PENGARUH BRAND IMAGE DAN PERCEIVED QUALITY TERHADAP WILLINGNESS TO PAY PREMIUM PADA PRODUK UMKM LOKAL

Joko, Tarjono
Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the effect of brand image and perceived quality on willingness to pay premium for local Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) products. Amid increasingly intense market competition with… imported goods and national brands, local MSMEs are required to build strong brand image and good perceived quality so that consumers are willing to pay a premium price. A quantitative approach with a causal research design was employed. The study population consisted of consumers who had purchased local MSME products within the past three months in Sukabumi and its surrounding areas. A total of 220 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS 24 software. The results show that brand image has a positive and significant effect on willingness to pay premium with a coefficient of 0.45 (p<0.01), and perceived quality has a positive and significant effect with a coefficient of 0.39 (p<0.01). Simultaneously, both variables explain 54.2% of the variance in willingness to pay premium. These findings confirm that strengthening brand image and improving consumer-perceived product quality are key strategies for MSME actors to increase the selling value and competitiveness of local products

Monica Patricia Br. Simanjuntak, Zaili Rusli
Abstract: This study discusses the implementation of Government Goods/Services Procurement Electronically (E-Procurement) from the perspective of Collaborative Governance in Pekanbaru City. The focus of this research is on the effetiveness… etiveness of e-catalogs, the involvement of local business actors, and cooperation between local government agencies. The aim of this research is to analyze and describe the e-procurement process within a collaborative framework and to identify the obstacles faced. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techinuques through interviews with the local UKPBJ of Pekanbaru City, the Departement of Trade and Industry of Pekanbaru City, the Inspectorate of Pekanbaru dan the Department of Cooperatives and MSMEs of Pekanbaru City. The result of this study indicate that collaboration among actors is on going but not yet optimal, especially in horizontal dimensions. The involvement of local business actors is still limited due to a lack of technical assistance and information. This research recommends strebgthening the role of local governments as facilitators of collaboration, enchancing the capatity of business actors, and fostering synergy between institutions to achieve participatory, transparent procurement using domestic products.

PEMASARAN INFLUENCER DAN IDENTITAS DIGITAL: EKSPLORASI ANTROPOLOGIS BUDAYA KONSUMEN ONLINE

Djufri, Djufri
Abstract: This study explores how influencer marketing shapes digital identity and spatial relations in Makassar, Indonesia, through a spatially grounded urban ethnography approach. This framework enables a deep reading of how urban… an residents engage with digital practices to navigate symbolic and spatial exclusion generated by influencer content. Through social media observation, narrative interviews, and the tracing of urban locations featured in visual representation, the study finds that influencer marketing does not merely sell products—it also reproduces social hierarchies through aesthetic spatiality and the logic of visibility. Yet, amid such exclusions, marginalized communities deploy diverse tactics of resistance, including visual reengineering, the use of alternative locations, and digital irony that disrupt dominant narratives. These findings suggest that digital identity is not passively consumed but actively negotiated through concrete and often unexpected spatial relations. Drawing on Lefebvre’s theory of the production of space, Urry’s concept of digital mobilities, and Gandy’s politics of infrastructure, the study shows how cities and digital spaces co-constitute a contested symbolic terrain. The article’s main contribution lies in advancing a Global South perspective, where digital technologies and aesthetics are practiced contextually and do not always conform to the logics of global capitalism. This research underscores that urban—and digital—space is not solely produced from above, but also from below, through the everyday agency of ordinary citizens.

VOLUME GAINS, MARGIN COSTS: PANEL EVIDENCE ON THE COMPOSITION EFFECTS OF A UNIFORM SALES INCENTIVE IN B2B LIGHTING DISTRIBUTION

Syarippudin, Syarippudin, Hasbi, Imanuddin, Hidayat, Agus Maolana
Abstract: Direct incentive programs from a brand manufacturer to a distributor's sales force are uncommon in the Indonesian B2B lighting sector, and their consequences for portfolio composition and distributor profitability have not… ot been empirically tested. This study examines whether a flat 3 percent quarterly bonus, applied uniformly across a portfolio of more than three hundred products spanning a 600-fold price range, produces unintended consequences beyond its stated goal of volume growth. A sequential explanatory mixed-methods design is used. The quantitative phase analyses 781 product-quarter observations covering 326 products over eleven quarters from mid-2023 through end-2025. The qualitative phase uses confirmatory interviews with seventeen informants from distributor management and sales teams. The incentive program successfully drives all four sales performance dimensions measured in the study, covering volume growth, revenue share, transaction frequency, and a cumulative growth index, all of which are statistically significant. However, higher-priced products attract significantly fewer transactions per quarter and grow more slowly over time. Seven of eight hypotheses are supported. Qualitative findings confirm that the incentive effect adds to total selling activity rather than redirecting it, but transaction attention consistently concentrates on lower-priced products across the eleven-quarter period. The study extends agency theory to a three-party setting and provides the first panel-level evidence of composition effects from a uniform sales incentive in Indonesian B2B distribution.

The program engaged 30 participants and applied a participatory educational approach consisting of counseling sessions, interactive discussions, lectures, and question-and-answer activities. Knowledge acquisition was evaluated through pre-test and post-test assessments. The findings demonstrated a marked improvement in participants’ understanding, with average scores increasing from 51.3% prior to the intervention to 94.0% afterward. The program not only strengthened participants’ awareness of halal-certified products but also encouraged more informed and responsible consumption practices. These results highlight the effectiveness of community-based halal literacy initiatives in fostering greater public understanding and supporting the development of a halal-conscious society.

FROM CREDIBILITY TO CONSUMPTION: A CROSS CONTEXTUAL REVIEW OF PARASOCIAL INTERACTION AND PURCHASE INTENTION IN INFLUENCER MARKETING

Desinta, Nia Widya
Abstract: The rapid advancement of digital technology has fundamentally reshaped consumer behavior globally, with social media becoming the primary channel for product information seeking. Approximately 51% of Indonesians rely on… user reviews before purchasing, and 62% have bought products under the direct influence of Social Media Influencers (SMIs). Despite this, the psychological mechanisms linking influencer characteristics to purchase intention remain fragmented across sectors and platforms. This systematic literature review synthesizes nineteen empirical studies published between 2020 and 2025, spanning beauty, fashion, gadget, and sustainable product sectors across multiple countries, to examine how Source Credibility (attractiveness, trustworthiness, expertise) and Parasocial Interaction (PSI) jointly shape consumer purchase intentions. Three core findings emerge: (1) trustworthiness is the sole credibility dimension that is universally and consistently significant across all contexts, fundamentally challenging assumptions about the equal contribution of the three credibility dimensions; (2) PSI operates not as a single mediator but as a multi-pathway psychological bridge through hedonic value, brand attitude, vicarious experience, and social-personal value whose specific active pathway is contingent on platform, product type, and cultural context; and (3) generational and cultural moderators systematically shape which credibility dimension most powerfully drives PSI. A Proposed Integrative Conceptual Framework and a synthetic cross-study comparison matrix (Table 2) consolidate these findings. Results offer strategic implications for influencer marketing practice and identify priority directions for future research.
