Abstract:Muaro Sentajo possesses the potential to be developed as a production hub for native orchid species due to its location within the natural habitat of orchid species in Kuantan Singingi Regency, directly bordering the Sentajo…
tajo Raya protected forest. Furthermore, the village has an underutilized female labor potential, organized within the Family Welfare Movement (Pemberdayaan dan Kesejahteraan Keluarga / PKK) as the foundational collective for rural women in Muaro Sentajo. This initiative aims to provide knowledge on native orchid species, cultivation techniques, integrated systems with stingless bees (kelulut), and digital marketing. The program implemented a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, consisting of asset mapping, practical cultivation workshops, e-commerce platform development, and four months of intensive mentoring. This empowerment program successfully established an active orchid breeding group managing more than 15 native orchid species. Additionally, 83.66% of the participants demonstrated proficiency in operating digital marketing channels (Instagram and Shopee), resulting in the first independent commercial sales of local orchid products. The integration of local ecological assets with modern digital marketing proved effective in enhancing the economic independence of rural women and promoting sustainable community development.
Abstract:This study discusses the optimization of a company's financial performance through working capital management and capital structure policies. To increase profitability (ROA), companies require efficient cash conversion cycle…
ycle management and optimal funding supported by internal company characteristics. The research problem proposed is to determine how to achieve increased profitability in an automotive distributor company through the efficiency factors of Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC), Firm Size (Firm Size), Leverage (DER), and historical profitability factors (ROA_Lag). The sample of this study is the financial statements of PT New Ratna Motor (Nasmoco Group) in Semarang City for the 2021-2024 period, which were transformed into quarterly data (N=16). The results of data analysis indicate that this research model has a good level of feasibility (goodness of fit) with the ability to explain variations in profitability (Adjusted R Square) of 78.1% and successfully overcome autocorrelation interference. Simultaneously, there is a strong relationship between the independent variables and the company's profit movements. Partially, the Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC) variable is proven to have a negative and significant effect on profitability, while the Firm Size and Leverage variables have not shown a significant effect at the 95% confidence level.
Abstract:This study examines the effects of the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), world gold prices, world oil prices, and the rupiah exchange rate on the Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI) in Indonesia. The study uses monthly…
secondary data from January 2015 to December 2025, comprising 132 observations. CSPI data were obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange, DJIA, gold price, and oil price data were obtained from Investing.com, while exchange rate data were sourced from Bank Indonesia. The analysis employed the two-step Engle-Granger Error Correction Model (EG-ECM) to identify long-run relationships and short-run adjustment dynamics. The long-run results show that gold prices, world oil prices, and the DJIA have positive and significant effects on the CSPI, whereas the rupiah exchange rate has a negative but insignificant effect. In the short run, the exchange rate has a negative and significant effect on the CSPI, while gold prices, oil prices, and the DJIA have positive and significant effects. The Error Correction Term coefficient of -0.1325 is negative and significant, indicating that approximately 13.25% of short-run disequilibrium is corrected each month toward long-run equilibrium. These findings imply that investors and policymakers should closely monitor global market conditions, commodity price movements, and exchange rate volatility to support investment decisions and maintain Indonesian capital market stability
Abstract:Fazlur Rahman is one of the modern Muslim thinkers who plays an important role in the reconstruction of Islamic thought, especially in responding to the challenges of modernity. He argues that Islam is not a static teaching,…
ing, but rather a dynamic value
system that must always develop in accordance with the changing times. One of Rahman's
main criticisms of the Islamic world is the tendency to understand the Qur'an and Sunnah
literally without considering their historical and social context. He offers a double movement
methodology, an approach that traces the original meaning of the text in its historical
context, then applies it to modern conditions. This approach allows Islam to remain
relevant without losing its essence. In addition to the interpretation methodology, Rahman
also contributed to the reform of Islamic education, the integration of science with religion,
and the reconstruction of Islamic law based on the principle of maqasid al-shariah. He
emphasized the importance of reopening the door of ijtihad so that Muslims do not get
caught up in taqlid, namely the attitude of accepting Islamic law dogmatically without
critical evaluation. Rahman also criticized Islamic fundamentalism which tends to reject
modernity absolutely, as well as radical secularism which seeks to eliminate the spiritual
aspect of human life. According to him, Muslims must be able to adopt the positive aspects
of modernity, such as the development of science and technology, without sacrificing
Islamic values. With a more rational and contextual approach, Rahman provides a
foundation for Islamic renewal that is not only based on tradition, but also open to the
development of the times. His thoughts offer solutions to various global challenges faced by Muslims, including in
legal, social, and economic aspects. Thus, modernity is not a threat to Islam, but rather
an opportunity to strengthen Islamic values in the lives of contemporary society.
