Abstract:Green betel leaves contain compounds that can treat vaginal discharge, especially those caused by bacteria. To determine the effect of green betel leaf extract on the growth of Bacteroides in vaginal secretion cultures,…
this study used a quantitative experimental method, where vaginal secretion samples were taken from the subjects and then tested quantitatively. There were two data collection techniques used in this study: using a questionnaire and testing vaginal secretion samples with green betel leaf extract. The test for using was diffusion (paper disc) for the antibacterial test. The media used was MHA. The positive control used was a blank disc, the extract concentration series used were 20%, 25% and 30%. The diameter of the inhibition zone was observed and then analyzed. The results of the t-test analysis showed that the significance value was 0.00 <0.05, so H0 was rejected Ha was accepted or it could be concluded that there was a difference in the effect of giving green betel leaf extract on the growth of Bacteroides in vaginal secretion culture. Antibacterial activity test of green betel leaves (Piper betle L) against Bacteroides bacteria that cause Bacterial Vaginosis, namely resistant at a concentration of 20%, intermediate at a concentration of 25% and sensitive at a concentration of 30%. Green betel leaf extract (Piper betle L) has inhibitory power against Bacteroides bacteria that cause Bacterial Vaginosis. Can increase the concentration series of methanol extract of green betel leaves, find the minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) and the maximum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of green betel leaf extract against Bacteroides bacteria that cause Bacterial Vaginosis
Abstract:This community service program aimed to enhance the English language skills of elementary school students on Tegal Island, Lampung Province, through the implementation of a Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach.…
. Limited English proficiency among local children has long hindered effective communication with foreign visitors and restricted opportunities for community-based tourism development. To address this challenge, the program incorporated basic English vocabulary related to the beach environment into interactive activities, such as songs, games, visual aids, and direct exploration of local surroundings. These methods were designed to provide authentic, engaging, and memorable language learning experiences tailored to the learners’ environment. A pre-test and post-test design was employed to evaluate the program’s effectiveness. The results demonstrated a substantial improvement in students’ vocabulary mastery, with mean scores rising from 61.36 on the pre-test to 89.73 on the post-test. Statistical analysis using a paired sample t-test revealed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), confirming that CTL significantly enhanced vocabulary acquisition. The normalized gain (N-Gain) indicated a high level of progress among participants, showing consistent improvement across all learners. Beyond cognitive gains, qualitative observations indicated that students exhibited greater confidence, motivation, and environmental awareness as they linked English lessons to familiar contexts. This program illustrates that CTL offers a practical, low-cost, and highly effective strategy for empowering youth in remote island communities. By contextualizing English instruction in real-life settings, CTL not only fosters academic achievement but also supports community engagement, cultural pride, and sustainable human resource development in rural tourism areas.
Abstract:This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and work environment on employee performance at PT. Tunas Dwipa Matra Palopo branch. The research method used is quantitative with data collection techniques through…
h questionnaires. The research sample consisted of 40 employees. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression with SPSS 25. The results showed that simultaneously compensation and work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. Partially, the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance (sig = 0.001), while compensation has no significant effect (sig = 0.474). The R Square value of 0.745 indicates that 74.5% of employee performance variability can be explained by compensation and work environment.
Abstract:This study examines the impact of four key marketing variables product quality, price, persuasive communication, and incentives on brand image and purchasing decisions among medical practitioners in Cilegon, Indonesia. Drawing…
rawing on a sample of 225 physicians, dentists, and pharmacists, data were collected via an online Likert‐scale questionnaire and analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling (SEM). Results indicate that product quality and incentives exert statistically significant positive effects on brand image (β = 0.284, p = 0.011; β = 0.291, p = 0.003, respectively), while price and persuasive communication do not achieve significance. Furthermore, incentives also demonstrate a significant positive influence on purchase decisions (β = 0.206, p = 0.047), whereas other independent variables, including brand image, fail to show a direct effect. Model fit indices (CMIN/DF = 1.122; GFI = 0.90; RMSEA = 0.016; p = 0.061) confirm an overall good fit. These findings underscore the critical role of maintaining high product standards and ethical incentive programs in strengthening brand perception and stimulating purchase behavior in a competitive pharmaceutical landscape. Theoretical contributions include the integration of marketing, consumer behavior, and brand management theories within a single SEM framework. Practically, pharmaceutical firms operating in emerging markets should prioritize consistent quality assurance and transparent incentive mechanisms to enhance both brand equity and sales performance.
