PETROLOGICAL AND PETROGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS OF BUTON ROCK ASPHALT (ASBUTON) TRAP ROCK IN THE WINNING AREA OF BUTON REGENCY

Isman Saleh
Abstract: This study aims to identify the petrological and petrographical characteristics of carbonate rocks that act as natural asphalt (Asbuton) reservoir rocks in the Winning area, Buton Regency. The analysis was conducted through… ugh megascopic observation of rock outcrops and microscopic observation of thin sections using a polarizing microscope. The results show that the carbonate rock units in the study area are dominated by bioclastic limestone (biomicrite) and dolomitic limestone (biogenic dolomite). The bioclastic limestone consists of foraminiferal and shell fragments bound by micrite and sparry calcite cement, whereas the dolomitic limestone displays fine- to medium-crystalline textures with well-developed intercrystalline porosity formed through dolomitization. Partial to advanced dolomitization occurred due to the circulation of magnesium-rich fluids in a restricted marine environment during the post-depositional stage. The mineralogical transformation from calcite to dolomite enhanced both porosity and compactness, making these rocks potential reservoir rocks for natural asphalt accumulation. Overall, the petrological and petrographical characteristics indicate that the carbonate rocks in the Winning area underwent a complex diagenetic evolution and play a significant role in the formation and entrapment system of Buton Rock Asphalt (Asbuton).

Mabel , Piter, Halitopo, Manase, Yikwa, Pemius
Abstract: The objective of this research was to find out if using the poster may improve the students' English vocabulary at SMA YPPK St. Thomas Wamena. With a one-group pre- and post-test, this study used an experimental design.… The research instrument utilized the matching method, in which students were required to match pictures with the corresponding vocabulary items. The study was conducted at SMA YPPK St. Thomas Wamena, selecting the seventh-grade students as the population for the 2025/2026 academic year. The researcher applied a cluster sampling technique and selected 30 students as the research sample. Pre- and post-tests were given in order to gather data. Before and after the treatment, students' initial vocabulary mastery was measured with a pre-test, and their performance was evaluated with a post-test. The independent variable in this study was the use of posters, whereas the dependent variable was students’ vocabulary achievement. The findings of the data analysis of the students' vocabulary knowledge in the pre- and post-tests revealed that the t-test value was 17.40 and the t-table value was 2.045. Students' vocabulary competence improved significantly, as evidenced by the t-test value being greater than the t-table value (17.40 > 2.045). This result implies that the pre- and post-test results varied significantly.

In addition, student participation is low and passive. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the application of the Brain Based Learning (BBL) learning model on the results of science learning of class V students of SD Neri 105288 Sei Rotan. The type of research used is quantitative research with a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were class V students of SD Negeri 105288 Sei Rotan with a sample of class VA totaling 24 people as the experimental class and VB totaling 24 people as the control class. Based on the results of the study, the average pretest score of students was 52.33 in the experimental class before being given treatment. After treatment using the BBL learning model, the results of the posttest score of students were 71.25. Furthermore, a t-test was conducted which showed the results of the Sig. value. (2 tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. These results indicate that there is a significant influence of the application of the Brain Based Learning (BBL) learning model on the science learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Negeri 105288 Sei Rotan.

Abstract: Stroke is a condition in which brain function is rapidly disrupted and lasts for more than 24 hours due to an interruption of blood flow to the brain. Globally, the incidence and morbidity rates of stroke continue to increase.… rease. The quality of life of acute and chronic stroke patients is influenced by post-stroke depression. Community resources (CR) and spiritual religious coping (SRC) factors are also related to the coping adaptation strategies of family caregivers for members who have experienced a stroke. Patients who experience post-stroke depression show a lower quality of life one year after stroke compared to those who do not experience it. This study is a quantitative research with an observational study design. The study was conducted from January to March 2024 in Kotamobagu City. The total population of stroke patients distributed across seven community health centers in Tomohon City is 200 patients. The sample was taken using total sampling method consisting of 200 family caregivers. The results were then analyzed using the Chi Square test with SPSS. All variables were significantly related to the coping adaptation strategies of family caregivers for members who had a stroke. Community resources (CR) were significantly related to caregiver coping strategies (p = 0.025), and spiritual religious coping (SRC) was also significantly related to coping strategies (p = 0.032). Community resources and spiritual religious coping among family caregivers of post-stroke patients are needed to increase motivation and reduce caregiver stress..
