s a qualitative method with a systematic literature review, analyzing and synthesizing scientific sources including books, international and national journals, articles, proceedings, and relevant research findings. Data sources were obtained from scientific databases such as Google Scholar, JSTOR, ScienceDirect, ERIC, and national digital repositories. The findings consistently demonstrate that the Sam'iyah Syafawiyah method integrated with the communicative approach has a positive and significant influence on students' self-confidence in speaking Arabic. This effect operates through four main mechanisms: (1) repetitive drilling builds mastery experience; (2) native speaker audio models provide vicarious experience; (3) the communicative approach reduces affective filters; and (4) intensive practice promotes automaticity in Arabic speech production. This study concludes that the integration of both methods constitutes an effective and recommended pedagogical strategy for improving self-confidence in Arabic speaking.
Abstract:This research discusses the concepts of i’rab and ‘amil in Arabic grammar and examines the methodological differences between the Basra and Kufa schools as the two primary streams in the construction of nahwu (syntax). I’rab…
). I’rab is understood as the changes in the vowels at the end of words influenced by the presence of an ‘amil (governor) and the word's position within the sentence structure, thus playing a vital role in preserving meaning and syntactic order in the Arabic language. This study employs a qualitative approach with a library research method, tracing primary sources from the works of classical scholars and secondary sources from modern studies. Data analysis was conducted using content and comparative analysis methods to identify the epistemological characteristics of both schools. The results of the study show that the Basra school is prescriptive, rational, and selective regarding linguistic sources, whereas the Kufa school is more descriptive, flexible, and open to various speech patterns, including those considered syadz (irregular). These differing approaches impact how both schools understand and formulate the rules of i’rab and ‘amil. This study concludes that both schools provided distinct yet complementary contributions to the development of Arabic nahwu, where Basra played a role in theoretical standardization and Kufa contributed to the preservation of linguistic reality. These findings emphasize that the understanding of i’rab is not only related to grammatical aspects but is also supported by historical and epistemological perspectives within the scientific tradition of the Arabic language.

y and literature analysis, the research was conducted at SDN No. 100311 Palsabolas, involving teachers and students who utilized adaptive reading applications, text-to-speech tools, and intelligent learning platforms. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis, and validated by triangulation techniques. The findings reveal that AI-assisted media significantly improve students’ reading motivation, comprehension, and fluency. Quantitative comparison between pretest and posttest results showed notable progress, with the average literacy score increasing by 16–27 points across different indicators. Students demonstrated greater engagement and independence, while teachers benefited from automated performance analytics and personalized feedback tools. However, challenges emerged related to device limitations, technical competence, and overreliance on automated features. The study concludes that AI-based learning media serve not only as technological tools but also as pedagogical instruments that personalize instruction, foster digital literacy, and transform reading classrooms into more adaptive, interactive, and student-centered environments.
Abstract:This study investigates the forms and functions of illocutionary acts in the film Norah (2023) using a qualitative descriptive approach. The research problem centers on how dialogic interactions and rural Saudi socio-cultural…
tural contexts shape the distribution of illocutionary types. Data were collected via observation and note-taking, then classified according to Searle’s five categories (assertive, directive, commissive, expressive, declarative) and analyzed through three stages: data collection, analysis, and presentation. The findings reveal that illocutionary speech acts in the film Norah are dominated by directives in the form of commands, prohibitions, and invitations, which highlight the speaker’s role in controlling actions. In addition, expressive and commissive acts appear in the form of advice, requests, and polite expressions that function to maintain harmony and interpersonal closeness. Overall, the use of illocutionary acts in the film reflects social relations and the dynamics of everyday interaction in rural Arab society.

tary school level, which is a crucial phase in shaping children’s personalities. The implementation method employed a participatory approach by involving students, teachers, and parents in various Islamic competitions, such as the call to prayer (adhan), Qur’anic speech (syarhil Qur’an), Qur’anic recitation (tartil) and memorization (hifdzul Qur’an), calligraphy decoration, and Islamic quiz competitions. These activities were designed not only as competitive events but also as educational media for the internalization of Islamic values such as discipline, responsibility, honesty, cooperation, and self-confidence. The results indicated an increase in students’ motivation to learn religion, discipline in worship, and the development of mutual respect among peers. Therefore, Islamic competitions proved to be effective in strengthening the character of elementary school students while serving as an alternative community service activity that benefits both schools and society.

Abstract:Bullying is a deviant behavior that has serious impacts on the mental and social well-being of its victims, particularly within educational environments. From an Islamic perspective, acts of harming others—whether physically,…
ically, verbally, or psychologically—are in direct contradiction to the values taught by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This study aims to examine the perspective of hadith on bullying behavior and its relevance in shaping students’ character and social ethics. This research employs a library research method, with data obtained from primary hadith sources such as Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, and other supporting literature. The findings indicate that bullying is strongly prohibited in hadith, as it contradicts the principles of Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah Islamiyah), the prohibition of harming others, and the obligation to uphold the dignity of fellow Muslims. The Prophet’s traditions guide Muslims to guard their speech and actions, avoid mockery, and build social relationships based on compassion and mutual respect. Therefore, the internalization of hadith values can serve as a fundamental basis for bullying prevention in educational settings.
Abstract:Public speaking is the activity of speaking in front of an audience with the aim of delivering information, providing explanations, entertaining, or influencing the listeners. It also involves conveying messages verbally…
in front of an audience, whether in the form of speeches, presentations, lectures, or discussions. Public speaking is a crucial skill in various aspects of life, ranging from education to the professional world. This ability not only helps in academic presentations but also impacts how a person communicates and influences others. At the high school level and equivalent, students begin preparing for the next stage in their education or entering the workforce. Many challenges arise for students when speaking in front of an audience in a formal setting and explaining their presentations. Students face difficulties due to a lack of self-confidence, nervousness, panic, and a lack of mastery over the material they will present. In addition to a lack of self-confidence, other challenges include limited vocabulary, low communication skills, fear of judgment from others, and insufficient preparation. Basic public speaking training at Al Ma'shum High School in Kisaran would be highly beneficial for students to boost their self-confidence, enhance their communication skills, sharpen their critical and logical thinking abilities, and equip them for entering the workforce. The basic public speaking training will involve methods such as self-introduction exercises, role-playing, speech structure practice, impromptu speaking, expression training, intonation and articulation exercises, as well as feedback and evaluation.
Abstract:The learning motivation of slow learner students tends to be low due to cognitive limitations, less engaging learning experiences, and the lack of positive reinforcement, thus requiring adaptive and sustainable interventions.…
ions. This study focuses on how the implementation of the token economy method can enhance motivation, engagement, and learning behavior of slow learner students with speech delay in elementary school, as well as examining its effectiveness in influencing behavioral change. The study employed a quantitative approach using a single case study A-B-A’ design, which allows systematic observation of behavioral changes through pre-intervention, intervention, and post-intervention phases. The findings indicate a significant improvement in participation, persistence, and task completion, along with a reduction in negative behaviors such as task refusal and crying during the intervention phase. These improvements were maintained in the post-intervention phase despite the reduced intensity of token reinforcement, indicating a shift from extrinsic to intrinsic motivation. Trend analysis of the data reveals consistent and stable improvement across all phases, confirming the effectiveness of the token economy method as a behavioral intervention. The novelty of this study lies in the specific application of the token economy to slow learner students with speech delay through a single-subject approach, providing an in-depth and contextual understanding of motivational changes. The findings contribute theoretically to the reinforcement of the behavioristic approach and practically offer an alternative adaptive learning strategy for inclusive education at the elementary level.
