0% mocaf, and the addition of carrageenan, CMC, and STPP at concentrations of 0.25%, 0.5%, and 1% with 9 treatments. The parameters analyzed included yield, water content, protein, fiber, organoleptic and production cost. The results showed that the yield ranged from 82.15–96.39% and was significantly different between treatments. Water content was 65.01–70.60%, while the highest protein and fiber content was obtained with the addition of 0.25% carrageenan, respectively 10.53% and 7.97%, respectively. The type and concentration of food additives significantly affected the yield, water content, protein, fiber and texture but did not significantly affect the color and taste of palm mushroom and mocaf flour meatballs.

s through complementary therapy using natural ingredients such as tomato juice and dragon fruit juice, which contain various active compounds such as lycopene, fiber, vitamin C, and antioxidants.Objective: To determine the effect of tomato juice and dragon fruit juice on 2-hour post prandial blood glucose levels in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients. Methods: This research is a case study with two subjects who met the inclusion criteria. The intervention was administered for 7 days, during which subjects consumed tomato juice and dragon fruit juice. Blood glucose levels were measured before and after the intervention using an Easy Touch device. Results: The study showed a decrease in blood glucose levels after administration of both juices. This indicates that the combination of tomato juice and dragon fruit juice can significantly lower blood glucose levels. Conclusion: Administering tomato juice and dragon fruit juice can be an effective complementary therapy in lowering blood glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

This study uses multiple linear regression analysis to determine what factors influence the development strategy of cassava leaf animal feed and descriptive analysis to analyze the development strategy for the potential and opportunities of using cassava leaves as animal feed. This research method uses qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that cassava leaves have a high crude protein content, which is around 20-30%, and contain crude fiber, fat, and minerals that are beneficial for livestock growth. Multiple linear regression analysis in this study shows that all independent variables have a significant effect on the dependent variable. Among these factors, the economic aspect makes the largest contribution, making it the main factor influencing the dependent variable. Furthermore, social aspects and external support also play a significant role in determining the results. In addition, other factors such as technology, resources, and marketing and distribution also have a significant impact, although with a smaller influence compared to economic and social aspects. Thus, the regression model shows a positive relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable, so that improvements in these aspects will increase the dependent variable, with the main priority on economic and social aspects.

Irregular eating patterns, lack of fiber and mineral water intake, and consumption of high-calorie instant foods or drinks, without realizing it, make the kidneys work harder. Starting from the process of filtration, reabsorption, to augmentation of food substances below the kidneys through the blood. The aim of this research is to create an expert system for kidney disease using a web-based programming language that is capable of providing services to the public and conveying information related to kidney disease. Pre-research and research was carried out at the Abdul Manan Simatupang Kisaran Regional General Hospital starting from November to December 2023. In this research data collection was carried out using observation, interviews and literature study methods. The results of this research show that having an expert system for diagnosing kidney disease in humans can provide significant benefits, including the data processing and consultation process being carried out quickly and producing fairly accurate reports, thus making work more effective and efficient.

Abstrak: Pemilihan masalah menyangkut jenis penyakit Ginjal sebagai sampel penelitian ini, adalah kenyataan bahwa penyakitpenyakit Ginjal merupakan organ penting dalam sistem metabolisme tubuh kita, karena padatnya aktivitas, kita sering lupa untuk menjaganya. Pola makan yang tidak teratur, kurangnya asupan serat dan air mineral, serta konsumsi makanan atau minuman instan berkalori tinggi, tanpa sadar telah memperberat kerja ginjal. Mulai dari proses filtrasi, reabsorpasi, sampai augmentasi dari zat-zat makanan yang di bawah ke ginjal melalui darah. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah Membuat suatu sistem pakar untuk penyakit Ginjal menggunakan bahasa pemrograman berbasis web yang mampu memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat dan penyampaian informasi yang berkaitan dengan penyakit Ginjal. Pra penelitian dan penelitian dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Abdul Manan Simatupang Kisaran yang dimulai pada bulan Bulan November sampai dengan Desember 2023. Pada penelitian ini pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan adanya sistem pakar diagnosa penyakit ginjal pada manusia, dapat memberikan manfaat yang cukup berarti antara lain proses pengolahan datanya dan proses konsultasi dilakukan dengan cepat serta menghasilkan laporan yang cukup akurat, sehingga membuat pekerjaan akan lebih efektif dan efisien.

to improve their technical understanding regarding fiber optic network management. The main problem faced is the limited knowledge of students regarding optical access network architecture, OLT-ONU communication mechanisms, and service and bandwidth management. The methods used include observation, interviews, direct practice, and question and answer sessions. The practical activities focused on introducing OLT device architecture, basic GPON concepts, logical port configuration, service VLAN management, and network performance monitoring. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' technical understanding of fiber optic network operation and management. This activity supports the improvement of student competencies according to the needs of the telecommunications industry.

Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan pengetahuan siswa mengenai arsitektur jaringan akses optik, mekanisme komunikasi OLT–ONU, serta pengelolaan layanan dan bandwidth. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, praktik langsung, dan sesi tanya jawab. Kegiatan praktik difokuskan pada pengenalan arsitektur perangkat OLT, konsep dasar GPON, konfigurasi logis port, pengelolaan VLAN layanan, serta monitoring kinerja jaringan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman teknis siswa terhadap pengoperasian dan manajemen jaringan serat optik. Kegiatan ini mendukung peningkatan kompetensi siswa sesuai kebutuhan industri telekomunikasi.

This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of the students through training in processing coconut fiber waste into cocopeat using a chopping machine. This cocopeat product can be used as an organic planting medium. This training was held at the Al Mimbar boarding school in Jombang, East Java, which can create an alternative source of income for the boarding school and foster environmental awareness among students. The methods used in this training include socialization and hands-on practice in making cocopeat. The results of this activity show that the students are increasingly aware of the environment, are able to process coconut fiber waste into quality cocopeat, and understand the economic value of the product as well as the market potential that can be utilized by the pesantren to get additional sources of funding from the sales of cocopeat. Thus, this program can be the first step for pesantren in developing sustainable environment-based businesses, as well as making a positive contribution to improving the local economy.

Abstrak: Serabut kelapa atau sabut kelapa adalah bagian luar dari buah kelapa yang sering dianggap sebagai limbah setelah diambil daging dan airnya. Tanpa pengolahan yang tepat, serabut kelapa dibuang akan menumpuk di lingkungan sekitar sehingga menciptakan sejumlah masalah lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan para santri melalui pelatihan pengolahan limbah serabut kelapa menjadi cocopeat dengan menggunakan mesin pencacah. Produk cocopeat ini dapat digunakan sebagai media tanam organik. Pelatihan ini diselenggarakan di pondok pesantren Al Mimbar Jombang Jawa Timur yang dapat menciptakan sumber pendapatan alternatif bagi pesantren dan menumbuhkan kesadaran lingkungan di kalangan santri. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan ini meliputi sosialisasi dan praktek langsung pembuatan cocopeat. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa para santri semakin sadar akan lingkungan, mampu mengolah limbah serabut kelapa menjadi cocopeat berkualitas, dan memahami nilai ekonomis dari produk tersebut serta potensi pasar yang dapat dimanfaatkan pesantren mendapatkan tambahan sumber pendanaan dari pendapat penjualan cocopeat. Dengan demikian, program ini dapat menjadi langkah awal bagi pesantren dalam mengembangkan usaha berbasis lingkungan yang berkelanjutan, serta memberikan kontribusi positif bagi peningkatan perekonomian lokal.

The method is carried out in counseling. Starting with filling out the attendance list, filling out the pre-test, then being given nutritional education interventions about fiber using PowerPoint media, a 15-minute question and answer session, and closing with a post-test. Monitoring and evaluation are carried out 1 week after online counseling via Whatsapp call. It is hoped that students will keep in mind the material that has been delivered and apply it in their daily lives. The results of the assessment of knowledge about fiber-source foods in adolescents before being given counseling were 25% (good category), 65.6% (sufficient category), and 9.4% (less category). Meanwhile, the percentage of knowledge about fiber-source foods after counseling was 65.6% (good category), 31.3% (sufficient category), and 3.1% (less category). The results showed a change in knowledge in respondents before and after being given counseling about fiber source foods. The level of knowledge in adolescents influences the behavior and attitudes of adolescents in choosing the type of food to be consumed.

Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan guna meningkatkan kesadaran remaja untuk mengonsumsi makanan sumber serat. Kegiatan tersebut meliputi: pengertian serat, manfaat serat untuk tubuh, jenis makanan sumber serat, kelompok makanan sumber serat (serat larut dalam air dan tidak larut dalam air), penyebab jika jarang konsumsi makanan sumber serat dan anjuran konsumsi makanan sumber serat dalam sehari. Metode yang dilakukan yaitu penyuluhan. Diawali dengan pengisian daftar hadir, mengisi pre-test, kemudian diberikan intervensi edukasi gizi mengenai serat menggunakan media power point, sesi tanya jawab selama 15 menit dan ditutup dengan post-test. Monitoring dan evaluasi dilaksanakan 1 minggu setelah penyuluhan secara online melalui Whatsapp call. Diharapkan siswa/i tetap mengingat materi yang telah disampaikan dan menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil penilaian pengetahuan tentang makanan sumber serat pada remaja sebelum diberikan penyuluhan yaitu sebesar 25% (kategori baik), 65.6% (kategori cukup) dan 9.4% (kategori kurang). Sedangkan persentase pengetahuan tentang makanan sumber serat setelah diberikan penyuluhan yaitu sebesar 65.6% (kategori baik), 31.3% (kategori cukup) dan 3.1% (kategori kurang). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perubahan pengetahuan pada responden sebelum dan setelah diberikan penyuluhan tentang makanan sumber serat. Tingkat pengetahuan pada remaja memiliki pengaruh terhadap perilaku dan sikap remaja dalam memilih jenis makanan yang akan dikonsumsi.

However, selecting the right fruits is vital because some fruits can cause digestive issues or allergies in toddlers. To assist parents in choosing the right fruits, a mobile-based expert system using the Certainty Factor method has been developed. This system provides recommendations based on the toddler's health condition and evaluates the nutritional content of fruits. With this system, parents can ensure that their toddlers receive optimal nutrition, contributing to stunting prevention and ensuring that the toddlers grow up healthy, intelligent, and with full potential in the future Choosing the right fruits and maintaining a balanced nutrition are crucial parts of supporting the sustainability of stunting prevention efforts.

Abstrak: Pencegahan stunting pada batita sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan dan pertumbuhan anak. Stunting terjadi akibat kekurangan gizi kronis pada 1.000 hari pertama kehidupan batita, memengaruhi tinggi badan, perkembangan kognitif, dan sistem imun anak, yang berisiko mengurangi potensi masa depan mereka. Buah-buahan memiliki peran penting dalam pola makan batita, karena kaya akan vitamin, mineral, serat, antioksidan, dan senyawa bioaktif yang mendukung pertumbuhan fisik dan perkembangan otak. Namun, pemilihan buah yang tepat sangat penting karena beberapa buah dapat menyebabkan masalah pencernaan atau alergi pada batita. Untuk membantu orang tua dalam memilih buah yang sesuai, dikembangkan sistem pakar berbasis mobile dengan metode Certainty Factor. Sistem ini memberikan rekomendasi berdasarkan kondisi kesehatan batita, serta mengevaluasi kandungan nutrisinya. Dengan sistem ini, orang tua dapat memastikan bahwa batita mendapatkan nutrisi yang optimal dengan berkontribusi dalam pencegahan stunting dengan memastikan batita tumbuh sehat, cerdas, dan memiliki potensi penuh di masa depan. Pemilihan buah yang tepat dan nutrisi yang seimbang menjadi bagian penting dalam mendukung upaya keberlanjutan pencegahan stunting.

Abstrak : implementasinya fiber optic merupakan kabel yang memiliki bahan serat yang menggunakan cahaya sebagai media transmisi dalam mengikirimkan data sehingga kecepatan dalam pengelolaan data menjadi lebih cepat, terdapat kemudahan perawatan tools. Penanganan terhadap gangguan fiber optic ini perusahaan memiliki data yang kompleks dalam suatu bigdata dimana dalam pengelolaannya dibutuhkan suatu pengolahan yang baik agar tidak terjadi redudansi data, akan tetapi ketepatan dan kecepatan dalam pengelolaan data menjadi hal yang sangat penting dalam pengelolaan big data. Peningkatan kualitas bagi perusahaan menjadi hal yang paling penting, bahkan untuk mencapai kualitas yang baik perusahaan akan melakukan hal yang dapat menunjang kepada kualitas tersebut, dengan kualitas perusahaan dapat memiliki sustainable yang lama maka dilakukan pendekatan six sigma sehingga dapat mengdukung perbaikan kualitas yang dapat dilakukan oleh perusahaan.