Abstract:The most significant and valuable asset for society as a whole is health, and in order to recognize this state, proper dietary intake is required. Nutrition is a food ingredient that can improve a person's health when consumed.…
nsumed. Thus, nutrition and health are closely linked. Early childhood nutrition preparation is a crucial issue that parents should focus on. because a child's early dietary intake will have an impact on their adult growth and development. Children's health and intelligence are directly linked to their nutrition, which cannot be separated. Additionally, children's growth and development will be supported by the nutrition they receive. This study aims to raise parents' and educators' understanding of the significance of a child's appropriate nutritional intake. A literature review of the findings and a discussion of research relevant to the program to be implemented constituting the research methodology. It is anticipated that this research will help parents and teachers at home by raising awareness of the need to monitor children's nutritional intake and sufficiency, which is also one of the key elements promoting growth and development.

uasi-experimental method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used was non-random purposive sampling, with two classes selected as samples, each consisting of 32 students. The data collection technique used in this study was an oral test instrument, designed using a non-equivalent control group design. The results showed that the average score of the experimental class was 45.31 in the pre-test and 67.81 in the post-test. Meanwhile, the control class scored an average of 44.84 in the pre-test and 46.56 in the post-test. The data were tested for normality and found to be normally distributed. The homogeneity test results showed a significance value of 0.308 > 0.05, indicating that the data are homogeneous or have the same variance. The findings revealed that the use of hand puppet media had a significant effect on students' speaking skills. The hypothesis testing using a Paired Sample T-Test showed a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the result is statistically significant. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H₁) is accepted, meaning there is a significant difference in students’ speaking skills before and after being taught using hand puppet media.
Abstract:The introduction of the omnibus methodology to Indonesian lawmaking through the Job Creation Law has generated intense scholarly debate over the balance between regulatory efficiency and democratic legitimacy. Drawing on…
Nonet and Selznick’s responsive law theory, this study examines the legal politics underpinning the formation of Law No. 11 of 2020, PERPPU No. 2 of 2022, and Law No. 6 of 2023 within Indonesia’s civil‐law framework. Using normative legal research methods including statutory interpretation, constitutional doctrinal analysis, and comparative legal study this article traces the procedural trajectory from initial draft to successive judicial reviews (Decision Nos. 91/PUU-XVIII/2020 and 168/PUU-XXI/2023). The findings reveal systemic procedural deficiencies: exclusion of affected stakeholders, lack of meaningful public participation, and executive reliance on emergency powers instead of mandated legislative revision. The Constitutional Court’s interventions have served as corrective “strange attractors,” introducing “meaningful participation” requirements (right to be heard, right to be considered, and right to explanation) and compelling the government to adopt legislative reforms. However, persistent executive resistance underscores enduring tensions between efficiency‐oriented omnibus reforms and procedural legitimacy. The study concludes that forthcoming legislative efforts particularly the mandated separate Employment Law will determine whether Indonesia’s legal system advances toward genuinely responsive law or reverts to repressive practices. These insights hold broader significance for comparative constitutionalism and the global discourse on omnibus legislation in developing democracies.
Abstract:Social media activities carried out by coffee brands are often used, especially to create loyalty among consumers, but challenges and effectiveness need to be considered to maximize the company's potential. This study aims…
ms to determine the brand experience created through social media marketing activities to build brand loyalty. This study will examine social media marketing on the Kopi Kenangan account, sensory brand experience, affective brand experience, behavioral brand experience, intellectual brand experience, value consciousness, brand consciousness, continued usage intention, and brand loyalty, based on the journal by Kumar & Hsieh (2024) titled “How do social media marketing activities affect brand loyalty?” The mediating role of brand experience and Ismail (2017) with the title “The influence of perceived social media marketing activities on brand loyalty: The mediation effect of brand and value consciousness.” The research method used is quantitative, conducting a survey using Google Forms with a sample size of 400 respondents, consisting of Kopi Kenangan consumers who consistently purchase Kopi Kenangan products and recommend Kopi Kenangan products. Descriptive analysis was then conducted based on structural equation modeling and partial least squares data using SmartPLS. The results showed that social media activities influence Kopi Kenangan brand loyalty through brand experience. The results were statistically analyzed using a significance level of 0.05. The researcher found that the calculated t-value was greater than the table t-value (7.577 > 1.65). In other words, social media activities influence brand loyalty. Kopi Kenangan can maximize strategies to enhance brand loyalty through social media activities, which can also serve as a reference for future strategic development.
