CHARACTER EDUCATION ACCORDING TO IMAM AN- NAWAWI IN THE HADITH OF AL- ARBA’IN AND THE PERSPECTIVE OF ISLAMIC SCHOLARS

Widayanti, Nurul
Abstract: Allah created Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) not without purpose or intention. It was not merely to make the earth more vibrant, but the primary purpose was to appoint Adam (peace be upon him) as a khalifah—a leader on… on earth. The role of a leader is to organize, manage, protect, preserve, and utilize all the resources that Allah has provided on this earth for the benefit and well-being of humankind. To fulfill his responsibilities as a leader, Allah prepared and equipped Adam (peace be upon him) with intellect and knowledge . In Surah At-Tin, verse 4, Allah explains: "Indeed, We created man in the best of stature," which means that Allah created humans in the most perfect form, endowed with intellect. With this intellect, humans are able to explore all of their potential for the benefit of humanity.

ISLAMIC LAW ANALYSIS ON PARENTS' RESPONSIBILITIES TOWARDS CHILDREN WITH DISABILITIES (CASE STUDY IN KISARAN BARAT DISTRICT, ASAHAN REGENCY)

Siagian, Nilasari, Zamroni, Surono, Ananda, Putri
Abstract: Parental responsibility towards children with disabilities in Islamic legal analysis emphasizes the principles of compassion, justice and protection of every individual, including those with special needs. In Islam, children,… dren, including children with disabilities, are considered as a mandate given by Allah SWT to parents. Therefore, parents have a great responsibility in caring for, protecting and guiding their children comprehensively, including physical, mental and spiritual aspects. The focus of research in writing this thesis is the responsibility of parents towards children with special needs. The purpose of the study is to analyze and understand the perspective of Islamic law on parental responsibility towards children with disabilities comprehensively in Kisaran Barat District, Asahan Regency. This method uses a qualitative research method which is a process of various steps involving researchers, theoretical and interpretative paradigms, research strategies, data collection methods and empirical data analysis as well as the development of interpretations and presentation of research results. Children with disabilities have physical limitations, hearing limitations, vision limitations, intellectual limitations, emotional behavioral limitations and communication limitations. Islamic law teaches that parents must provide affection and fair treatment without discriminating between children with special needs and children without, and requires parents to seek education and life skills that will enable children with disabilities to participate well in society. In an effort to meet their needs, Islam also allows parents to seek professional help, such as therapy or health services, to support their child's development.

INTEGRATING SHARIA VALUES AND MEDICAL STANDARDS IN SAFE AND ETHICAL SUNNAH CUPPING PRACTICES

Isdianto, Andik, Fitrianti, Novariza, Arif, Abdul Hamid, Widada, Wahyudi
Abstract: Sunnah cupping therapy (hijamah) is a form of prophetic medicine that combines spiritual and therapeutic dimensions but often lacks adherence to clinical safety standards. This study aims to analyze the urgency of integrating… ating Sharia values—particularly maqashid shariah (protection of life) and la dharara wa la dhirar—with emergency medical protocols in sunnah cupping practice. The research uses a normative-qualitative literature review method. Data were collected from recent academic sources and analyzed through content analysis to develop an ethical and procedural framework. Findings reveal that sunnah cupping carries clinical risks such as infection, bleeding, and vasovagal shock when performed without medical protocols. The integration of Sharia and medical principles is operationalized through emergency training, Islamic-based SOPs, and education-regulation mechanisms rooted in maqashid. Core Islamic ethics—such as ikhlas (intention), amanah (trust), and tathir al-adawat (sterilization)—are essential moral pillars within the clinical service model. This study concludes that the integration of Sharia values with emergency medical preparedness is a critical need in the practice of sunnah cupping. The study recommends the development of standardized curricula, clinic certification, and first aid (CPR) training for therapists to ensure safety, professionalism, and religious legitimacy.