Abstract:This article discusses the offering dance at Bumi LancangKuning. The purpose of this article is to discuss the aesthetic values that exist in the performance dance itself. The method used in this article uses a descriptive…
criptive qualitative method. In accordance with what has been researched by researchers, the aesthetic value of this performance dance is the movements, costumes, music and also the atmosphere created during the performance. There are many meanings implied in this, such as a form of respect for the guests, then the music that accompanies it also makes the atmosphere more solemn and peaceful when looking at it. And the dancers wear sacrificial dance attire which adds aesthetic value to it, not only that, their graceful movements also add to the aesthetic values of the sacrificial dance.
Abstract:This study examines how core marching band structures can be adapted for Indonesian early childhood education through developmentally appropriate practice and performance theory. The study responds to concerns that preschool…
hool marching band activities may reproduce discipline-oriented rehearsal models designed for older learners. A one-group pre-test and post-test mixed-methods design was used with twenty Indonesian preschool children aged four to five years. Over six weeks, children participated in twelve adapted marching band sessions that combined simplified rhythmic patterns, child-scaled instruments, neat but developmentally adjusted formations, cooperative music-making, visual-motor activities, and responsive teacher facilitation. Quantitative data were collected using a four-point developmental observation rubric covering rhythmic competence, motor coordination, and socio-emotional engagement. Qualitative data were obtained from teacher reflective journals and post-intervention interviews. Paired-sample analysis showed higher post-test scores across the three developmental domains. The largest observed improvement appeared in socio-emotional engagement, followed by rhythmic competence and motor coordination. However, because the study did not include a control group, the findings should be interpreted as developmental changes observed after participation rather than definitive causal effects of the intervention. Qualitative findings indicated that children participated more confidently when teachers simplified rhythmic tasks, used clear and neat formations with reduced technical pressure, provided child-scaled instruments, supported safe movement, and acted as co-players and emotional co-regulators. The study reconceptualizes marching band routines not as rigid disciplinary scripts, but as adaptable performative frames that may support social participation, emotional regulation, rhythmic learning, motor coordination, cooperation, and creative agency when aligned with children’s developmental readiness.
Abstract:Passenger movement within aircraft aisles is an essential activity during the flight process, particularly inside narrow-body aircraft where mobility remains restricted. Interactions between passengers frequently trigger…
avoidance behaviors that potentially influence perceptions of safety, security, and comfort during travel. Therefore, this study aims to analyze passenger perceptions of aisle avoidance on Pelita Air flights based on these three specific dimensions. Methodologically, the research utilizes a quantitative descriptive approach involving a five-point Likert scale questionnaire. Data were gathered from 350 respondents who previously utilized Pelita Air flight services. Furthermore, the analysis was conducted by calculating mean values to determine the categorization of respondent perceptions. Findings indicate that all variables fall within the “good” category. Specifically, the mean value for safety reached 4.098, security 4.099, and comfort 4.077. Effectively, these findings demonstrate that the avoidance process in the cabin aisle is perceived as safe, orderly, and sufficiently comfortable despite the limited space for movement. Importantly, this study contributes to the understanding of passenger behavior in confined cabin spaces and becomes valuable input for airlines to enhance the quality of cabin services.
