Abstract:Background: The Family Planning Program (KB) is a government effort to control population growth in Indonesia. One of the contraceptive methods that is highly recommended in the KB program is the intra uterine device (IUD)…
D) or often called a spiral. IUD is a contraceptive that can be used in the long term with high effectiveness in preventing pregnancy, while having minimal risk of side effects if used correctly, but the number of IUD usage in Indonesia is still relatively low compared to other contraceptive methods. Research Objective: To determine the effect of knowledge and attitude on the interest of mothers in using IUD KB at the Wanayasa Health Center. Method: This study used a quantitative method with a sample of 66 respondents. Data analysis was carried out using bivariate and univariate, significance was determined if (p value <0.05). data processing was carried out using SPSS. Result: The results of the study showed that in the knowledge variable there were 37 respondents with good knowledge, 23 respondents with sufficient knowledge and 6 respondents with less knowledge. As for the attitude variable, there were 52 respondents with positive attitudes and 14 respondents with negative attitudes. The results of this study also show that there is an influence between knowledge and interest in mothers using IUD with P-Value = 0.003, while the attitude variable also shows that there is an influence between attitude and interest in mothers using IUD with P-Value = 0.010. Conclusion: there is a significant influence between knowledge on interest in mothers using IUD and attitude on interest in mothers using IUD
Abstract:Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) includes physical, emotional, and behavioral symptoms pre-menstruation. These symptoms affect the daily activities of adolescent girls. Regular physical activity can increase endorphin production,…
ion, which may reduce PMS symptoms. This study aims to investigate the correlation between physical activity and PMS symptoms among girls in Abulyatama Senior High School. This study used a quantitative technique with a descriptive approach. The population consisted of all 41 adolescent girls at Abulyatama Senior High School who were also selected as the sample using a total sampling technique. The data collection from April 24th to May 5th, 2025. The Global Physical Activity Questionnaire (GPAQ) was used to measure physical activity level, while the Shortened Premenstrual Assessment Form (SPAF) was used to assess PMS symptoms. Data analysis used the Chi- Square test using univariate and bivariate analysis techniques. The results showed a correlation between physical activity and premenstrual syndrome with p = 0.018 correlation (p<0,05). These findings suggest there is a significant correlation between physical activity and reduced PMS symptoms among girls in Abulyatama Senior High School. This study suggests that the girls regularly do physical activity and use it as one non-pharmacological treatment to reduce PMS symptoms.
Abstract:Stroke is a condition in which brain function is rapidly disrupted and lasts for more than 24 hours due to an interruption of blood flow to the brain. Globally, the incidence and morbidity rates of stroke continue to increase.…
rease. The quality of life of acute and chronic stroke patients is influenced by post-stroke depression. Community resources (CR) and spiritual religious coping (SRC) factors are also related to the coping adaptation strategies of family caregivers for members who have experienced a stroke. Patients who experience post-stroke depression show a lower quality of life one year after stroke compared to those who do not experience it. This study is a quantitative research with an observational study design. The study was conducted from January to March 2024 in Kotamobagu City. The total population of stroke patients distributed across seven community health centers in Tomohon City is 200 patients. The sample was taken using total sampling method consisting of 200 family caregivers. The results were then analyzed using the Chi Square test with SPSS. All variables were significantly related to the coping adaptation strategies of family caregivers for members who had a stroke. Community resources (CR) were significantly related to caregiver coping strategies (p = 0.025), and spiritual religious coping (SRC) was also significantly related to coping strategies (p = 0.032). Community resources and spiritual religious coping among family caregivers of post-stroke patients are needed to increase motivation and reduce caregiver stress..

a total sample of 383 NCD patients (purposive sampling) with stratified sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires both socio and demographics and HL of NCD patients. The results of this study were [education (p=0.023, OR=2.711); gender (p=0.017, OR=2.001); language (p=0.001, OR=1.013); age (p=0.020, OR=2.968); employment status (p=0.001, OR=1.248); residence (p=0.012, OR=2.068); personal health condition (p=0.031, OR=5.840); access to health information (p=0.020, OR=2.968). In the logistic regression test, the personal health condition factor was most associated with HL of NCD patients (p=0.010, OR=5.840). In conclusion, the study showed that socio-demographic factors (education, gender, language, age, employment status, residence, personal health condition and access to health information simultaneously or partially influenced the HL of patients with NCDs. The most dominant factor associated with HL of patients with NCDs was personal health conditions. The role of health workers provides many sources of information to develop and learn solutions and support for people with various types of NCDs.

gn. The study population was 73 respondents with a questionnaire instrument. The results show that facilities and infrastructure affect revenue, and operational costs affect revenue. The coefficient of determination (R²) shows that both independent variables are able to explain variations in revenue substantially. This finding indicates that improving the quality of facilities and infrastructure and operational cost efficiency can increase company revenue. Perumda Muara Tirta management is expected to focus more on infrastructure management and operational cost control to maintain sustainable financial performance.
Abstract:Inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) are commonly prescribed to manage asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) due to their local anti-inflammatory effects in the airways. However, prolonged or high-dose ICS use…
has been associated with systemic adverse effects, including decreased bone mineral density (BMD) and increased risk of osteoporosis. This review aimed to examine the association between ICS use and the risk of osteoporosis or fractures, and to identify modifying factors such as dose, duration, patient age, sex, and type of corticosteroid used. Literature review was conducted using databases including PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science. Articles were selected using specific inclusion and exclusion criteria. The review focused on original studies published up to March 2025, resulting in 28 relevant articles, of which 6–8 high-quality studies were analyzed in depth. Most studies demonstrated that long-term or high-dose ICS use is associated with decreased BMD and increased risk of fractures, especially in elderly COPD patients. The greatest risk was linked to fluticasone and budesonide at doses ≥500 µg/day. Some studies found neutral or even protective effects in specific subgroups, indicating population-dependent variability. Meta-analyses revealed conflicting results due to heterogeneity in populations and methodologies. High-dose and long-term ICS use may increase the risk of osteoporosis. Clinicians should consider individualized risk assessments and adopt strategies such as using the lowest effective dose, monitoring BMD, and providing calcium and vitamin D supplementation in at-risk populations.

eteness of medical record documentation, particularly in the emergency department, is an indicator of service quality that requires serious attention. The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of completeness of identification, authentication, recording, and important reporting in the medical records of emergency patients diagnosed with hypertension at Wangaya Regional Hospital, Denpasar City. This study used a quantitative descriptive method. The population was all 330 medical records of emergency patients diagnosed with hypertension. A sample of 199 files was drawn using a probability sampling technique using a simple random sampling approach. The results showed that completeness of identification reached 100%, authentication reached 176 documents (88.44%), recording reached 174 documents (84.44%), and reporting reached 159 documents (79.90%). It can be concluded that identification had the highest level of completeness, while reporting had the lowest level of completeness. Researchers suggest that hospitals increase outreach and supervision of medical staff, especially in emergency installations, regarding the importance of completeness and timeliness of filling out medical record documents.
