THE INFLUENCE OF BRAND IMAGE, PRICE, PROMOTION, AND DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS ON PURCHASE DECISIONS OF DOMESTICALLY PRODUCED INDUSTRIAL LED LIGHTING

Laksmi, Devi, Ahidin, Udin, Kasmad
Abstract: This study explores the role of brand image, price, promotion, and distribution channels in shaping consumer purchasing decisions for domestically produced industrial LED lighting products. A quantitative research approach… ch was employed using a survey method, with data analyzed through multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that the proposed model is statistically significant, demonstrating that all marketing mix elements jointly influence purchasing decisions. Each variable also shows a positive and significant individual effect, with distribution channels emerging as the most influential factor in driving consumer decisions. This suggests that ease of access, product availability, and effective distribution play a critical role in the adoption of industrial LED products. The novelty of this research lies in empirically integrating marketing mix factors within the context of domestically manufactured LED products, an area that has received limited scholarly attention. The study offers practical implications for manufacturers, emphasizing the importance of strengthening distribution strategies and aligning pricing and promotional efforts to enhance consumer purchasing decisions

Abstract: The increasing intensity of competition in the culinary business sector of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in snack food products such as JNC Cookies, necessitates the implementation of effective… ve digital promotion strategies to expand market reach and improve sales performance. Changes in consumer behavior that increasingly rely on digital platforms to obtain information, evaluate purchasing decisions, and interact with brands have made adaptation to digital marketing an unavoidable requirement. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the planning, implementation, and effectiveness of digital promotion strategies through the utilization of digital advertising (paid advertising), endorsements, and social media campaigns in enhancing brand awareness and consumers’ purchase intention toward JNC Cookies. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, observation of social media activities, and analysis of the performance of implemented digital marketing campaigns. In addition, several supporting indicators were measured, such as content reach, engagement rate, consumer interactions, and changes in sales volume during the campaign period. The collected data were subsequently analyzed to identify the relationship between digital promotional activities and consumer responses. The expected outcomes of this study include the formulation of an applicable digital promotion strategy model for food-sector MSMEs, recommendations for the development of sustainable social media campaigns, and the mapping of the roles of endorsements and digital advertising in strengthening the brand positioning of JNC Cookies. The findings of this study are expected to provide practical contributions for MSME practitioners in optimizing the use of digital media as an effective, measurable, and consumer-oriented promotional tool.

EVALUATION OF STUDENTS CONCEPTUAL UNDERSTANDING IN THE COURSE MULTIPLE VARIABLE CALCULUS

Ayu Yarmayani
Abstract: Calculus of Multiple Variables is a core course in the Mathematics Education study program and plays a crucial role in developing students advanced mathematical thinking skills. Success in this course relies heavily on mastery… astery of the prerequisite material, particularly the concepts of derivatives and integrals of functions of one variable. Therefore, understanding mathematical concepts is a fundamental aspect that determines students’ ability to understand the interrelationships between topics and solve problems systematically and logically. This study aims to describe students' conceptual understanding of multivariable calculus. The approach used is a descriptive approach with a purposive sampling technique, namely selecting research subjects based on certain criteria in the form of the highest and lowest levels of mathematical concept understanding. The results of the study indicate that students conceptual understanding varies across different materials. In the partial derivative material, students were not yet fully able to accurately represent the solution concept, especially in applying the rules for derivatives of exponential functions, so the results obtained did not conform to mathematical principles. These errors are conceptual in nature and indicate a weak grasp of certain basic concepts. However, in the material on derivatives of products of two functions and triple integrals, students demonstrated goog conceptual understanding. They were able to select, use, and apply solution procedures appropriately and systematically. This finding indicates that despite weaknesses in certain concepts, students still possess quite good procedural and conceptual abilities in the context of other problems in polynomial calculus.

Matrona Patricia Malindir, Arry Widodo, Mahir Pradana
Abstract: This study examines consumer behavior towards sustainable products, specifically investigating the influence of environmental attitudes and green product attributes on green purchase intention among Tanimbar Ikat Weaving… consumers in Tanimbar Islands Regency. Employing a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) analysis through SmartPLS software, data were collected from 385 respondents selected via purposive sampling based on consumers who knew and had purchased Tanimbar woven products. The research tested direct relationships and moderating effects of premium price, education, and gender variables. Results revealed that environmental attitudes (β = 0.349; t = 5.306; p = 0.000) and green product attributes (β = 0.207; t = 3.014; p = 0.003) significantly and positively influence green purchase intention, with the model explaining 60.7% of the variance (R² = 0.607) and demonstrating strong predictive relevance (Q² = 0.539). However, the three moderating variables—premium price, education, and gender—did not significantly strengthen or weaken these relationships, indicating that environmental consciousness and product perception remain dominant factors regardless of demographic or economic considerations. These findings provide practical implications for traditional craft entrepreneurs in developing sustainability-based marketing strategies and empowering the local creative economy, while contributing to the sustainable development goals through cultural preservation and environmental conservation in Indonesia's eastern region.