THE EFFECT OF TRAINING USING RUBBER WEIGHTS AND WITHOUT WEIGHTS ON THE SPEED OF PENCAK SILAT PSHT RANTING CRESCENT KICK TANAH PUTIH TANJUNG MELAWAN

Tika Hariyanti, Aref Vai, Syahriadi
Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of training using rubber weights and with-out weights on the speed of the PSHT Tanah Putih Tanjung Melawan pencak silat sickle kick. This study is an experimental study using the True… rue experiment design method. The sample in this study was 14 female athletes. The instrument in this study was a 10-second sickle kick speed test with 3 trials and the best value was taken. Data analysis and testing of the research hypothesis used the t-test analysis technique (t-test) with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of the study showed that: (1) there was an increase in the speed of the sickle kick after athletes followed a training program using rubber weights with an average value of 13.71 in the pre-test and increased by 6.72 or 7% to 20.43 in the post-test. The statistical results showed that the sig-2 tailed value was 0.000 ≤ 0.05. (2) there is an increase in the speed of the sickle kick after the athlete follows a training program without rubber weights with an average value of 13.43 in the pre-test increasing by 5% to 18.43 in the post-test. With statistical results showing that the sig-2 tailed value is 0.000 ≤ 0.05. (3) there is an increase in kick speed between training using rubber weights and without weights with a sig-2 tailed value of 0.013 ≤ 0.05. It can be concluded that training using rubber weights is more effective in increasing the speed of the sickle kick compared to training without rubber weights in the Pen-cak Silat PSHT Ranting Tanah Putih Tanjung Melawan.

THE QURAN AND EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES FOR INTER-RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE

Muhammad Rizkon, Muhammad Azizan Fitriana, Samsul Ariyadi
Abstract: Diversity is an inevitability that cannot be avoided. It is a sunnatullah that should be done without consent. When diversity is combined with various assumptions of truth, an intolerant attitude arises. This problem is… caused by a misunderstanding of the message of religious tolerance, which causes its adherents to appear with different faces. Therefore, the Qur'an explains what tolerance really is in Islamic teachings. Based on this problem, the researcher is interested in conducting a comparative analysis of how the interpretations of Hamka and Ali As-Ṣabūnī are related to religious tolerance, as well as the strengthening of the socio-historical background of both of them towards this interpretation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a comparative study method. Data collection consists of literature studies and observations. Descriptive analysis is used in the comparative analysis method. Lucien Goldmann's genetic structuralism theory is one of the theories used to strengthen research as a surgical tool. This theory explains that a work or text is the work of its own author, along with the historical reality that conditions the emergence of the work or text. To improve the analysis of this research, discussions of scholars and interpreters of the verses of the Qur'an related to religious tolerance are also used. Research shows that Hamka and Ali As-Ṣabūnī generally agree that coercion in embracing religion is not allowed. However, Hamka directs the meaning of religious tolerance with the applicable conditions and limitations. This study also refers to the theory of genetic structure which states that the tendency of general and specific interpretations of poems on religious tolerance cannot be separated from the socio-historical context of each community in which the two figures lived. This assumption is that the works of the two figures are not only personal works, but also the works of their respective communities and the social and historical realities of their respective times.

MEDICAL EMERGENCIES IN SUNNAH CUPPING THERAPY: A CLINICAL REVIEW AND ISLAMIC ETHICAL PERSPECTIVE

Isdianto, Andik, Fitrianti, Novariza
Abstract: Sunnah cupping therapy is widely recognized as part of prophetic medicine with spiritual and therapeutic benefits. However, its implementation often overlooks potential medical emergencies, especially when conducted without… out proper safety protocols. This study aims to identify types of medical emergencies associated with sunnah cupping therapy through a critical literature review. A descriptive-qualitative approach was used, based on a systematic review of scientific publications from 2010 to 2024 obtained from databases such as PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. The results revealed seven major types of complications in cupping practice: infections (local to systemic), severe bleeding and hematoma, vasovagal and hypovolemic shock, allergic reactions, burns (in fire cupping), neurological responses (epilepsy), and dissociative psychological responses (possession). These complications are primarily caused by the lack of medical screening, limited practitioner training, and absence of emergency handling protocols. The study emphasizes the urgency of integrating Islamic ethical values with emergency medical standards in cupping practice. It recommends enhancing public education, practitioner certification, and clinical regulations to ensure patient safety.