Abstract:The emergence of consumer boycotts driven by socio-political issues reflects a fundamental shift in consumer behavior in the digital era. In Indonesia, a country characterized by high religiosity and extensive social media…
ia engagement, the rapid dissemination of negative information through electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) can trigger strong emotional reactions toward brands. Starbucks Indonesia represents a salient case in which the brand became associated with the Israel–Palestine conflict, generating moral debates, religious sentiments, and intense brand-related hostility in digital spaces. In this context, consumers act not merely as rational economic actors, but as moral agents whose purchasing decisions are influenced by deeply held values and beliefs. This study aims to examine the effects of e-WOM and religiosity on purchase intention, with brand hate serving as a moderating variable among Starbucks consumers in Indonesia. Specifically, the research investigates how exposure to negative online narratives and consumers’ religiosity shape emotional responses in the form of brand hate, and how these responses influence purchasing intentions within a boycott context. A quantitative research design was employed using a survey method targeting Starbucks consumers in Indonesia who were aware of the boycott related to the Israel–Palestine conflict. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using structural equation modeling to assess both direct and indirect relationships among variables, including the moderating role of brand hate. This approach enables a comprehensive understanding of the psychological and behavioral mechanisms underlying consumer responses to value-laden and morally sensitive issues. The findings reveal that electronic word of mouth has a significant effect on purchase intention. Religiosity also influences purchase intention, both directly and indirectly through the formation of brand hate. Moreover, brand hate significantly moderates the relationship between e-WOM and purchase intention, such that higher levels of brand hate intensify the decline in consumers’ willingness to purchase. These results highlight the critical role of morally driven negative emotions in explaining reduced purchase intention during boycott movements. This study contributes theoretically by extending consumer behavior literature through the integration of digital communication, religiosity, and negative brand emotions within a single conceptual framework. Practically, the findings suggest that global brand managers should adopt culturally and religiously sensitive communication strategies and proactively manage digital narratives to mitigate the escalation of brand hate amid socio-political controversies.

ch can shape the mindset and interest of each student in the world of entrepreneurship. Based on this phenomenon, the authors are interested in conducting research by taking the title: "The Effect of the Driving School Project, Parents' Occupation and Family Environment on the Entrepreneurial Interest of Students of SMAN 1, SMAN 2, and SMAN 3 Jombang ". This study aimed to determine the effect of the driving school project, Parents' Employment, and Family Environment, on the Entrepreneurial Interest of SMAN 1, SMAN 2, and SMAN 3 Jombang students. This research uses a quantitative research design with a linear regression analysis to examine the relationship between variables X1, X2, and X3 based on the well-being of students in the Jombang schools. The results showed that 1) the driving school project variable did not affect the entrepreneurial interest of SMAN 1, SMAN 2, and SMAN 3 Jombang students. 2) The variable of parents' occupation affects the entrepreneurial interest of students of SMAN 1, SMAN 2, and SMAN 3 Jombang. 3) Family environment variables affect the entrepreneurial interest of SMAN 1, SMAN 2, and SMAN 3 Jombang students. 4) The variables of driving school projects, parents' work, and the family environment simultaneously and positively affect the variable of entrepreneurial interest of students of SMAN 1, SMAN 2, and SMAN 3 Jombang. Author's suggestions: 1) The school must add and provide Facilities for driving school project activities. 3) The family must provide support for children's entrepreneurial desires.
Abstract:This study examines how online media frames student demonstrations and how student voices are disarticulated in the news, especially in relation to the state's legitimacy strategy. The study period covers 2022 to 2024, when…
hen the intensity of the student movement increased in response to various public policy issues. The main purpose of this research is to uncover the practice of digital mainstream media representation of student actions and dissect the ideological power relations between state actors and civil society groups in the realm of media discourse. The approach used is Norman Fairclough's three-dimensional model of Critical Discourse Analysis (AWK), which includes analysis at three levels: textual structure (lexical and syntactic), discourse practice (the process of production and consumption of texts), and social practice (ideological and institutional context). Five news articles from Kompas.com were analyzed in depth as the main sample. The results of the study show that online media tends to frame student actions through dictionaries that reduce the meaning of their struggle, such as "chaos," "secured," and "not conducive," while prioritizing quotes from state officials or security forces. This disarticulation plays a role in strengthening the state's authority in shaping public opinion and shows the tendency of the media as a hegemonic agent. These findings emphasize the urgency of ideological awareness-based media literacy so that people are able to criticize and not passively accept media discourse.
