soil fertility. Soil fertility is essential as a substrate for plant growth to support reforestation or reclamation initiatives. After the planting medium is properly prepared, it can be inhabited with plant species appropriate for the site's conditions. This study's methodology involves assessing land conditions through the analysis of soil characteristics and the measurement of soil pH in the designated area. The study's results indicated that the soil texture in the research region is classified as sandy loam and loamy sand, with an average pH of 4.5. To enhance soil conditions, 100 grams of lime is necessary for each planting hole, totaling 625 trees. Therefore, 62.5 kg of dolomite lime per hectare is required for soil rehabilitation in the post-mining region.

There are three variables that have a positive and significant influence on the choice of tourists to NTT, namely the ENT variable, TJJ and the PW variable; while the other three variables have no significant influence, namely, TJD , HOS and IP . For domestic tourists, Simultaneously, the five independent variables contribute 87.3% of the influence on the decision of domestic tourists to visit the Province of East Nusa Tenggara. Through symbols of time and various allusions, this short story highlights social inequality, the impact of war, and increasingly severe environmental exploitation. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with literary mimetic theory, to reveal how Danarto conveys social criticism in a subtle but sharp manner through characters trapped in difficult situations. The research results show that this short story invites readers to be more critical of existing social and cultural conditions, as well as providing reflections on the impact of social problems on human life. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the understanding of Indonesian literature and provide an appreciation for literary works that raise social issues.

, salinity, and pH, were monitored, along with the growth performance of sea cucumbers in terms of body weight and length during the cultivation period. The results showed water temperatures ranging from 28–31°C, pH values between 8.3–8.7, and an average salinity of 20.5 ppt. Although the salinity was slightly below the optimal range (28–32 ppt), the sea cucumbers demonstrated positive growth. Final measurements indicated an increase in body weight from 10–20 grams to an average of 0.29 kg, and in body length up to 16.7 cm over approximately three months of cultivation. These findings suggest that the coastal waters of Sungai Bakau have potential for sea cucumber aquaculture development, with some adjustments needed to optimize salinity conditions.

o its vulnerability to wave-induced beach damage. To simulate wave conditions, a wave generator was designed using a 12-volt DC motor integrated into an acrylic wave bath. This research analyses the effectiveness of three types of coastal safety structures: reflectors, sea walls and sloping sea walls. Laboratory experiments measured the wave overflow volume for each type of structure under controlled conditions. The results showed that reflector-type structures achieved the highest efficiency in mitigating wave overtopping, with an average minimum overtopping value of 0.006 m³/ms. The findings emphasise the importance of selecting and designing appropriate coastal protection measures to minimise coastal erosion, protect coastal infrastructure and reduce risks to surrounding settlements. This study contributes valuable insights into the role of engineered structures in enhancing coastal resilience, especially for areas vulnerable to high wave energy.