GUS DUR’S IDEAS IN INFLUENCING POSTCOLONIAL ISLAMIC NUSANTARA THOUGHT

Subekti, Fiqi Restu, Mutiullah
Abstract: The present article examines the influence of the thought of KH. Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur) on the formation of postcolonial discourse in the context of Islam Nusantara. In the postcolonial context, the Islamic construction… tion of the Archipelago is inextricably linked to colonial epistemological legacies and the hegemony of external cultures, particularly Arabic. Gus Dur’s thought process can be understood as a deconstructive effort against the dichotomy between “pure” and “local” Islam that was created by colonial powers and puritan movements. It is evident that Gus Dur’s rejection of the uniformity of Arab culture as the sole representation of Islam was underpinned by a sharp critique of arabisation. As an alternative, he proffered the concept of Islamic pribumisation, defined as the adjustment of Islamic expression to local cultural values without sacrificing the substance of the teachings. Furthermore, Gus Dur placed significant emphasis on the necessity of contextualising Islamic teachings, emphasising the importance of re-evaluating Islamic values in accordance with the prevailing social and cultural dynamics of Indonesian society. It is asserted that an approach of this nature will engender the concepts of pluralism and tolerance, which will in turn serve as the primary foundations upon which religious life is to be constructed. The present study employs a qualitative approach, utilising critical discourse analysis of Gus Dur’s ideas and relevant supporting literature. The findings demonstrate that Gus Dur’s thought plays a significant role in formulating the paradigm of Islam Nusantara. This paradigm is characterised by its responsiveness to local realities, its transcendence of religious formalism, and its rehabilitation of cultural dignity as an integral part of Islamic expression. Consequently, the thought of Gus Dur constitutes a significant contribution to the development of a plural, humanist and contextual Islamic civilisation.

Abstract: This study aims to find out the extent of gross motor skills of grade 5 elementary school students in SDN 003 Seri Kuala Lobam. The researcher took research samples at the school location in the coastal area. According to… o local elementary school teachers and also the results of researchers' observations over the years, there are differences in the development of both academic and non-academic elementary school students between areas adjacent to the sea and those that are not. including in his gross motor development. Motor development is very necessary for children's development, especially in school. gross motor is a skill that requires coordination of a large part of the child's body. Based on the above opinion, it is concluded that gross motor is a physical movement activity that requires coordination of the limbs by using their large muscles. Students who have good motor skills are able to do sports skills than students who have fission skills. From the explanation above, the researcher wants to conduct research on the Gross Motor Ability Profile of students, where this is the main focus because Gross Motor Skills is very important to be mastered by a person because he can do daily activities, without having good movements he will lag behind others, such as: running, jumping, pushing, throwing, catching, kicking and so on, these activities require and use large muscles in a person's body

OPTIMIZING INCISION DEPTH IN SUNNAH CUPPING THERAPY FOR SAFETY AND THERAPEUTIC EFFICACY

Isdianto, Andik, Fitrianti, Novariza
Abstract: This study aims to evaluate the impact of incision depth in Sunnah cupping therapy on safety and therapeutic efficacy, with a focus on identifying the optimal incision depth that minimizes risks while maximizing therapeutic… tic benefits. The method used is a literature review, gathering data from scientific databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar using keywords related to cupping therapy, incision depth, and dermatological aspects. The findings reveal that an incision depth of 0.5 mm to 1 mm in the dermis layer not only avoids damage to the deeper hypodermis but is also sufficient for the effective extraction of stagnant blood. This very light incision provides advantages in enhancing blood circulation and facilitating the extraction of stagnant blood necessary in cupping therapy. This approach, involving extremely light incisions, cannot be considered invasive and is highly suitable for enhancing therapy efficacy without compromising patient safety. Further discussion in the study highlights that with the correct incision technique, cupping therapy can become safer and more effective, encouraging significant improvements in immune response and tissue regeneration. The conclusion of this study underscores the importance of standardizing procedures and adequate training for cupping practitioners to ensure safe and effective practices. Further research is recommended to strengthen the evidence related to the effectiveness and safety of cupping therapy and to develop more detailed standard protocols.

RECONSTRUCTION OF MAWARIS LAW IN A MODERN CONTEXT: THE PERSPECTIVE OF GENDER EQUALITY IN ISLAMIC LAW

Hermawan, Nanang
Abstract: This research aims to explore the reconstruction of mawaris law in Islam in the modern context, especially by considering the principle of gender equality without abandoning sharia values. The research method used is qualitative,… litative, with textual analysis of mawaris verses in the Qur'an, Hadith, and the study of the theory of maqaṣid shari'ah. Case studies in several Muslim countries were also conducted to assess the implementation of modified mawaris laws within the national legal framework. The results of the study show that mawaris law, although textual in the Qur'an, provides space for reinterpretation through the maqaṣid shari'ah approach. This approach emphasizes aspects of justice, benefit, and equality that are in line with Islamic values. The study also found that the reconstruction of mawaris law can support the strengthening of women's position in the family and society without eliminating the principle of justice that is the core of sharia. This study concludes that mawaris law can be adapted to the modern context through reinterpretation based on maqaṣid shari'ah. Thus, this reconstruction not only answers the challenges of the modern era but also maintains the relevance of Islamic law as a universal guideline.
