relationship between the effectiveness of education and community welfare, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.72. This means that 72% of the variation in coastal community welfare can be explained by the effectiveness of education, while the rest is influenced by other external factors. This study shows that education that is right on target, locally based, and contextual has a major contribution in increasing community capacity in managing marine resources sustainably. Therefore, strengthening education in coastal areas is an important strategy in efforts to improve the quality of life and empower the economy of coastal communities.

Irfan, Alif
Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of social support on academic stress in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Masters students of Class of 2024 at Sultan Agung Islamic University Semarang. The method used is a quantitative… tative approach with data collection techniques through closed questionnaires. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents who were selected randomly. The results of the partial test analysis (t-test) show that self-efficacy has a significant effect on academic stress, with a significance value of 0.001 (p <0.05) and a calculated t value of 3.300 which is greater than the t table of 1.98472. This indicates a positive influence between self-efficacy and academic stress. In addition, the coefficient of determination (R square) value of 0.316 indicates that 31% of the variation in academic stress can be explained by the self-efficacy variable, while the remaining 69% is influenced by other factors outside the study. The normality test using the Monte Carlo approach produced a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.249, which means that the data is normally distributed. Thus, this study confirms the importance of the role of self-efficacy and social support in reducing students' academic stress.

Sinaga, Boy Andika
Abstract: In order to show how a micromanaged leadership style impacts job satisfaction among generation Z employees, this study used self-efficacy as a mediating variable. The study's sample and demographic were Riau Province's Generation… eneration Z workers, who were born between 1997 and 2012. The sample size consisted of 203 respondents using a non-probability sampling approach and a questionnaire survey for data collection. The study's conclusions were tested using SmartPLS 3. It featured an outside model, like a validity and reliability test, and an interior model, such a model fit test and a research hypothesis test. The results of the investigation demonstrated the validity and accuracy of each indicator. The hypothesis test results demonstrated that job satisfaction was positively and significantly impacted by self-efficacy, that self-efficacy was positively and significantly impacted by micromanaged leadership style, and that job satisfaction was not significantly impacted by leadership style. Indirect hypothesis testing using self-efficacy as a mediator between job satisfaction and the micromanaged leadership style produced positive and significant results. The results of the study indicate that the relationship between work happiness and micromanagement leadership style can be totally mediated by self-efficacy.

THE DETERMINATION OF STATE BASELINES POST-PEAT ABRASION ON BENGKALIS ISLAND AS INDONESIA'S FOREMOST ISLAND IN TERMS OF INTERNATIONAL LAW OF THE SEA PERSPECTIVE

Cahyani, Harpita Dwi, Maria Maya Lestari, Ledy Diana
Abstract: Coastal abrasion is a growing global concern, particularly for Indonesia, a country with one of the longest coastlines in the world. Abrasion poses significant challenges to coastal ecosystems and the livelihoods of local… l communities. Bengkalis Island, one of Indonesia's outermost and foremost islands, has experienced intensified abrasion in recent decades. Located in Riau Province and facing the Strait of Malacca, this peat-contoured island serves as a basepoint for Indonesia's archipelagic baselines. This research aims to: (1) analyze the legal implications of peat erosion on Indonesia's baselines post-erosion, and (2) describe the Indonesian government's efforts to address the issue. This normative legal research examines the synchronization between national regulations and international standards regarding peatland conservation and erosion mitigation, particularly in strategically important foremost islands. The study reveals two key findings. First, peat abrasion on Bengkalis Island has serious legal implications for determining Indonesia's archipelagic baselines and maritime boundaries under UNCLOS 1982. Abrasion also threatens the island's status as an outermost and foremost island, potentially leading to the loss of Indonesia's rights over natural resources in the area. Failure to protect peat ecosystems may be considered a violation of Indonesia's international obligations to preserve marine and wetland environments under UNCLOS 1982 and the Ramsar Convention. Second, the Indonesian government has implemented legal and technical measures, such as issuing Government Regulation No. 57 of 2016 on Peat Ecosystem Protection and Management, constructing breakwaters, planting mangroves, and implementing the 3R program (Rewetting, Revegetation, and Revitalization) through the Peat and Mangrove Restoration Agency (BRGM). These efforts have shown positive results in reducing erosion rates and protecting coastalines.

Putu Hendra Putra, Diyah Sukanti Cahyaningsih, Gaguk Apriyanto
Abstract: The need for accountability in Indonesian government demands transparency and accurate financial reports. This research examines the influence of work competency and the use of information technology (IT) on the quality… of financial reports and their impact on the operational efficiency of Korem 083/BDJ. With quantitative descriptive methods and path analysis using SmartPLS and SEM-PLS, this research involved employees in the planning and finance fields. The variables studied include work competency, IT utilization, financial report quality, and operational efficiency. The research results show that IT utilization has a positive impact on operational efficiency, while work competency has a negative impact. However, work and IT competencies contribute positively to the quality of financial reports, which ultimately increases operational efficiency. The quality of financial reports has also been proven to mediate the relationship between work competency, IT utilization and operational efficiency. These findings confirm that increasing operational efficiency is very dependent on the quality of financial reports as well as optimizing information technology and work competencies.
