THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CHARACTER EDUCATION IN THE BOOK OF AKHLĀQ LIL BANĪN IN ARABIC LANGUAGE LEARNING ACTIVITIES AT THE MBS AL MUJAHIDIN ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL, GUNUNGKIDUL, YOGYAKARTA

Hidayat, Muhammad Abdullah, Suyadi, Suyadi
Abstract: This study is motivated by a fundamental problem concerning how the character-education values contained in the book of Akhlāq Lil Banīn can be implemented consistently and meaningfully within Arabic language learning, amid… amid an intense schedule, a diversity of methods, and the gap between the readiness of learners and educators in the boarding environment. This study aims to analyze and describe the implementation of character-education values from the book of Akhlāq Lil Banīn in Arabic language learning activities at the MBS Al Mujahidin Islamic Boarding School, Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. The method used is qualitative, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation; informants were selected by purposive sampling, and data analysis comprised data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that the implementation of character values takes place integratively, intensively, and contextually through a combination of formal school activities and non-formal dormitory activities such as mufrodat, hiwar, muhadhoroh, qirā’ah, muḥādatsah, and integrated Arabic learning. These activities not only develop linguistic competence but also serve as a medium for internalizing religious, disciplinary, responsibility, and social-care values through habituation and role modeling. Challenges were also found in the form of differing prior abilities among learners, a dense activity schedule, and the dynamic assignment of educators, all of which affect the absorption and internalization of values. It is concluded that the success of Akhlāq Lil Banīn-based character education depends heavily on pedagogical adaptation, differentiated learning, and management of the activity rhythm.

Diana, Elpa, Novri Susanti Suparman, Fitri Wahidah, Dewi, Nofrianti
Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of implementing the Sam'iyah Syafawiyah method based on a communicative approach on students' self-confidence in speaking Arabic through a library research approach. The study employs… s a qualitative method with a systematic literature review, analyzing and synthesizing scientific sources including books, international and national journals, articles, proceedings, and relevant research findings. Data sources were obtained from scientific databases such as Google Scholar, JSTOR, ScienceDirect, ERIC, and national digital repositories. The findings consistently demonstrate that the Sam'iyah Syafawiyah method integrated with the communicative approach has a positive and significant influence on students' self-confidence in speaking Arabic. This effect operates through four main mechanisms: (1) repetitive drilling builds mastery experience; (2) native speaker audio models provide vicarious experience; (3) the communicative approach reduces affective filters; and (4) intensive practice promotes automaticity in Arabic speech production. This study concludes that the integration of both methods constitutes an effective and recommended pedagogical strategy for improving self-confidence in Arabic speaking.

Jalal, Novita Maulidya
Abstract: This study aims to examine the academic resilience of Islamic boarding school students through a library research approach by reviewing national and international literature related to personal, social, spiritual, and pedagogical… dagogical factors that shape students’ academic endurance. Findings indicate that academic resilience among santri develops through the interaction of self-efficacy, intrinsic motivation, self-regulation skills, and social support from peers, teachers, and dormitory caregivers. The disciplined, communal, and religious environment of pesantren strengthens adaptive coping mechanisms, particularly in managing academic pressure, demanding study schedules, and religious obligations. International literature highlights that interpersonal support and religious culture enhance students’ psychological resilience and academic engagement. Moreover, spiritual routines such as prayer and scriptural study function as emotional regulation tools that promote mental stability. The review also reveals that pesantren’s intensive instructional methods foster long-term academic perseverance, although they may increase stress when not accompanied by adequate social support. Overall, this study underscores that academic resilience among santri is a product of the holistic ecology of Islamic boarding school education. Therefore, strengthening resilience requires integrated strategies that simultaneously develop psychological, social, and spiritual capacities. Keywords : Academic Resilience, Islamic Boarding School,Students

TANTANGAN MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN TEKNIK MESIN DALAM MENJAGA KONSISTENSI DISIPLIN KEISLAMAN DAN PENDIDIKAN

Farrij Rizqi Fadhillah, Muhammad Wildan Firdaus, Raihan Musthofa Zahrani, Jenuri
Abstract: Mechanical Engineering Education (PTM) demands logical precision and mastery of high technology, creating an intensive academic burden for students. This condition often leads to an invisible dichotomy between "campus obligations"… ligations" and "religious obligations," where Muslim PTM students struggle to maintain consistency in Islamic discipline, such as five-times prayer and moral development. This research aims to explore the challenges faced by Mechanical Engineering Education (PTM) students in maintaining Islamic discipline amid high academic demands. The method used is a Literature Review with a critical approach, which collects and analyzes various literature to identify gaps in knowledge. The main findings reveal that the primary challenges include the decline of ethical values such as honesty due to the impact of social changes and technological advancements, the risk of weakened character caused by the influence of global secular culture, and the heavy curriculum burden that leads to mental and physical exhaustion as well as conflicts between academic schedules and religious obligations. Furthermore, students' excessive focus on achieving high GPA and technical skills often neglects moral development, compounded by the lack of integration of the ta’dib concept and insufficient support from social environments that can enforce discipline. Therefore, a holistic and integrated solution is necessary to make Islamic ethics the foundation of academic and professional behavior, balancing technical expertise and spiritual aspects so that PTM students can become competent individuals with strong Islamic character.

Abstract: The complexity of modern healthcare services has led nursing personnel to face high workloads, intensive emotional demands, and dynamic, high-risk working environments. These conditions make nursing resilience an essential… al psychological factor in maintaining the effectiveness and efficiency of nursing performance. This study aimed to analyze the determinant factors influencing nursing resilience and its impact on nursing work efficiency at King Fahad Specialist Hospital in 2026. This study employed a quantitative cross-sectional design using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach. The study population consisted of all active nurses at the Qassim Health Cluster, totaling 4,425 nurses. A total of 356 respondents were selected using stratified random sampling. Data were collected using the Nursing Resilience Scale, Nursing Work Efficiency Scale, Utrecht Work Engagement Scale, and Perceived Organizational Support Scale, all of which had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using SmartPLS 4. The results showed that organizational support (β = 0.431; p < 0.001), work engagement (β = 0.388; p < 0.001), psychological well-being (β = 0.362; p < 0.001), and a supportive work environment (β = 0.295; p < 0.001) had significant positive effects on nursing resilience. Conversely, high workload negatively affected nursing resilience (β = -0.276; p < 0.001). Nursing resilience was also found to have a significant positive effect on nursing work efficiency (β = 0.614; p < 0.001). The R-square value of 0.71 indicated that the research model explained 71% of the variance in nursing work efficiency. Nursing resilience is a strategic psychological resource influenced by organizational, psychological, and work environment factors in improving nursing work efficiency. This study is expected to provide theoretical contributions to the development of nursing management and healthcare organizational behavior literature, as well as practical contributions for hospitals in designing strategies to strengthen healthcare workers’ psychological resilience based on human-centered healthcare management.
